So while no I can't do a million animations cancels and combo swaps like DMC. When you take into account that it's a 3 char party system with the additional echo skills, the combat can be just as if not more enjoyable than DMC and I grew up on Devil may cry half of y'all started w 5 tryna gatekeep the genre like that's somehow good for gaming as a whole. To everyone that comes across this just try the damn game

Spectro Rover is actually one if not the most forgiving when it comes to parrying. On top of him/her having a very nice animation on his/her entire kit.
I think it's company focus on target audiences. In general, Mihoyo games are difficulty-wise "E for Everyone" while Kuro sets a notable player skill ceiling in theirs. It makes it that for hoyo stuff, most people (at least, most people who can proficiently use some kinda game system) can reach and clear endgame but doing so can end up being pretty boring, while for kuro stuff, only a select few will ever make it to true endgame but for those few and some more that enjoy the struggle, they might enjoy every step and fall. It's not too far off from the FromSoftware approach where the game's definitely not for everyone but the players it's for often love it for what it is. That said, the combat mechanics and overall difficulty are pretty much the only interest I have in WuWa. Compared to Yostar and Mihoyo, Kuro still tends to fall a bit short on menu/interface polish, non-active-gameplay QoL, and Narrative writing/presentation. Is it fair to compare them? Probably not; iirc, Kuro Games is size-wise significantly smaller than the other two. Still, with a market like this, it's hard to not compare, but having an edge in anything despite the disparity in size/budget is definitely worth something at least.
i like switching into a different character and have them do the parry and swap back. makes it seem like the tank comes in for the crucial block and ya take over and beat up the enemy just like in movies and stuff
@@menacingmenace7422yeah I'm using a pretty standard mid range phone and i only got 14ish fps difference when playing with max setting vs lowest setting. This game needs some serious optimization for lower setting
@@Infinitiysoul oh yeah, I'm actually optimistic about the game. I'm on a potato PC tho, even when in low settings and locked at 30fps, I get freeze frames at times. But based on my rig: CPU: i5-4460 4 Cores 3.2GHz GPU: GTX 1070 RAM: 16GB I'm 100% sure it should run at 30fps smoothly. I'm really looking forward to when it gets stable enough that I do get to play this game smoothly despite my old rig.
you can only parry the enemy when the circle appears and you need to hit it at the right time, you just got lucky that the circle appeared at the right time when you did the plunge attack, other than that you can’t parry with plunge attack
What so weird about it? I think in PGR, the character also can parry with the skill/any attack moves with proper timing. Dont say it is because of you just parry with plunge attack and that make you feel like its news feature😂😂.

Besides the parry you can also so counter attacks when you successfully dodge attacks as well u can tell u can counter when theres a weird blob around you after you dodge and switch dodging is a thing too
Youre stopping the attack with your own. Literally a parry. Counterattack would be tanking then attacking in favor, which is its own mechanic. Dodge attacks are another, different mechanic.
This kind parry kind tricky to do for some people, you need to adjust it right the moment the enemy about to hit, and you parry it with the plunge attack

I would say the mephis is (at least for me) the easiest to parry. I usually press R in the keyboard whenever it attacks, and when I do that, my LMB click is automatically aligned. So I turned it into a little rhythm game. Ab the keyboard button press makes it so that my finger on the mouse clicks at the same time. I found this makes aligning the parry attack way easier. Feels so powerful and bullying, when you parry it 4-5x in a row and it just can't do anything but standing there, exhausted. :D
You can parry with this, you can parry with echos, you can parry with charged attacks, you can parry with resonance skills, you can parry with resonance liberation, you can dodge-parry, you can parry cancel, you can parry-dodge swap cancel, you can intro skill parry, you can outro skill parry, you can dodge counter attack
only pro players with pure skills will understand how to beat hologram there is a secret to it how to beat it 😂 so Ill let you all figure out what it is

Impeccable timing but unfortunately my game still gives me allot of lag on the lowest fps setting so my parries are mostly about luck at this point which is a shame cuz I was really getting into studying enemy attack patterns till I realized the lagging becoming worse and I just gave up on that... When I get better tech, I'll try again
