They are dry, hard to chew, cut your mouth. Lots of comments saying there is no cheese. I'll explain. There are two ways cheesesteaks in Philly are presented, cheese top and cheese bottom. After the steak is chopped the cheese is put on top of the steak on the grill to let it melt. Some businesses than slide the spatula under all the meat then place it on the bread so the cheese is on top. Others put the bread on top of the cheese and steak while still on the grill to allow the cheese to melt into the bread as well, then scoop it up so the cheese is bottom. Now this place uses a ton of meat so you don't really see the cheese.
Another challenge that's all about the fries. So many! I don't think I've ever had a cheesesteak...but I think I'd want mine to have more cheese than this one appeared to have.

Yes I made a point to go to Geno’s/Pat’s when I was in Philly. I chose Geno’s over Pat’s by way of coin flip. Since I live in Fishers, Indiana I don’t get Gold standard cheesesteaks. So Geno’s was the best I’ve had.

Best Philly cheesesteaks in Philly is Jim’s but you can go to Gino’s or Pat’s and get almost as good of a sandwich. The very best one around is actually Donkey’s in Camden NJ though!
