"Logos" could also refer to the wisdom of God and it can become flesh, perfectly fitting his understanding. However Tim in this short clipped video did not address the idea that the logos templed among them. This is clearly a reference to the real God(the Father) abiding in His Son via His spirit. Tim is also avoiding the actual context of the entire 1st chapter thinking it necessarily refers to Genesis creation. It can also be referring to the new creation in the spiritual realm. Why? Because it jumps straight to John's baptisms, disputation with religious leaders and then the baptism of Jesus. It is a bit anachronistic to necessarily say John 1 is referring to Genesis creation and then without question jumps straight to John's ministry thousands of years later.
My goodness, everywhere I look, I see false prophets. The Scriptures DO NOT teach Gnostic philosophy. Logos simply means word/speech (and it's synonymous with the Gospel) and not a person. The Septuagint has logos allover the place and NOBODY ever taught it was a person, ever!! The word became flesh at Jesus His baptism, that is the moment He started His ministry and went to preach/teach about the Kingdom of God and Salvation NOT before. Before all of that, Jesus was growing up in wisdom with God and men, living under the Law, reading the Scriptures in the Synagouge, obeying His God and Father, working as a Carpenter. That was UNTIL Jesus was ready to be presented to Israel by John the Baptist! All of this philosophical JUNK has *nothing* whatsoever to do with the Scriptures!!!
