@@richduperbash2966 U will love this. I got the 330pm special on a Friday before a long holiday weekend build of an XRT. lol. The body/chassis panels were weirdo’d out. Had to take apart and redo them. Body had a few scratches that were coming through the paint from underside. But this was a good one. I called Traxxas and since I was the only one in line to talk, I stayed on and told them what happened. They did offer replacement parts” but would take a while”. It also depends on their skill level. The ones who have been bashing and jumping for quite a while know how to control their rc's which limit breakage. True if you end up with a lemon of an rc it won't matter but most companies these days are putting out good product. It also depends on what the rc was intended for. It you drive it beyond its limits or what it was intended for you'll definitely experience more breakage. Personally it's easier to watch the ones who know what their doing but we all have to start from the beginning.

Hey I have close to the gearing setup on my xmax with same motor and esc and mine hits the thermal cut off and when I put a temp gun on the esc its only like 135 do you think it's defective or just much hotter internally. And I have it set to the higher temp setting.
That's a good question my friend. You shouldn't hit thermal at 135F. Kinda wonder if the ESC is going thermal prematurely, especially if your fan is working alright. Might try a 2nd temp gun for comparison if you think it's getting hotter. Some guys run 25/35 Vitavon, but I've been fine with 25/30 and lighter 8s Backflips.
I just put the 5687 in an Outcast 8S EXB running a 30-39 spur and pinion. I couldn't ask for more power as it's nearly impossible to keep that heavy front end on the ground at half throttle. I like the Max5 combo so well that I bought another one on a good sale at HobbyWing Direct....$254.00. I don't have an rc truck, truggy or buggy for this combo yet......but I'm sure I'll find something;-) Love the vids and the time you take to explain the good, the bad and the ugly on each platform. Thanks so much David and happy Thanksgiving to you too Brother 🤗. Yeah I love the 5687!!! She was about perfect in my O8s and has done Killer in the XMaxx too. Grabbing these units on sale is a smart move. They always go to good use when the time is right. Much appreciated my friend. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Another great basing session! Happy to see that M2C comes out with some nice upgrades. I hope there is a solution for the bell cranks soon 😘 Happy Thanksgiving!
Sounds like someones already looking into that bell crank solution 😉 I've purchased some of your parts for my Kraton build and they're nothing short of stellar parts! Appreciate all that you do!
Thanks so much dear Kimberly 😍. Fingers crossed HR or someone offers an aftermarket bell crank 👍. Truly appreciate the kind words as always. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!! 😘😘😎💪👊👊
What an awesome rip Brother Rich! The XRT has woken up!😱😍Great run down and tips! Sucks on the diff but she was still cookin out there in the wide open! The 1100kv is definitely a great setup!💪 I'm going to try a 1120kv Hobbystar motor for something different. Hope to run soon if it ever quits raining! Killer launches and casers on the mound! This truck definitely has potential! Can't wait to see what all M2C has in store for us! Great vid my bro!😎🤙🚀🚀
Thanks so much Brother Eric 🤗. I was bummed both ring gears ended up toasted, but my bad for not inspecting the front closely. She took a decent hammering and moves great with the 1100 👍. Stoked about the new M2C mount and other plans they have cooking. The XRT definitely has potential. We're looking at storms here too starting tomorrow 👀. Hopefully sneak a quickie in before we get soaked. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother!!! 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Thanks so much Brother Aaron 🤗. I'm happy the chassis and bulkheads seem to be hanging tough. The bell crank is just too fragile 😝. Gonna keep running the saver sloppy loose and hope for the best until there's an upgrade available. Happy Thanksgiving 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
What a killer session brother Rich, jaöust came across it, no notification 😢 sorry for that. Love the look of this car, can almost feel it feels nimble 🥰
Thanks so much dear Brother 😍. I love the look and handling too 👀. Definitely nimble for her size. She's got a few weak spots, but that's most every RC depending on use. Truly appreciate it 🤗🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊

Thanks so very much Tom 😜!!! Definitely digging this setup so far Brother. Still kicking myself for not inspecting the front ring gear after bash #1. That brutal lock up did a number on the gears 😝. Truly appreciate the kind words as always my friend!!! Have a great week. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Awesome bash sesh brother Rich. The 1100 setup sure is sweet man. Definitely needs that motor mount support for that wheat silo sized motor lol. Shame about the front diff but that’s an easy fix. Great vid mate. 😎👊🏼👌🏼💪🏼
Thanks so much Brother Dave 😜!!! Definitely need some support for these beefier motors. Wished I'd never ran the stock speed gears my first run, but didn't expect such a violent implosion either 😱😂. Lesson learned. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother!!! Should have the Infraction out soon with your custom solid tires my friend. 🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Awesome bro💪🏽👊 Now it's a beast👍🏻 But he's not indestructible after all😂 I'm looking forward to your tunig with m2c and other aftermarket parts🙂 thank you so much for another very interesting vid!🙏
You bet Brother 👊. It's an awesome material with insane durability. I use a Dremel with fiber cut off wheel to cut pieces to size (use eye protection 👀). It drills easily and you can file or use a bench grinder to easily shape and round edges and corners. You can make bumpers or bumper supports too. It will bend with use of a vise and heat gun (and wrench to apply torque) once hot enough. Lots of great RC applications 👊 www.amazon.com/KYDEX%C2%AE-Black-0-125-pack-sheet/dp/B00II1QY9Y?pd_rd_w=Mw5vK&content-id=amzn1.sym.fea327c4-5fbe-469f-b9dd-c809442d925d&pf_rd_p=fea327c4-5fbe-469f-b9dd-c809442d925d&pf_rd_r=G9WJHZM768KRZGVN8HY8&pd_rd_wg=J9U5X&pd_rd_r=01006ceb-6072-4642-9b90-78620e010290&pd_rd_i=B00II1QY9Y&psc=1&ref_=pd_basp_bia_rpt_ba_s_2_sc

Bummer on the belcrank snapping and chipped gears. But the M2C goodies are holding up strong 💪🤘 which are gonna a game changing pieces for this truck. Vitavon just released their metal belcrank but I'm excited about what Avery is cooking in his Lab. Another EPIC sesh my friend
Thanks so much Brother Chris 😜!!! I regretted not inspecting the front diff closely after that collosal lock up my first run 😂. Guess that was my punishment for running the pot metal gears 💩. When in doubt, grind them out. Glad I had a spare bell crank to keep running. M2C is working their magic thank goodness!!! I'm digging the XRT, just gotta work out the gremlins. Much appreciated as always Brother. 🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Rich i just ordered the m2c mount for my x maxx (tried another brand and wasnt happy), will the mount let the motor go down far enough for a 28 46 gearing (mod 1) or will i need to go with a bigger pinion and spur
With the motor being so close to the ESC I'd guess heat transfer from the motor to esc might make the ESC thermal shut down early. Tall gearing won't help your the pro but have you considered the space between?
Yeah the layout is somewhat space limited between the reciever and motor. My ESC only reached in the 125F-130 range after wide open running. The gearing is a bit tall, but there's ample space between the endbell to prevent contact and allow plenty of air flow. The body air vents definitely help 👍. The motor heat gets pulled right out the back. 🍻
There is room, but it'd require relocating the ESC, likely on a raised mount closer to (or partially over) the reciever box. Pretty sure M2C is working on a mount to allow fitment of 112-113 size motors. 🍻
Yah I broke my Xmaxx bell crank almost every run. I have a Vitavon one now and it's so butter smooth and just beefcake I don't see it breaking. Xrt looks pretty sick though I wish Traxxas would sell rollers so we didn't have to pay for those vxl electronics. It would save most of us a ton of 💸. Great run brother as always really great content 👏 👌
Thanks so much Brother 😜. Yeah my HR bellcrank and drag link has worked awesome in Green Bertha. Can't wait until HR and Vitavon bust out some XRT hop ups 😍. It's a bummer they don't offer a roller, but that's how Traxxas rolls. Truly appreciate the kind words!!! 🍻
Agreed. They should have a “pro” line of rollers. I buy a lot of stuff and I never need the remote, rec, motor, esc, or the crap servo. Come on Traxxas. You build good cars and trucks. Either put HV good electronics or leave them out for us pro’s. It’s good it comes RTR for the novice rc guy or gal but I’m a serious driver.
Hi my friend 🤗. The best solution I've found is running longer M5 screws. I do a depth check into the diff case using a driver bit to measure and use the longest screws possible for maximum bite. Think 2 of the 4 holes will take M5 x 25mm 🤔. You can also use fine steel wool to tighten areas that have begun to strip out the plastic. Basically roll a small (skinny) cigarette of fine wool with your fingers the same length as the threads and thread the screw in with the wool off to one side of the diff case. If your case gets stripped bad enough, it will likely need replacing. The more expensive solution would be upgrading to an alloy Vitavon case. 😎💪👊👊
I don't know what I did wrong but my front and rear diff exploded and my motor flew off ripping a hole through the top of the body. 😂 Actually, I know what I did wrong. I let my brother drive it on the motocross track at Argyll MX in Dixon and he collided with my KX450F dirt bike head-on it also broke the fork guards on my bike. He went backward on the track while I was coming out of a blind berm. 😂 She's fixed now. Not letting my brother near it again, lol. As always, you have so much control over these RCs Rich. It's fun to watch you jam back and forth full bore bouncing off all the bumps and transitions.
Holy crap that's friggin Nuts Brother 😂. Better the XMaxx I guess than you completely stacking it on your bike at speed. Yeah I'd be taking all RC privileges from my brother too 🤣. Truly appreciate you sharing that crazy mishap and the kind words my friend. Happy Thanksgiving 🍻😎💪👊👊
Awesome bash man! You going mod 1.5 on this like Bertha? I've been running bowhouse 8mm spur shaft and still just hardened sargas mod1 gears with no issues but those 1.5s got me intrigued.
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Felt great to get back out there despite the front ring gear grinding away 🤣. Yeah I'm always curious about weight differences with different set-ups. 150g isn't much for the gain in power with the 5687 💪. Happy Thanksgiving to you too my friend!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Did you put 80 in all 4 shocks , how are you liking it . i have a set of the m2c pistons for my Xmaxx that i never installed thinking of adding them to the XRT instead lol
Yes indeed Michael, started with 80 weight all 4 corners with 1.4mm M2C pistons. Make sure to face the slotted side of the piston face down in the shock body. 80 weight seems a bit heavy, but you might like it. I may try 60-70 weight as the weather gets colder here. 😎💪👊👊
SEND IT!!! Epic bash as usual, what was the horse rider's response, "yup, great day to double backflip an RC car 100 feet?" 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂 Have a great Thanksgiving!
LMAO 😂. Thanks so much Brother. Folsom Lake has a good bit of equestrians. I'm always on the lookout when Mt biking the single track. Happy Thanksgiving to you too my friend!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
I think the center area spacing is different between the trucks. Mitch and Avery are working on an XRT specific block to hold the barrel and bearing retainer. 🍻
The 2 plastic ramps were from Discountramps.com. They had been on backorder for around 3-4 years, but looks like they are back at their website sold as a table top with 2 ramps and an optional top piece 🤔
Maaaan this makes me debate building a xmax! I don't no what time do I was going to max 5 combo an xmax but I don't no weather to wait for one if these essentially after being done properly which ones is the better aargghhh hahaha
The XRT has real potential 👀. The flat style chassis and tower bracing gives it a serious strength advantage over the XMaxx in my opinion. 2 totally different trucks really. If you like speed and good handling, the XRT wins. The XMaxx is Mad fun no question, but it requires lots of upgrades to keep the chassis, bulkheads, and gears intact for harder bashing anyways. 🍻
Hey my friend great video like always but better God bless u and yours,Happy Thanksgiving day I wish u the best today and always bless day my friend 🙏🙏
Yeah I hate running bad gears, but didn't have enough time to swap the ring gear and bell crank as the sun was setting 😝. Turns out that nasty lock up with the stock spur my first run jacked both ring gears 😂
@@ntwrc3755 I haven't ran my XRT with the Max5 yet, but it made a noticable power difference with my XMaxx and same exact set-up. The Max5 is heavier, but it affords max potential from the 1100.
Rich do you think this set up is OK for the outcast 8s , it's on sale for 239 but guys saying u need the Maxx 5 for this motor but it be over 300 if I buy individual. Ideally I like to find max 5 combo with this motor on sale , arrma kills me with these sales 399 for fireteam my frugality won't allow me to spend 4 500 on just electronics lol but good time with the sales . Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family 👪
Happy Thanksgiving Paul 🤗. You could use this set-up on the heavier O8s, but you won't realize maximum power with the Max6. 399$ for the Fireteam 😱. Damn that's a sweet deal Brother. So many temptations🍻😎💪👊👊
I'm running Hobbystar 7200mah 100C soft packs from RCJuice and Ovonic 6000mah 60C. Had to add 1/4" felt padding on top of the packs to snug the fit with the holders. 🍻
Thanks Brother 🤗. Yeah I regret not physically pulling the front diff to look at it 😝. Seemed fine at the house. It's Crazy how that lock up my first run took both diffs out, but the metal isn't the best either. 😎💪👊👊
Thanks so much Eirik. I think the XRT has inherent strength advantages with the flat style chassis and tower bracing at the body mounts. The front brace/steering rack cover is a huge improvement over the XMaxx. I think Traxxas did a great job with the overall design engineering. The XMaxx is Mad fun, but I'm thinking it requires more upgrades to make solid at this point. The XRT definitely wins in the speed and drifting department. Comes down to preference between truggy vs MT. 🍻
Nice Session with XRT Rich!! She is not the most graceful in the Landing department 😜😆👍 I know this is more of a speed truggy, but it's GREAT to watch you Send the 💩 out of it 😆😆😆. Happy Thanksgiving!! Stay safe and Bash on from Colorado!!!
Thanks so much Ervin 🤗. Yeah she hits a bit hard at times 😱😂. Still adjusting to her nuances. Hopefully we'll see an alloy bell crank option soon 👀. Running the saver loose until then. Just grateful she hasn't broken in half 😱. Happy Thanksgiving to you too Brother!!!!🍻😎💪👊👊
Nah 25/35 with the 1100kv I got that in mine it’s stupid quick!!!!Also does anybody know of any fan mounts that fit on an xrt with an 1100kv? I also have the m2c mountzilla motor mount and I’ve been looking for something for a while now for cooling but can’t find anything
You are spot on Brother 👊. The K8s EXB is a Beast with proper electronics. The XRT is pretty cool though. Smart move by Traxxas to spice things up. She's fast and handles well. Jumping aside, I'm definitely a fan of hauling ass. 😎💪👊👊
What you do is what I call bashing, or what Kevin Talbot does. I would never buy an XRT, but I would build one. Just start with the chassis and build everything else. I would never use Traxxas electronics anyways. The only thing that has stopped me from building one is I already have a fully built K8 and O8, and I don’t think a fully built XRT would even be as good as one of those.
Yeah buying one new full price to modify is a very pricey. Agree Alan the electronics are junk, so is the TQi controller 😂. The truck is fast being lighter than the K8s, but no were near as durable. Just yesterday, my bash buddy Shelby broke his clean in half and left the cheap center driveshaft bent at a 90° angle 😱😂. Yes it was a rock landing, but that level of absolute carnage wouldn't have happened with the K8s or Outcast. The risk for a catastrophic breakage or gear failure is always present when you're bashing a Traxxas. 🍻
Despite a few rough moments, she's turning out to be pretty FUN 😱. Definitely has potential with a few more tweaks and tuning. I'm stoked the chassis hasn't grenaded. 😎💪👊👊
I’ll be completely honest the truck does not look very impressive at all to me. Lots of breakages equal lots of headaches just as my Xmaxx did these expensive Traxxas rigs are not meant to send to the moon they do not have the professional quality of a Arrma and I’m not a fan boy I just love the hobby. I’ve just noticed a lot of paid representation out there of Traxxas. I’m getting my own. I’ll show you the truth.
I'm impressed the chassis hasn't imploded like my XMaxx did several times before the M2C chassis brace 👀. Thinking the flat style chassis has a considerable strength advantage. The K8s and O8s are completely different animals 😍. The XRT definitely has a weight advantage for it size. Regardless, Traxxas is overpriced for what you get, and the cheap monkey metal gears are proof of that 😝. The truck handles well and moves nice for it's size. We'll see how she holds up over time. They all need upgrades either way you slice it for harder bashing. 🍻
With all the bulkheads I see breaking i would like to see just the bulkheads in 7075.. you see people with crappy bashing skill just send it with crappy landings I'm definitely not sold on this rig yet until you and m2c are done with it💯 being it's fully plastic this wouldn't be a smart choice for someone who lives in NY every Traxxas I've had broke every single time when it was cold because it makes the plastic brittle!
I've got rustler with same wheels as yours/oversized hubs. New alloy suspension, locked diff so can't burn diff gears out. I found if you make something stronger the next break is further in and more expensive. That's why they make them flexible and little things break or pop out not stopping or cost you too much. I added heaps and even with alloy chassis it still breaks things that are more expensive when launching them or flat out crashes. Avagud1
You really have to be very selective about which upgrades to do. Some simply add weight and don't benefit performance much or at all. When done right, upgrades can increase durability and performance dramatically. 🍻
@richduberbash2966 Hey rich love your videos! Thanks so much for what you do for the rc community! I was wondering if you could pick just one between the kraton 6s exb, the kraton 8s exb, and the traxxas xrt which would it be!? I am willing to deck out whichever when i end up with. Thanks in advance! I know this is a loaded question
Thanks so much Andy 🤗. Overall between those 3 I'd probably say the K6s EXB. I definitely love the larger scales, but the K6s is a must have all around great basher. 🍻😎💪👊👊
Hey Rich help me out. The one area I don’t quite understand is gearing. I’m a hick from Alabama so math isn’t my strongest attribute. I am country strong and can whoop that ass… my specialty lmao. Kidding aside. You change ratio so often I can’t keep up lol. I have 1100kv and the max 5 and 6 that I use in xmaxx and now the xrt. I see a lot of people suggesting 20/30 or 25/30 on Exo’s page. Have you tried those ratios? I have all the M2c mounts and stuff so I don’t know where the limitations are with that mount and what gears still mesh well. At any rate what I’m looking for is to get the potential out of my set-up with out going thermal on the motor but don’t want to be so conservative that I leave power on the table. I bought all this gear and want it to run like a raped ape. What ratio have you ultimately decided is best all around? Thank you.
Great comment and question Brother 🤗. Gearing definitely takes some experimentation. I don't use any mathematics with my set ups, just follow basic goals and general principles. I'm still running Vitavon mod 1.5 (25/30) gearing with my XMaxx (HW 5687 1100kv and Max5 equivalent Leo 200A). It's kinda overkill. Hopefully try 20/30 mod 1.5 in my XRT soon. 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 stupendous! Ok, here is what I’m gonna do. 20/30. I saw this spur that is MMM I think from Germany. Allows you to still use Cush drive and it’s mod 1.5. Thanks so much dear Kimberly 😍. Fingers crossed HR or someone offers an aftermarket bell crank 👍. Truly appreciate the kind words as always. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!! 😘😘😎💪👊👊
Dude you're awesome I like how you give gearing advice and Temps 💯👍🏿💪🏿
Always a good day when rich uploads a video that starts in “overkill” 😂
Thank you Brother 🤗
Test and tune!! She is looking good Rich. Couple more things and you will have her all dialed in 🤩🤩
Thanks so much Brother Aaron 🤗.
Truly appreciate it 🤗🍻🤙🤙😎💪👊👊
Your videos are the best Rich, 👌. This is an excellent setup actually. I'll probably do the same when I get mine. Great job my friend. Thanks for taking the time for us fans making such awesome videos. Have an awesome week brother. 👊❤️🍻💪💯🙏😎💪🔥
Sick power, nicely done 👍🏽
Thanks so much Brother 🍻😎💪👊👊
Love watching your vids and such nice spots there in the states......Keep on bashing!!! Thumbs up!
Thanks so much Brother 😜!!! Hopefully 2023 will be less hectic so I can get out more 🍻😎💪👊👊
Ya buddy ! What a ripper! Great upgrades and rig bud!
Thanks so much Brother 😜
Bash worthy!!! Love it bro!
Thank you Brother 🤗
@@richduperbash2966 awesome stuff brother. PM if ya need any help bud. 😎👊🏼👌🏼
Awesome bro💪🏽👊
Now it's a beast👍🏻 But he's not indestructible after all😂
I'm looking forward to your tunig with m2c and other aftermarket parts🙂 thank you so much for another very interesting vid!🙏
Thank you Brother 🤗. She's not indestructible, but has nice potential. Excited to get her dialed in with more tuning and proper upgrades. 🍻😎💪👊👊
An you link me what kydex you use seems like a useful material to have on hand for random fabs needed
You bet Brother 👊. It's an awesome material with insane durability. I use a Dremel with fiber cut off wheel to cut pieces to size (use eye protection 👀). It drills easily and you can file or use a bench grinder to easily shape and round edges and corners. You can make bumpers or bumper supports too. It will bend with use of a vise and heat gun (and wrench to apply torque) once hot enough. Lots of great RC applications 👊 www.amazon.com/KYDEX%C2%AE-Black-0-125-pack-sheet/dp/B00II1QY9Y?pd_rd_w=Mw5vK&content-id=amzn1.sym.fea327c4-5fbe-469f-b9dd-c809442d925d&pf_rd_p=fea327c4-5fbe-469f-b9dd-c809442d925d&pf_rd_r=G9WJHZM768KRZGVN8HY8&pd_rd_wg=J9U5X&pd_rd_r=01006ceb-6072-4642-9b90-78620e010290&pd_rd_i=B00II1QY9Y&psc=1&ref_=pd_basp_bia_rpt_ba_s_2_sc
@@richduperbash2966 you are a true RC gentleman 🤣. Really appreciate the info! Just ordered! Watch everything you put out there thanks for the awesome content as usual! You da man
Awesome truck just wondering what diff oil were you running. Thank you and nice build
Thanks so much Mike 🤗. I'm running 500k front and 200k rear. Haven't touched the center. Planning to try Silicone ear plugs sometime soon. Probably once I install the Max5 with prototype M2C mount. 🍻
Watched it twice and forgot to comment I'm a dumdass and getting old LoL 🤣. Killer session with the XRT Bro Rich! That sucker was a monster out there man.
nice run, tho short, prototypes in the mail!!!
Thanks so much Brother Avery 🤗. Excited to try the prototypes!!!! 🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Are there any compatible fan mounts that are compatible with this setup? I have an xrt with the m2c fan Mount and 1100kv with a max 6 on 28/46 gearing
Rich i just ordered the m2c mount for my x maxx (tried another brand and wasnt happy), will the mount let the motor go down far enough for a 28 46 gearing (mod 1) or will i need to go with a bigger pinion and spur
I think it will, but am not 100% positive 🤔. You might need to run a 30 or 32 pinion.
Absolutely awesome ripping mate , love it 🔥🔥🤘🏻
Thanks so much Brother 😜. Happy bashing!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Rich - is there room for a longer 113mm can ? I couldn’t tell if you had room to shift your Max5 forward or not.
Hello Rich! I have a problem with my screws in the diff case on my kraton 8s, when i do big jumps they dont hold on. How can i fix it? Thank u ❤❤❤
Tight work as usual…🤙🏾..Happy 🦃 day..
Thanks Charles 🤗. Happy Thanksgiving Brother 🍻
Car is a Beast! Love it
I don't know what I did wrong but my front and rear diff exploded and my motor flew off ripping a hole through the top of the body.
Hey I know that spot 😉 Great shakedown as always. Thank you for saying what the weight difference is with the new motor setup. Happy thanksgiving.
Were is this at in Sacramento
Folsom Lake on the Granite Bay side. Unfortunately it's all underwater right now.
That thing goes !
Yes she sure does 🍻😎💪👊👊
Did you put 80 in all 4 shocks , how are you liking it . i have a set of the m2c pistons for my Xmaxx that i never installed thinking of adding them to the XRT instead lol
Happy sandy Thanksgiving drifts. Going to be a good day
Thanks Craig 🤗. Hoping for a fun day with the family 😍. Have a great Thanksgiving and weekend!!! 😎💪👊👊
Will the mc2 drive shaft set up work for that 🤔
I think the center area spacing is different between the trucks. Mitch and Avery are working on an XRT specific block to hold the barrel and bearing retainer. 🍻
What are those two ramps?
The 2 plastic ramps were from Discountramps.com. They had been on backorder for around 3-4 years, but looks like they are back at their website sold as a table top with 2 ramps and an optional top piece 🤔
Getting that Xrt where it needs to be brother....👀👍🤩🚀⚡️Couple more tweaks and she'll be perfect 🥰 💯💪....
❄️Happy Holidays❄️
Thanks so much Brother 😜. Slowly getting her dialed in right 🤙. Truly appreciate it. Happy holidays to you too!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 keeping things stock will never be part of my plans 😅🤣

Awesome video. Did you change the oil weight when you changed to m2c pistons?
Thanks Gonzalo 🤗. Yes I dropped in 80 weight. Meant to mention it in the intro but forgot. It feels a bit heavy, but dampening is nice. 😎💪👊👊
@@richduperbash2966 maybe 60 or 70 then? I switched the pistons but left stock oil.
@@gonzalomanuel8305 yeah I'd try 60 weight 🤔. Think stock is either 30 or 40 weight.

Couldn't hear click at first but definitely got louder at the half way point
Yeah I hate running bad gears, but didn't have enough time to swap the ring gear and bell crank as the sun was setting 😝. Turns out that nasty lock up with the stock spur my first run jacked both ring gears 😂
What pinion and spur you running with the 1100kv motor
I was running 32/46 mod 1. Just switched to 25/30 Vitavon mod 1.5 🍻
You prefer the max6 or max5 with your 1100kv
@@ntwrc3755 I haven't ran my XRT with the Max5 yet, but it made a noticable power difference with my XMaxx and same exact set-up. The Max5 is heavier, but it affords max potential from the 1100.
One of the things about “upgrading” all the time. Is the truck just breaks constantly. A stock xmaxx, or XRT will bang for months without breaking.
Wasn't sure if u said but are u running the max6 or max5? Also do u think the max6 would be ok with the 1100 in a lightly modded xmaxx?
I'm running the Max6. It's a perfect fit/replacement for the VXL. It should work awesome in the XMaxx 😎💪👊👊
You need a nitro my guy electrics are sweet but you need to change it up! I think you would like it.
Someday it will happen 🍻
Looks good 😮
What batterys ?
I'm running Hobbystar 7200mah 100C soft packs from RCJuice and Ovonic 6000mah 60C. Had to add 1/4" felt padding on top of the packs to snug the fit with the holders. 🍻
Absolutely awesome! Great vid, new SUBSCRIBER here 🤜💥🤛
Thanks so much Brother 🤗. Truly appreciate the kind words!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
Your diff being slightly gone is all I could hear in the intro either way great video
Thanks Brother 🤗. Yeah I regret not physically pulling the front diff to look at it 😝. Seemed fine at the house. It's Crazy how that lock up my first run took both diffs out, but the metal isn't the best either. 😎💪👊👊
Awsome video Rich! Whats ur opinion vs the Xmaxx?
SON OF A.....😂😂😂
Nice!!!!!
I ran 3446 it was an animal
Nah 25/35 with the 1100kv I got that in mine it’s stupid quick!!!!Also does anybody know of any fan mounts that fit on an xrt with an 1100kv? I also have the m2c mountzilla motor mount and I’ve been looking for something for a while now for cooling but can’t find anything
That's a great combo. 25/30 Vitavon gears works Killer too. Check out tppartsrcxtreme. Thomas is running the 1100 with Thunderoos fans.
K8 EXB is still king for now. Nice try though, Traxxas. Still looks like a killer rig though!
You are spot on Brother 👊. The K8s EXB is a Beast with proper electronics. The XRT is pretty cool though. Smart move by Traxxas to spice things up. She's fast and handles well. Jumping aside, I'm definitely a fan of hauling ass. 😎💪👊👊
💪 💪 💪
Awesome👍
Thanks Brother 🤗
🤯🤯🌪🌪👍
Wow so fast
NIIIICE 🔥
That thing is absolutely effing reee-tarded. Holy crap I need one LOL
Despite a few rough moments, she's turning out to be pretty FUN 😱. Definitely has potential with a few more tweaks and tuning. I'm stoked the chassis hasn't grenaded. 😎💪👊👊
i still think without all these mods Arrma is on top
😮👍🏻😃
Hey
I agree Brother 👊. Plastic trucks are a gamble in colder weather. Excited to see what M2C has instore. Have a great Thanksgiving!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊
WD-40 brudda! 🤙🏻
They are 35t so that will allow me to use 20t mod 1.5 or adjust from there. Do a “D” cut pinion from someone that had them. Will trade notes on progress. I’m a truck driver so it’s hard to get driving time. Give me a few weeks lol.
Btw.. are you in Sacramento somewhere around there?
@@DJ_SHANNIMAL yes indeed Brother, I'm just past Sacramento in Placer County. 🍻
@@richduperbash2966 Cool. I drive trucks so we have a hub up that way. Although I usually end up in southern CA. I want to hit that dirt pile you always launch from lol. Hey last night I ordered the M2C pistons and VG racing springs. You said you just use stock fluid? Like 30 or 35?
