Thanks Brother 🤗. The bigger 8s EXB shocks, camber links, and split center bracing really changed the durability with this platform. ARRMA also revised the A arms awhile back. This platform has so much potential. Having a true large scale drivetrain helps 💪. Putting bigger electronics in really changes the whole experience 😍

Mine aren't. They're made of ultra durable anti ballooning compound, but they do balloon a bit on power. Yeah the Max4 is huge 😂. The motor is bigger than a coke can and the ESC makes the Max5 look kinda small. I had my doubts about the handling with the added weight, but I was wrong. The power difference is nuts 👀

Thanks Brother 🤗. I'm running 40 weight shock oil. Dialed down the spring collars to set the preload to about arms level with the ground with her fully loaded. Not sure if the oversized M2C outdrive cups have been released yet 🤔. They pair with the overkiil shafts and pins I'm testing out.

Rich.. can u help me please...I've built a version 1 exb 8s.. Castle motor. Uprated different but inwant to ask how much play should be in the rear diff pinion... clicking noise but different are all of. The pinion moves back and forth to much for me
Hey Matt 👊. There's play built into the design with the front and rear diff pinion (input) gears. Some guys add a shim behind the gear in the gear box, I never have. I just use the single stock shim on the crown gear side bearing. If you're having clicking on throttle like a slipping gear, make sure the teeth look good and you don't have a crack in the bulkhead or diff cup itself.

Thanks Dan 🤗. My buddy Victor runs the Castle 1100kv in his K8s and it's fast with great torque. The 560kv on 12s with 42/39 gearing is heavier no question, but the torque is on a different level. The longer Mega wheelbase truly gets the power down awesome with fantastic handling 😍. I'm not arguing one setup is better than the other, just know this rig is unlike anything I've ever ran.
