Gross though, can you imagine trying to get it on after eating a ton of tiramisu? All that cream and eggs and cheese and sugar, jostling around... Barf Dx

Is this Chef John or Don Juan? Three dimensional chocolate, back up chocolates, and dessert before AND after "the loving". You sure know how to woo a lady.
Daniel Gill I've been watchin every single video of his and it's amazing! I share his passion for food, wish I had a place to cook all these! (Did you catch that little title drop?)
I took a cooking class in Italy with a professional chef and was searching for the same recipe. I could only find cake versions of tiramisu, but I had made mine in a cup. Yours is 100% authentic. Thank you!
I made this today! It turned out well and so easy to make!. I was making this to pair with spaghetti so I used the simmering water to make the custard! Saved me some time while I waited to the water to boil! Thanks Chef John!
7+3 10 was the way I can do this and it will not work out so much that I’m going back and forth and to do things that work and do it and then go to get my brother brother to do the work he will do that he can get me to work tomorrow so he will get to use the same thing as soon
I was worried that you weren't going to say your usually Valentines Day saying, but then towards the end you said it and then I was happy :) You're like the best chef ever with your corny puns and amazing food!!!
I'm italian and i sometimes watch people from other countries have a try at our recipes, just for the pleasure of correcting them, you, sir, have denied me that pleasure. Authentic italian recipe right there!
Tried this yesterday and got to try one today and it's absolutely delicious! Thanks Chef John for this simple but delicious recipe! Will definitely make these again soon
I tried many recipes. This is the best. Some contain cream, but the mascarpone is already fat and milky on its own. The whipping of the eggs definitely does the trick here, meaning it gives the tiramisu some body, some stiffness. Thanks Chef John.
Is it just me? Isn't it a little thrilling every time we get to see inside the chef's fridge? Nice. This dessert? No words. I can NOT imagine someone making it for ME from scratch even? So Wow.
Not sure which is better getting an awesome recipe or having you execute the recipe!!! You making learning a recipe extremely fun!!! You rock!!! Keep the recipes coming!!! TY
As always, it looks fantastic, chef. For those who are not comfortable using eggs in the recipe, you can substitute it with whipping cream. Whip the cream to the consistency you'd like the final product to be (stiff or runny). And simply add it to the mascarpone cheese and the rest of the ingredients. I think the alcohol can be omitted. If you like to add a depth of flavor to this simple recipe, add a little bit of honey and use brown sugar along with the white sugar. You can even use some orange juice and zest. It's delicious. :-]
TheKaffeeKlatsch I haven't had Milanos in a long time, so maybe I'm not remembering them correctly, but do you find that they are too soft for this? The point of using ladyfingers is because they're a dry cookie and will absorb the coffee mixture without becoming too soggy, so I'm thinking Chessman cookies might be better? *EDIT:* _Never mind. Looks like Milanos are indeed a biscuit type cookie. So thanks for the recommendation!_
i havn't actually seen your videos for too long, but already i hear myself saying Enjoy with you at the end ;-) you have such a nice voice, and i have been more eager to try cooking and doing new stuff! thanks :-)
Bob From Accounting : yea. I usually like to snack during the loving, too. But that's usually because the snack is more interesting. Sometimes it's because I get hungry during a long ride.
I use heavy whipped cream instead of egg whites to make it a sweeter dessert and thicker in general to cut. Both recipes are very good. :) And if you do not have access to lady fingers, butter pound cake pieces are a fantastic alternative.
I don't drink coffee or eat cheese and eggs. Can I use spaghetti and meat balls instead? Cooking is so difficult and I'm so incredibly helpless and silly!
