I just came back from Lagos last Sunday. I was staying at an Air BnB in Lekke. My wife and I usually stay at that Air BnB because it's very quiet. But this time, there were many young men renting apartments, driving Mecedes Benz or BMW cars. They all had 1 female to 2 men renting rooms. I love it so much when the victims say things like, "We immediately hit it off !" Sure dude, your Nigerian boyfriends are very charming. Of course you hit it off !
Yeah, that was an oddly aggressive and rude reaction. Most people would be taken aback and just deny it if they weren’t involved. Maybe upset that their dead parent’s name was being used, but not that angry.
That's just ignorance. Women of her age see everything online as a threat and feel the need to be overly defensive about it to show that they won't be fooled and you can't mess with them. It's fear packaged as confidence / being assertive.

Imagine avoiding dating or perusing a in person relationship for 6 years in hope of this working out. Now you’re 6 years older and have missed so many opportunities.
Imagine getting informed that you're a victim of identity theft and just not giving a shit. Your name is attached to a person committing crimes, Darlene. You should be grateful to them for informing you.
So, that phone number was Darlene's mother's number... and Darlene was quick to call YOU a scammer. Obviously, Dar's mom was the victim of a scam, and that's how they got her number, right ?
