Why don't these women ever ask themselves how this man managed to become a millionaire yet SUDDENLY as soon as he meets her, he can't even feed himself??
Makes it all the more worse. These women had these nice husbands who left them with all this money after they passed, only for it to spent on a con artist. To lower your standards to that degree is just sad & baffling.
"Good morning MY QUEEN. I love you. Did you eat today? I am a wealthy Swiss banker/ entrepreneur/ oil rig worker/ doctor/ soldier and I need you to send these gold bars to Nigeri...ah...uh...I mean France. I love you please."🤣🤣🤔🤔
These stories are so outrageous. At this point, I feel like scammers could get away with saying they are astronauts stuck on the moon and need money to afford their wi-fi, food, and fuel. Then they can come up with the excuse that a meteor struck the ship and need more money to get back to Earth. 😂
Yeah, that's understandable. But then again, she doesn't know any better. She's an elderly woman who has been sheltered all her life. She even said she's just a simple country girl. Hell, she didn't even know what a passport was for! I'm all for people being responsible for their choices, and she is definitely responsible for her own naivete. But she was still targeted and preyed upon, and I can't help but to feel really bad for this lady.
I feel sorry for her daughter … she is going to get a major slap in the face when she finds out what her mom foolishly fell for! Also her husband must be spinning in his grave! All that money he left her… damn
How can that be, he and I talk everyday & he hasn't mentioned you, probably because he's been sidetracked lately with his bank accounts being frozen & needing my help!
@@MiguelDLewis The saying "fly you out" is very common in Australia along with several other countries. I have not heard anyone from an African country use it myself, but that doesn't mean they don't.
@@MiguelDLewis Ohhh no, "flewed out"??? Really? That's so bad, but just as bad as "I axed you a pacific question" I guess. The English language needs to file a class action! lol
If the house needs "someone else" in it, get a cat or dog. They give you a reason to get up in the morning, a responsibilty for their care, love and affection, and with a dog, plenty of exercise. Unfortunately, conversations are one-sided, but animals are great listeners! Pet ownership can be expensive, but it is money better spent than frittering it away to scammers.
Exactly, especially a shelter animal or senior pet that lost a caregiver. I love my peace and quiet… I hope to go before my husband does because I can’t stand to live without him, but tbh like I said I love my peace and quiet. When he was home from work for extended time after our baby was born recently, I realized how much I need time to myself 😂 If I end up a widow God forbid, I might get another cat, but best believe I’m not inviting anyone to ruin my peace and quiet, scammer or not 😂😂
I can say from experience that the difference between being alone and having a cat is VAST. A cat is quiet and calm but very much present. Edit: just realized my thumbnail is a cat. That cat was my best friend and for a long time it was just she and I in the house and it was jim dandy
Anybody can go through a hard time, but, not from owning a private jet to needing money to eat. 😝😝 My husband was in a rough spot when we met, but, his issue was lack of opportunity rather than greed, laziness, or deceptive manipulation. That was something easily remedied. 😉🥰

The husbands who left enough money for their wives must be rolling in their graves to think that their wives are giving the money away. You can not blame the children for being angry. It is not money but more you threw away dad's hard earned money. This woman will fall for a scam again.
I think a lot of the people who fall for these scammers have a lot in common with drug addicts. But these people are hooked on the idea of being in love and can’t see (or don’t want to see) what is really going on.

My age is on my profile. And I have never been so popular as I suddenly have become! Not even in my youth! 😂 Well, I talk with them for a little while if I am in the right mood, but since I know everything about " oil rig, Yemen, babe, queen " and rest of the bullshit, and - also have no money to get rid of - I am good, thank you. I am not saying this to brag about being oh, so clever - not at all. 14 years ago I was contacted on Facebook - a man who was attractive and stuff, and I had no clue he wasn't real. We never came to the money -thing, though. I told a friend of mine - she is ten years younger than me - and she went thumbs down immediately. Thank you, dear! Through the years I have spent so much time on youtube, and I still do. So, instead of telling old folks to get off internet, I say the opposite: Go on line, you learn A LOT about whatever you want. Like how a scammer acts... And sooo much more about the society we have today. Enjoy! 😊😊😊
Well yeah, I live in the middle of the countryside and have no mobile signal, gotta pay loads for decent internet. He's not blocked by trees and hills.
Imagine working your whole life so you could leave your wife with some money and a home before you die, only for her to give it all away to a scammer on the internet? What a disgrace!
She was self-employed she was a seamstress for 25 years. He was very ill for many years and she had her shop in her home. What a fantastic idea, she could work and take care of her husband. That's true love.
@@elipotter369 Seems like it. This woman even said she doesn't care about money... Though, it was probably all the money her husband worked so hard for all his life. Sad to think about.
True, but stop saying the husband worked hard and she is giving all HIS money away. He probably worked hard, but so did she. She was a seamstress for 25 years, might have been employed before that or at least raised the kids, kept the house... it's not like she did not work and only the husband did! When I was growing up, women used to say (and I still hear it), I don't work, forgetting to add 'outside the house'. Please be fair. And at the end she took care of him when he was sick. And believe me, that's a hell of a 'job'. I did it. Whoever has done it, knows. So it's her money, just sad she is so gullible.
Well what could she realistically do? Pay someone to find him and bump him off? That's a non-starter because she's almost broke......and I don't think the Mafia take IOU's.
Meanwhile she's probably never left her home state! Typical for this channel. Out of shape people on here want an Adonis or a beauty queen. The unkept and less attractive want a 10 on here and lunch ladies want movie stars. Bizarre
No for real. Not even trying to be funny, but I think internet access and driving privileges should be limited when it comes to elderly people. Not taken away fully but heavily monitored. This is getting crazy.
@@jlapienkoNo, they get it. They end up understanding. But in the moment while it's being explained to them, it's just a difficult thing for them to wrap their minds around. They are trying to work out and process what they're being told, and sometimes that can be difficult for some people. Especially if they just don't have that much, or any, experience with this kind of thing. Like an elderly woman.
“I don’t understand why people do this” it’s really not that complicated. They can make more money in a month scamming you, then they can in an entire year working legit.
I'm sure it is all funded by ALL govts too. OR it would be stopped immediately. Someone has to pay for those buildings where all the kiosks are set up to talk this crap all day. Just another way for Govt's to steal back money.
@Liahs333I'm going to be honest that's no excuse. I'm originally from Appalachian near the border of West Virginia and I have some backward relatives who never made it out of Junior high School let alone high School. Half of them have never been out of the county they were born in! None of them were dumb enough to give away free money to a stranger online
Omg...the accent is so discernible. Boyfriend owns a private plane, yet needs money for fuel. Had it been me, I'd have played along and asked him to fill his ✈️ tank with sea water 😂 .
How do people fall for this? he talks with zero emotion, like he is reading off a script and is bored out of his mind. he also sounds like someone in his twenties not a 60 year old man and dont even get me started about his accent. Incredible
So many of these victims still feel as though it was a real relationship because they often want to “ask them why” or “tell them how angry they are” as if the scammer cares.
This is not about the scammers, but about the victim, it is part of the evolution process to confront and say what you feel, hear the truth, and then proceed
@@Cecylilithnope. She has no interest in confronting a Nigerian teen lol. She still hasn’t processed that the picture is not real….she wants to confront the man in the picture, as if he is the one scamming.
@meerkatreserve7543 scamfish could be done a better job telling her it's a west African speaking to her, scamming her of her life savings, telling her these ridiculous stories, and that her gullibility/vulnerability is their gain.
Yes! I can't understand how these victims always say that they just 'clicked' over the phone, and then the recording is them saying 'yes, my queen. I had good day. I come to you soon.' Like... clicked with what? The most generic sentences possible?
PLEASE, Scamfish, give us subtitles when these heavily accented African men are speaking on the phone. It's not very enjoyable to watch when we can only make out a word here and there.
Go ahead and book her another episode because she'll be scammed again. She cant wrap her head around the fact that the scam was never personal, it was just business as usual for him.
And/or who knows how many others like her he was cashing in on? It was never about her. This one was sadder to me than most because it feels like she legitimately had no idea that anything about this scenario was even questionable. It seems like she's lived a pretty sheltered, honest, small-town country girl existence, so that's what she expected from everybody she encountered. Wouldn't it be great if, before getting internet access at all, people had to complete a course that educated them about the prospects & dangers of online/romance scams and how to recognize them?
They never do. They bank on the fact that their explanation that their mother was Dutch and his father was Italian etc and that he was brought up in Norway will explain the accent, either that or they say they’ve travelled to lots of countries and picked up the local accents.
The dude straight up sounds like he's on his couch, playing xbox while talking on a headset to this woman. 😂 he sounds like he smokes some good w e e d 😅
I'm getting on a bit now nearly 56, I'll admit I'm kinda clueless in this new age (just ask my kids) But I have them these to ask, even if I wont like the answer. To give away funds that my chilren/grandchildren may need (fuel costs alone here in the UK are ridiculous) is just...well it defies any logic in me!
He apologized and moved on because he knows he’ll just contact her with a different fake profile. She still seems very open to online dating and the fact that she had that whole long conversation, it’s as if she was hoping he’d confess, apologize and they can continue.
I do not get it. The voice tells you already that this is not the guy in the picture, this heavy accent, young voice, why do people believe everything others are telling them?
@@snookems17 when I was in college the Nigerian foreign students were VERY insistent. They'd follow us around campus and try to get us to go out with them. @@SherryAnnOfTheWest I know, they are a pain in the butt. Same here in Austria. We have so many African migrants here and they always try to hit on you no matter what and believe me, there are lots of older women who fall for them so they can proudly say "I got me a young black guy", It is all about the size, if you know what I mean. They marry them, support them financially, and some even get beaten up by them, and cheated on, and after 3 years of marriage there comes the divorce, because by then they can get a permanent resident card, which is similar to the green card, and the women are left behind with a lot of debt.

100% My mom passed and my dad has tried online dating. He spoke to a woman for about month and the moment she asked for money he completely blocked her. It is sad that scammers go after widows and widowers so often. My dad keeps telling me that almost everyone he has spoken to turned out to be a scammer. Crazy to me. My dad is really good looking, is 63, but genuinely looks maybe 52. I told him that adding that he's a widower and willing to date ages 40-60 to his dating profile is what is bringing them in.
@@portialilyActually, the scammers now have the technology to fake video chats. I'm on the dating sites and I refuse to video chat. I insist on meeting in person first.
Someone should write a movie script about a handsome miner (who’s 64 but looks 44) on his private jet, taking a priceless stone to a collector when he becomes stranded on an unfriendly island with no one but his long-distance love to save him with her social security check and home equity. But this time they live happily ever after.
It has occurred to me to wonder whether there is actually a legitimate decent single guy on an oil rig somewhere who is looking for love and gets rejected by sensible women immediately because they think he must be a scammer.
Priscilla: Go out and get yourself a decent haircut and treat yourself to a new lipstick. Then get yourself out into the real world. Become involved with meeting real people at your church, and the local coffee shop. Volunteer for projects, start talking to people, and help out. You'll soon meet nice genuine friends who want you for who you are and not for what you have in the bank. Never, ever give money to people you haven't met in the real world. Good luck.
And work on learning to love herself then she wouldnt need to have someone telling her how beautiful she is and calling her 'queen'. If she met someone genuine then it would be a bonus. Anyone with self-esteem doesnt need someone telling them all that rubbish.
A narcissistic mother who only cares about how much she has no consideration whatsoever for her children. The money may not mean anything to her but I bet it meant something to the dead husband and it means something for her children. Narcissistic parents like this who give it all away to someone who obviously doesn't need or deserve it and deprives their own children really make me sick. What a horrible thing to do to your own children.
She doesn’t owe her children anything it’s her money…well hold on. Are her kids taking care of her? Are they giving her emotional support/financial/labor/protection? Does she care for them and want to leave them something? Yes? So she DOES owe them at least as a stranger on the phone.
I travel for work and pleasure and have visited over 100 countries. I have visited technically advanced first world countries and third world countries and I have NEVER had the least bit of trouble accessing my money.
Someone I know was talking to a guy who worked in Alaska but had roots in Texas. But he was Swedish. There was a cheque sent but the bank would not cash it he got pissed and I guess moved on
He’s an international jet setting businessman but has no access to his own money when abroad unfortunately. It’s mind boggling how people continue to fall for it m, no questions asked.
Sadly she's probably moved on to the next one now. He's also a widower but he's in the Army. He just needs some money to pay the Army so he can quit, and come home to her
Lady, just block him! That's all you need to do. There is absolutely NO point having a conversation with a scammer telling him he's been exposed. Don't you understand, this is his job. He is a salesman. Getting a confession achieves nothing. A liar, is a liar is a liar!

How is it that these women professed their late husbands were the love of their lives, yet they so easily latch on to another man and betrayed their late husbands' memories?
The same way so many of the old men on these are cheating on the women they supposedly love with young, rich models that they send all their money to. 😂 They're all idiots!
Exactly! I lost my husband and it shattered me. I'm ok now, and have made a good life for myself. But another man? Not on your life. My husband was the love of my life. I enjoy living alone, I'm not lonely, I was an only child and learned to enjoy my own company as a kid. I see my children and grandchildren and have some very old friends who I'm still in touch with. Life is just fine. Why these women have the need to replace a husband they supposedly loved is beyond my compression.
What is sad is the eventual realization by the victim that everything he says is "scripted", and that to him, her conversations are just "babble" that he has to put up with.
I think these scammers feel they’re providing a service to the “client” and they work hard for them, listening to them for hours on end. I’m sure they feel they’re earning their money.
Maybe I'm still learning my own autism but isn't that just life in general with me and allistic people? They have to deal with my babbling but expect me to know their ever changing scripts without giving me one to reference to begin with. And they're usually lying and faking and tricking and not feeling bad at all.
I don't know why I continue to watch these videoas.... they stress me out so much. I just can't muster any sympathy for these 'victims' anymore, its completely ridiculous. It hurts 😢😢
Looking for someone “to make her happy?” At her age of 69, doesn’t she should realise by now that happiness comes from within, and life is too short having to wait for someone to make her happy??
Wrong, it's societal brainwashing. We're programmed from a young age that in order for our life to have meaning and purpose we must find someone to love us. Disney movies, cartoons, family shows/movies, religious groups, etc. Tons of brainwashing. We inevitably associate self worth with finding someone to validate our worth. We don't need to be in a relationship in order to find meaning in life. Plenty of hobbies, goals, organizations to give our time and efforts, children in foster homes, animals in shelters. That's fulfillment
Right, sounds like a trouble maker from the start.. But some ppl love to feel needed, to feel like the ones helping/saving others from bad situations without being aware of it. They often get into rs where they are taken advantage of for that reason. No end with the „helping“ and when the person can‘t help anymore and the „partner“ is moving on to the next victim, a world crashes…

Scammers don’t know US naming conventions, so they use two first names (e.g. William Andrew, Mark Robert), or two nicknames (e.g. Ricky Bobby, Nick Willy), or two surnames (e.g. Hansen Armstrong, Davis Robinson).
Whenever I watch these, I just think of the dead husband who worked his entire life to leave something for his family. And it all gets blown real quick by the no-brain widow wife
Priscilla - if you ever read this, PLEASE be careful !!! What I would be concerned about is if this same scammer creates a new account and starts another relationship with you as someone else. He knows all your likes, dislikes, hopes, dreams etc etc.
These people should really be advised to delete their Facebook and social media as it will be infested with other scammers and/or hacked. Just delete it and put up an anonymous profile with a generic pseudonym for a while eg ur great great Granny's name, just to keep in touch with family and friends ONLY. In this case it sounds like there could have been money laundering involved as she describes sending money to a third party in Florida to send to him? So she needs to go to police and wipe EVERYTHING and start afresh with social media, bank accounts, social security number..
The thing that they all mostly have in common is keeping it a secret from family and friends so they are all somewhat aware that what they are doing is wrong. Yet they still do it. Loneliness certainly trumps brains on the HOPE they are real.
@@whiskers78753eh marriage doesn’t really work like that. A lot of women quit their jobs to raise the kids (mine did). So yes the income we have is from my salary but it’s an agreement we have as a partnership is that the money is for our family unit, it isn’t just my money.
I’ve been by myself for over 30 years and my life couldn’t be better. I’m too selfish to have a partner. I do not get lonely. I have pets who I love and enjoy their company more than any person. I’m quite content! I don’t understand women who just can’t live without a man..
Yeah, I actually enjoy living alone. I can please myself what I do and when I do it. I don't want a man in my life...been there done that. My husband was wonderful, but I'm certainly not looking for another one!
Been divorced twice, and am very happy with my pets you really do get more joy from them than you do with people. It's better to be alone than in a crappy relationship. Nobody believes me when I say I'm not interested in meeting anyone.
I’ve never been married, my fiancé passed when I was in my late 20’s and I’m now mid 50’s. Marriage never felt right after my loss, but I’ll never regret not getting married to someone else. I’ve been alone but never lonely. Friends, activities I love…I think I’ve had a great life on my own. What’s so scary about being alone?

If the house needs "someone else" in it, get a cat or dog. They give you a reason to get up in the morning, a responsibilty for their care, love and affection, and with a dog, plenty of exercise. Unfortunately, conversations are one-sided, but animals are great listeners! Pet ownership can be expensive, but it is money better spent than frittering it away to scammers.

Cat or dog will never steal from you. They only steal your love.
I can say from experience that the difference between being alone and having a cat is VAST. A cat is quiet and calm but very much present.

I always find these Nigerian scams funny as they all talk of huge amounts of money or/and gold.
Hes such a smooth talker. 😅. Can barely understand him. Truthfully, he sounds like a young Nigerian kid.
He cannot even lie smoothly.
"I had no clue where he was from or what nationality he was" - well..... I think we can help you there madam......
Yes, she did seem clueless when it came anywhere near the obvious.
How could she have been in a years-long "serious" relationship with someone and not have asked him for such basic information???
What is sad is the eventual realization by the victim that everything he says is "scripted", and that to him, her conversations are just "babble" that he has to put up with.
Ouch😂 but true
The scammer pats himself on the back for giving her a skip in her step. lol
Some victims never come to that realization.
It's just human nature to want a partner in life...❤
Amen to that! No one can make another “happy”. Disturbing at 69.😮😮😮
Right… that’s really sad
Wrong, it's societal brainwashing. We're programmed from a young age that in order for our life to have meaning and purpose we must find someone to love us. Disney movies, cartoons, family shows/movies, religious groups, etc. Tons of brainwashing. We inevitably associate self worth with finding someone to validate our worth. We don't need to be in a relationship in order to find meaning in life. Plenty of hobbies, goals, organizations to give our time and efforts, children in foster homes, animals in shelters. That's fulfillment
They miss the feeling of being desired. They become so lonely, they become desperate and will believe the scammer.
Oh baby!! I promise you wealth and status, but i need money to fuel my plane first... how is that even believable or attractive?
😂😂😂😂
Right, sounds like a trouble maker from the start.. But some ppl love to feel needed, to feel like the ones helping/saving others from bad situations without being aware of it. They often get into rs where they are taken advantage of for that reason. No end with the „helping“ and when the person can‘t help anymore and the „partner“ is moving on to the next victim, a world crashes…
@@877swissmiss can you send me money I need buy petrol to my jet, later when you send me 20k next month I send you 2kg gold bar or stone from my garden 😂😂😂
It's not at all
how about money for your food? i really want to send you an apple gift card my "KING" !!!🤣
Anyone with 2 first names..watch out!..got to give it to these scammers. Great stories! Romancing the stone!
Scammers don’t know US naming conventions, so they use two first names (e.g. William Andrew, Mark Robert), or two nicknames (e.g. Ricky Bobby, Nick Willy), or two surnames (e.g. Hansen Armstrong, Davis Robinson).
Or two last name
Yes a dead giveaway
i've had deeper conversations with the amazon delivery driver then these lot get
Right. Lol. 😂😂😂
"I like food."
"Wow, me too. Let's get married."
oh the desperation and stupidity, no words
Whenever I watch these, I just think of the dead husband who worked his entire life to leave something for his family. And it all gets blown real quick by the no-brain widow wife
She was thinking with her 😺
Yes Indeed
@@pqt112😅
Priscilla - if you ever read this, PLEASE be careful !!! What I would be concerned about is if this same scammer creates a new account and starts another relationship with you as someone else. He knows all your likes, dislikes, hopes, dreams etc etc.
Yes the scammer will definitely be back with another picture and try to scam her for more money
💯
That’s his ATM machine
Agree its not the end he'll be back.
The thing that they all mostly have in common is keeping it a secret from family and friends so they are all somewhat aware that what they are doing is wrong. Yet they still do it. Loneliness certainly trumps brains on the HOPE they are real.
It's not just loneliness though. It's greed, lust, and pride.
@@MiguelDLewis there's very few I've seen that didn't involve a major ego coming from the victim.
The other thing they usually have in common is that they usually give away other people’s money. In this case, the money the husband left her.
@@whiskers78753eh marriage doesn’t really work like that. A lot of women quit their jobs to raise the kids (mine did). So yes the income we have is from my salary but it’s an agreement we have as a partnership is that the money is for our family unit, it isn’t just my money.
Loneliness is a savage BEAST 💯💯
I’ve been by myself for over 30 years and my life couldn’t be better. I’m too selfish to have a partner. I do not get lonely. I have pets who I love and enjoy their company more than any person. I’m quite content! I don’t understand women who just can’t live without a man..
I know!
Yeah, I actually enjoy living alone. I can please myself what I do and when I do it. I don't want a man in my life...been there done that. I don't get lonely, I have some very old friends, and I enjoy their company, plus I see my children and grandchildren every month ...we don't live nearby...my life is fulfilled.
I’ve had a great, happy and independent life with lots of travel and a content lifestyle. I honestly don’t understand people not being able to live alone or be alone. I’ve been alone but never lonely. Friends, activities I love…I think I’ve had a great life on my own.
What’s so scary about being alone?
I hated the last segment where this lady talks in circles with the scammer until he gets bored and hangs up on her
I hate when ppl act like they are better for not being into makeup, jewelry, and fashion.
I do also.
I almost never wear make up but I have absolutely no problem with people who do. One reason why I don’t wear make up is because I never seem to be good at it.
I know! She thinks it’s a badge of honor.
Yes!! Not being into those things doesn't make you special lol
Exactly!!!! I just had a similar conversation with a friend regarding this.... It is almost as if It makes them a "better" person!
I feel like these people know logically, that person is a scammer. But their lonliness and emotions overtake their ability to see the big picture.
Sad for deceased husband and his kids…what a SPIT in the face!
I think it’s amazing how she spoke with this guy, over the phone, for hours on end and still did not clock the accent!
@@elipotter369 Yes! It is stunning, the lack of awareness.
The power of denial. We really don't yet understand the power of our own minds.
Man this is sad...it gets more depressing every week
Yes indeed.
I think I'm going to take a break for awhile.
you are right
I know. I'm tempted to stop watching because I feel so horrible for these people, I can't stand it.
I agree
@@SonjaElizabethTealsame here - it’s getting me down
Why does she mean she doesn’t understand why they do this? … for money…
There’s a special place in hell for these scammers.
Happiness comes from within.
If you don't have this, no one or nothing can provide it.
I'm happy and I conform that
Truth.
Completely agree.
Sell her house? 😮🤦🏽♀️
Lawd & here I am working this job everyday for what....😂
Lonely women and men should check out senior centers where they can meet others their age in person
And that is the thickest, heaviest, strongest and clearest West African accent I've heard of these shows..... AH NO, NOT THE "PRECIOUS" STONE AGAIN....🤔🤔
