Flight attendant here. Yes that is what we say to other FAs and pilots. It’s more of a curiosity to offer a full water bottle vs a small cup as flying can really dehydrate you. Normally we are not allowed to give those out but will definitely make an exception for crews, but yes it can also be used as “let me know if you need anything” 😉 for freebies. I also have that same under seat tote and it’s the best.
Nice tip! If you pack it right I could see this being a good use for the Travelpro under seat bag. Thanks for watching and dropping a thoughtful comment. 💪
I used the Travelpro 20 inch Maxlite 5 Softside 2 Wheel Carry on last March. That and my small backpack was it for a 3 week trip to Asia. I managed to do the entire trip carry-on only. The man at the check in counter for Singapore Airlines was shocked I got the Travelpro weight under 7 kg. The two wheels was a little awkward, but I managed. My backpack has never gone under the seat. I've always managed to get it into the overhead bin after everyone else has stowed their bags.
That’s a pro move! The Travelpro 20 inch Maxlite is a great bag. Three weeks in Asia and you kept the weight under 7kg. Nice 👍. Any packing tips? I always love learning new things from people who have done trips like yourself. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
I’m sure there’s a secret handshake. Does Travelpro luggage come with a decoder ring? FWIW, I hate hard sided luggage but I travel with a backpack so I don’t fit in with the crowd anyway.
@@JustBookedIt I’ve been using an Osprey Porter 30 for 8 years. Osprey no longer makes that model. It’s been replaced by the Sojourn Porter 30. I’m a minimalist when I travel so it suits my needs. Most people would want something bigger.
I travel with a Tatonka backpack and a soft sided two wheel cabin bag. I prefer two wheels as the bag is lighter. Also the Tatonka backpacks are very well designed. They have a potent on the top and you can put fragile things in it and also access that pocket when the pack is in the overhead locker.
Tatonka looks like they have some really high quality products. I have not used them before, but I will definitely look into this brand. Thanks a ton for sharing that. The travel backpack looks great! A well designed pack makes such a huge difference when you are in transit. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 🙌
I have seen them, but for the price I think it's unrealistic to believe it's better than any other luggage. I travel with a small carryon hardside to protect things and a small backpack that is mostly empty. I have to have legroom and if it's full I am very uncomfortable in that cheap seat!! After extensive travel I have found that I don't need to carry as much stuff as I used to. Even for long trips, three outfits and an extra pr of shoes is enough. what takes up room for me is the extras. Electronics and that type of thing.
I still like my backpack, just so comfortable and efficient to carry everything I need. I still go with the hard side carry on, I just do not pack anything in there I may need access to during my trip, all those items are in my backpack.
I understand that for sure. I love traveling with a good backpack. This duffel made me rethink things for shorter trips, but it is hard to beat the versatility that a travel backpack provides. Appreciate the comment and channel support! What brand is your go to travel backpack?
You guys are so much fun! Love your videos. :) I have a small TravelPro that I just love. It's 19", including the spinner wheels. It doesn't have as many exterior pockets as yours, but it's still an awesome bag. Sometimes I need something bigger though. I've been gifted with a 20" Level 8 Voyager bag (right??) and will be using it next month. Kind of excited about it, but will miss my small TP.
Thanks so much for the kind words! Really appreciate. 😁 A 19" TravelPro with the spinner wheels is a great travel bag. We have the Level 8 also. We enjoy using that one for longer trips. It has held up well for us. ✈️
I have a soft sided bag, that I checked. It could have been a carry-on, but I checked it anyway. Not the brand you're showing in the video, but a different one. It has a zipped pocket on the front. When I got it back, the pocket was ripped.
Dang! Thats a bummer. Sorry that happened to you. Getting a checked bag back damaged is the worst. You can file a claim with airlines if you have a picture of the bag in good shape before the flight! ✈️
The TravelPro used for an Emergency medical kit has to be an original idea. Thats a great use for that style of bag. Thanks for being a part of our travel community. ✈️
Yeah it is always best if you pack light and get your bag in the overhead bin, I agree. Hardly enough leg room as it is. Thanks for watching and commenting Gareth!

Travelpro Under Seat Bag - makes a great foot stool
I pull mine out after takeoff and place my feet (no shoes) on the bag.
Great sleeping position!

If they showed me the handshake that would of been some great content! I hear ya. Nothing like a great travel backpack. Which one do you use?

I use my underseat bag as a foot rest on long haul flights... 😊
Love my TravelPro it’s an awesome product. Wish I could get ahold of “crew” bag…but I’m happy for now.
Thanks for commenting! Yup, we loved using the TravelPro also. Do you have the two wheel or four wheel option?
@@JustBookedIt two rollerboard. Don’t care for 4

The zipper on my TravelPro broke the first time I used it. Not sure about the hype.
I hate putting things under the seat in front of me , especially on long flights , takes away my legroom , i suppose for a short hour flight it is ok
