These videos are phenomenal, they have helped me so much as a beginner singer. The explanations and advice are excellent, and have helped me so much as a vocalist. I always recommend these videos to other singers I know. This man is a great teacher.
It definitely worked for me. Another one you can try is called the "Faranelli Excercise". That one helped me the most (but it's mostly similar to this one)@@sanjeevbalhara9954
Excellent! So happy I've come across this video from a real professional! I'm definitely going to stick to it to give me more voice support when singing long sentences in one breath!
What year is this from? She’s adorable and I love her big 80’s hair! All great information, but I’ve never liked how abstract some aspects of singing are.
Sanjeev Balhara yes. I’d say it works for that power you need to sing powerful. The “s” hold that most singing teachers teach would be for endurance and this would be for power
Books and studies with great singers to name someone Maestro N Gedda in Sweden ! This is Easy to test, breathe in and abdomen goes inward rather than outward and fill the back with air and then rest exhale on diaphragm, now im No teacher like you, but ask for sources is strange, you shoud know one can think. Also have comments or question about how to show the exhale but maybe someone else I think Michael Trimble has videos about this even what i say, you can watch o form your own opinion right !! As Said No teacher Apologize for ” trust him at all ” Peppe
Gloria Terry Sometimes it can ache in the beginning because you are not use to using those muscles. Try working your way up to longer sessions of breathing exercises, but begin slowly to build up muscle strength.
This exhaling with the coin idea is bad. It will collapse the stomach fast and make you lose your breath very fast. Especially for beginners, this visualization is bad. You need to maintain expansion of the stomach to maintain support and pace breath.
from time 00:24 of this video, he mentioned that you are not going to be using this when you sing.. only during exercise to strengthen the abdominal muscles.
It's more than beautiful! Even after all these years. Watching countless BS on TH-cam Thank God for these videos!

+christalazar , I believe that's why he said it was only a muscle strengthening exercise and not to be used while singing.
christalazar , This is only to strengthen the ab muscles used for singing, not what should be done during the act of singing.
no you keep expansion of the chest at the same size to have a loud chest voice or to even sustain notes... while tummy and diaphragm move.
No the great singer dont Breath like that n abdomen go in !!! not out when filling in air
So Why trust him at all
