  • Hey everyone! in today's video, I'm going to be trying something new. I wanted to try my hand at making a history video about one of my favorite consoles to challenge my editing a bit more. I put a lot of time into this video so I hope you all enjoy the content while learning some interesting things about the Nintendo 64's history.

Quake 2 was one of the best usages of the expansion pak in a non-requirement game. Better textures, FPS, and it makes 4 player split screen actually playable

Hey, nice video. I just want to add more information about the PlayStation sells numbers. 102 millions is for the total sells at the march 2006, so way after the life of the n64 (and Sega Saturn + Dreamcast).
In 2000, before the release of the PS ONE, the original PlayStation sold nearly 74 millions home console, wich is still a huge number.
So we're more about a ration of 1 n64 for 2 Ps1, even through than the PlayStation have 1 and a half year of advance.
In fact, the N64 sold nearly the same numbers of unit than the SNES on the US and Euro Market, it's only for the Japanese market than the n64 sold poorly.
PS : More impressive for the OG PlayStation, the psone sold more unit than the Xbox and GameCube during the same among of time, 28 millions unit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa… Bomberman 64 OST SLAPS it just slaps different now bomberman hero only has Redial going for it and ima be honest I think the gameplay and art direction for bomberman 64 hits way harder than hero.
With that said I can’t believe you don’t have more views this is amazing love these kind of videos.

When you bought a memory card and game the ps1 ended up being the same price as the Saturn, and the n64 controller is a 6 button snes controller with an analog attachment. It's the most comfortable controller ever made for 2D games

heeeey. I just bought a "stupid wormlight" a few weeks ago for my GB Pocket, which I've had for decades, and just started playing on again... and I love the wormlight (yes, I know backlit screen mods exist, I have a GB Pocket modded like that, but my original one, the way it was back then, still has that special something) :))))

Why does no one understand the 3 prongs on the controllers simply provide more options? Some games work with either the d-pad and L button, or the joystick and Z button. A few games play best with hands on the left and middle prongs, though the only ones I can think of are Robotron 64, and a Japanese game that doesn't have a fan translation and I don't remember the name of

0:28 - One mistake in this video.
"For Europe, Australia and France", France is actually in Europe itself.
