It’s impressive that Gold Saucer did not take down Jessie’s photos and her theatrical works because isn’t it already public that she is part of the Avalanche?
I'm not sure it's known that far away from Midgar that she is and even it if was, Dio may not have cared since he likely has enough power to keep things at the Gold Saucer however he wants and wouldn't have wanted to dishonor one of his star performers.

I reached the Corel story part and after the shooting incident in which Cloud proved that Barett is not the prepetrator, Dio said he doesn’t care about what happened in Midgar so he is implying that he doesn’t care that Cloud and the gang are Avalanche as they are still his GC guests.

The part where Tifa and Cloud mourns the loss of Jessie was the ultimate gut punch. One of the most emotional moments in Rebirth.

With all the "timelines" stuff i really dont know anymore 😅 i mean at least right now the 3 are death and aerith to... they need to be revived in the next games but how? I have some teories but until the game comes out who knows.
@@Leon-Belmont In one timeline she is alive, in another she is dead, but here it is confirmed that Wedge died after disappearing in part 1 and it seems that the person who saves Biggs was Jessie? for the gauntlet at the end of the credits of part 1
@@kaellagos5895 Cloud and the others only think she's dead, but if she's not, they have no way of knowing at this point, so that's why they talk and act like she's dead. They simply don't know any differently yet. She could very well return alive and well in the third game.

Agreed. She was a scene stealer.
Even with new characters. They did a fantastic job making likeable characters, even if they're just "filler" ones. All characters matters in the story, and the important are, the more they do.

After this scene, i found myself looking back at all Jessie's cutscenes on TH-cam....
and man... the more i look at her, the prettier she gets~ the glint in her eyes, the smiles, the quirk-iness... truly an angel~

@@edkcorner4036 Also, it doesn't seem to have been explained yet how Jessie's glove and headband got on Biggs' dresser. She might very well have left them there herself after being saved much like he was and then helping him.

Feels like Aerith has the dead for companions the whole time, via connection to the livestream. She seems to be having a three person conversation for this part.
I always loved how they handled the Barret "romance" if you decide to go with him. They remain in character. Unlike Baulder's gate 3 where everyone and everything is bangable.

I will give the game kudos for Showing Jessie in a recorded play…very reminiscent of when you look at old videos of people who have passed but seeing them in a recorded video can hit you.
@@bradhorowitz2765 When Cloud and his group arrive with the sheriff, the sheriff has a wanted poster and they all come out alive and in another timeline they all come out dead including Tifa and Barret, except Bigg,
@@bradhorowitz2765 It is also worth mentioning that Cloud's group never returned to sector 7 after its destruction, they only know what they experienced at that moment.
Her body was most likley crushed under the sector 7 plate and thus her status is seens as alive on the posters because they don't know were she is.. in Remake Reeve mentions that Sector 7 had 50k people living there (not sure if they meant both the above the plate and below or just below though).
While Avalanche mounts an evacuation, thousands or even tens of thousands must have still died.....
@@Mukation Bigg, survived thanks to someone helping him, they don't mention who it was, and we still don't know who put his glove on the table, the most curious thing is that Jess never auditioned for the play, since her father was sick, and if she comes back For the third part, I hope she doesn't end up like Bigg and Wedge, with those ridiculous deaths or that she doesn't act like Cloud's group, like idiots.

There's really not much to go off of with that. She encountered her briefly, only sharing a couple words. Nothing too memorable for Yuffie to recount, or really regard when she's dismissed by Jessie.
It only 1 match, Jessie is just a random girl to Yuffie, She even didn't mention Kyrie she met at fort condor as well, Heck I beat all the blood queen player and i sure as heck don't remember everybody 🤷🏻♂️

Aerith talking here is as if she were talking to Jessie herself. Cloud doesn't think of Jessie as gf but she was definitely (or at least pretending to be) thirsty for him, but Aerith doesn't know any of that and Cloud was also giving no such vibe. And add to it that Aerith can somewhat talk to the dead.
This kinda suggests that Jessie is actually dead and just talked to her from life stream.
But hey, it's just a theory, A GAME THEORY.
Yes, Jessie was 100% interested in Cloud.... maybe not as a "love of her life" kind of interest, qbut she definatly saw a guy she liked and pursued him without hesitation. But Cloud makes a clear rejection of Jessie's advances, he was not interested in her romantically. So from his POV she was just a friend.
Aeriths comments are two-fold.... She is also reffering to _herself_ and Cloud, since she is interested in him. Which Cloud seems to be quite clueless about (or rather atleast non-responsive to, most of the time). So she means that given how clueless he seems to be about her intentions, he may very well have been equally clueless about Jessies.
Don't really think she was talking to Jessie's ghost, but rather just making a fun comment when she looked at the painting to to get affirmation that Cloud is "dense".

Could just be a theory, but I get the impression that Aerith was also listening to Jessie's spirit, as though she was communicating with Aerith from the lifestream, and telling Aerith how she actually felt about Cloud.

No, but you can replay the chapter and tweak who you're getting in the bonus section.

Well, it looks like Aerith just confirmed that Cloud was indeed attracted to Jessie after all, he just didn't know it. Gotta trust that Cetra perceptiveness, hehe. Anyway, none of this proves Jessie's dead, only that Cloud and the others think she is. But there's a huge difference between perception and reality, and if she IS alive, they wouldn't be aware of it at this point and so would talk and act as if she's dead, as they do here. And it's a nice touch that Jessie's prince in the play looks a lot like Cloud, just with flat hair instead of spikes.
As for Wedge, I don't see his "death" as having been confirmed anywhere. In Remake, none of the group saw his supposed fall because they were busy trying to escape, and the building was so surrounded by whispers there was no way they could've seen anything anyway, and they openly wonder if he'd be able to get out. They wouldn't have done that if they'd seen him die. SE doesn't seem to be paying attention to its own games and continuity.
This game has a cutscene showing Wedge hitting the ground and splash sound along with blood on the surface. Pretty sure he's dead.
@@JRPGLOVER This Wedge, yes. But Sephiroth confirmed the existence of the multiverse. So SE could very well bring in his living counterpart from another timeline in Part 3 along with those of Jessie and Biggs (though their main versions could still be alive, Cloud and the others just don't know it yet). Also, people IRL have survived falls from higher up than Wedge was (WWII pilot Alan Magee, for example, fell 20,000 feet and lived) so there's a slim chance Wedge survived but was knocked into a coma, and Polk woudn't have known that.
No, Aeriths comment was simply her telling Cloud that he is dense and doesn't realise (or atleast does not act upon) the fact that _she_ is clearly _interested_ in him romantically. And given that he called Jessie a _friend_ she makes the assumption that maybe she wanted more from Cloud than just friendship aswell.
She is 100% talking about Cloud not seeing the signs she is throwing at him.... Even at that very moment.... Arguably he doesn't even realise that she _likes_ him until she spells it out for him at the church at the end of Remake.
@@Mukation No, that's just Clerith bias talking. Aerith was talking about Jessie and only Jessie, not herself. And hinting at the fact that Cloud was more interested in Jessie than he realized - Rebirth does confirm that he agreed to have that pizza date with her, and a guy doesn't typically go on a date with a girl he isn't at least somewhat interested in.
And why would Aerith tell Cloud about her own feelings just as she's about to die? It makes no sense whatsoever. Just like the rest of Rebirth and SE lying to everyone for four years about Jessie, Biggs & Wedge by purposely encouraging theories of the trio's survival that they knew seemingly wouldn't be fulfilled. A lie of omission. Though even now there's still room for them to come back alive, even Wedge.
They could have him knocked into a coma instead of killed, and Nayo's group wouldn't have known the difference just by seeing him fall. After all, if Corneo could somehow survive a fall off a mountain in the original timeline and Cloud could survive a thousand foot fall to the slums, then Wedge should be able to survive the much shorter fall off the Shinra Building.

Depends on who you get the date with. Tifa, Aerith, Yuffie, Barret, Red and Cait sith(along with Cid and Vincent) are all date options, depending on who you bond best with through the game.

Not necessarily true. Her body hasn't been shown yet. And in the wanted posters outside Midgar, she's listed as alive. There's also the multiple timelines as well. We're sure to see her again in Part 3, possibly even alive and well.
