The Z'gok mode looks cool when transform. 😁😁
the Gundam that cosplays as a Z'Gok though it is more like a Z'Gok Experiment than the original Z'Gok due to having shoulder pads.
The Aesculapius was my only kit from the OG G-Unit line and I loved it despite its flaws, so naturally I was so excited when it was announced to be remastered (along with the rest of the mobile suits from that universe). I'm pretty stoked for the Hydra, hope it comes soon!

Man. I wanted to get this thing but before I could even get to check out it’s been sold out the moment the page got unlocked for our region…
I remember when this got announced, it was such a huge surprise to me! It instantly brought me back to the very first gunpla kit I got as a kid from a flea market back in 04'. For a long time I thought it was fake because I had never seen or heard of the Gundam before. Its fitting for a pbandai release though as its such a niche mobile suit. Kinda sad I couldnt pre order one at the time, so its on my bucket list

I’d love to see them take one more crack at the G-unit line as MG kits and just really nail the engineering on everything
Wish they implemented an AGE-2 style hollow chest to allow the head to just droop down instead of removing the head.
You can build a geminass version of this kit comes with all the parts needed to make the geminass backpack shoulders and head and actually like that form better

Could you do a fix video for this, I remember there was fix/mod for the claw connection doing away with the wire and using the ball joints from weapon/parts sets and maybe a mod for widening the head

HG Hydra Gundam
The rifle rack on the back really should have its own motion point.
If I remember right, they're stored higher up, but it drops down to let them be retrieved. Normally the rack would be behind the rest of the backpack/thrusters.
But I'm getting more and more annoyed with the P-Bandai After Colony stuff...the upgraded gundams from the series, other than Wing Zero, are P-Bandai and a pain to find/expensive despite being things that people would want to have. Mercurius and Vaeyate, probably, should have been normal releases with the upgraded version as P-Bandai since they're less well known. We still don't have a good HG Tallgeese from the series and I'm half expecting Epyon to be a repeat of a far more complex, non series version as a RG that doesn't match up with the rest of the collection if not P-Bandai.
This design actually look hard to pull off
the new one is re-designed by astray designer Junichi Akutsu (BEE-CRAFT) iirc....and I can see that in the kit
I definitely was thinking the head looked like an Astray!!
All the G unit design are designed by Junichi Akutsu back in 90's tho

i do think the old head is….significantly better. IDK, something about the thiccness and wide aspect of it just click far better than the new design
And appearance wise, the Close Combat mode of the old version is better, no doubt
Huge upgrade but feels like ... need a RG or MG version of it.
Old Aescy feels like an evil Optimus Prime. Perhaps if you panel line the face, new Aescy would better give the Gundam feels?
