Y'know, when it comes ti gunpla reviews most people would instantly turn to mechagaikotsu, and ofc i don't blame'em and i watch him alot more than i do on this channel, when i just want to watch something chill, this channel is the instant and immediate one that comes to my mind
Dont see a comment that says this, but in gwitch, green beams are training beams, so lower powered, and blue beams are for combat, SPOILER FOR LAST EPISODE OF SEASON 1 ((that's why in the end of the last season, everyone was suprised that the aeriels beam did so much damage even though it was green))
It's pretty ridiculous what level of quality we're getting in HG these days, the WFM kits are just so reliably good. I think it's going to go down as an all-time great sub-line for HG
I always love the Lfrith so seeing different variations of Lfriths including this one, I want to make into my custom color scheme (Black) on any Lfriths I can get. And the Lfrith Ur is one of my favorite design along with the First Lfrith.
If Build Fighters/Divers is real, this will be my main base unit. My love for Virtue, Seravee and Raphael are all in this 1 kit. Chubby heavy looking gundams are the coolest for me. 😂
Both these kits have some wild color differences. Both UR and Thorn change colors depending on whether you're talking about the anime, the promotion, the actual kit under dim lighting or bright lighting....Ffs, I took my Thorn out into bright light last night and it looks purple...
from what I heard people compared the Lfrith Ur to the Seravee Gundam from 00 particularly the head design though the Lfrith Ur looks super jacked muscular while the Seravee is just super chubby.
Love the design but production colors are really disappointing. The early preview photos showcased more anime accurate ones. Oh well, good motivation to finally do a full paint job on a kit :D
WITCH from mercury line is pretty wicked (especially for the main character MS..not for the grunt kits) here in Malaysia 1. limited stock..you late, the item sold out 2. over price although it is from authorized bandai distributor shop
Can beams go in the barrel? I like this one better then the other, but I've never been fond of either, they kind of feel like they stuck a Gundam head on a different mechs body. I kept waiting for them to shed there armor in the show and see there real form while watching the show. LOL Wow love the double weapons. I might try to do the same, and i wasn't going to get this one at all, good job convincing me. LOL
Bandai is really on a roll with these Witch from Mercury kits. The FM Aerial is looking pretty good as well.
The Lfrith Ur to me is the love child of both the Seravee and Raphael Gundams. I like this design so much more than the protagonist mobile suit.

8:40 those thing on the shoulder aren't vernier, they are beam guns. In the second ep of SS2 Ur can be seen firing them

Double up it the way to go for this kit, now I have a extra body to customize too. This kit have unlimited potential for sure.

A really sharp overall design profile.
It never used the Phase Array Cannon.
Don't think we've seen this ms or its sister unit use those cannons as cannons 🤔 wonder if it's one of those animé vs kit discrepancy
Two of the Giant Gatling weapon kit would look real nice on this one.
My recommendation: Equip the Ur with the heavy gatling gun from Demi Trainer expasion set for the BFG vibe.
