Thank you for showing off the transformation sequence; it's gonna be a long while before we ever get a Master Grade Woundwort that will have a similar, if not identical mechanism, so, it's nice to see how it would actually look to handle.
I found it funny that this is the "Woundwort" but in the A.O.Z Reboot INLE - The Black Rabbit saw a Dream, the "Wondwart" is a stolen MS by MARS ReZeon and remake with a custom Antenna called "Psycho Blade" Dunno why they decided to call this Wondwart, but it's quite interesting
Btw if anyone is wondering, for the transformation the head can go down further into the.... thingy idfk what it's called so it is designed accurately.
I wasn't going to buy the woundwort, but this review is making me rethink it. The mobile armor mode looks pretty bad, but the MS mode looks great. Definitely the most unique MS I've seen, and that by itself makes it worth getting I think. Looks a lot better in a video than the product images, or maybe I just warmed up to it after seeing more about it. Anyway, thanks for making me want to spend more money lmao
@UC-RD Reviews Barely researched AOZ so I had to look that up. Kinda interesting but I think it looks busy on the HG. Will have to see how the MRS version looks I guess
@@beromane gundam can be like that sometimes. They throw really weird af stuff and the more you look at the design you're like, 'i kinda see what the designer is going for, and i low key dig it.' Well that's just me anyway.
I just got mine and I gotta say….you are one patient guy. There were several times I wanted to throw it at the wall because it was so frustrating to figure out how to get the base adapter on and also to attach the hand to the weapon and then to attach the weapon to the arm. No way would I even attempt to transform it. Lol I love the design, but like the model kit, I got it into a cool pose and I will never touch it again. This one is by far my least favorite Metal Robot Spirits fig. Do you have the MRS Epyon? Now THAT is a killer fig!
Great video. I've been watching a lot of your stuff as I get back into Robot spirits. As someone who knows much more about these than I do, does bandai ever make slight improvements to designs if they do re runs/ color changes? I am curious if they re release this with Titans colors if they may improve a few trouble spots? Same thought with the upcoming hazel
Yes the can. The GM Quel got re-released for example and got improved ankles. So I’ll compare and see what’s new with the Titans Colors Hazel. And perhaps one day a Titans Woundwart
@@UCRDReviews I hope they do a Titans color woundwort. I like the design, but it came out while I was out of the hobby. And good to know about the GM quel. I was looking at getting one, but saw some comments about the ankles on your video and held off. I think I may have asked you already, but are you into metal builds at all? I was excited about the kampfer but seeing how much p bandai USA jacked it up to, I just decided against it.
@@UCRDReviews I have to consider budget, but honestly I feel like space is even more of a concern, living in a small apt in the city. Especially with the armored core figs coming down the line, I know I'll want those.
Been a while but glad to see your reviews once more. Also, do you plan cover older non Version anime Robot Spirits suits? Been eyeing the old Stark Jegan and Exia but unsure about the build quality.
I cannot get the weapon attached to the arm as intended despite many attempts. When the shoulder part is plugged in, the hand will not line up with the handle. When I finely get the hand to hold it, it either pops the shoulder part off or the arm clip. Nothing lines up for me.
How did you get the stand adapter to stay put? once it's on my mobile suit and I put back in resting position or pose it the thing pops right off or if it's on and I place it on the stand the Gundam just falls off.
@@UCRDReviews thanks very much.. based on preview for option parts set soon to be announced, there is no head unit with pshyco blade, so i think im gonna make one myself. this info is really help!
I hate this mobile suit design. I find it ugly. It’s like a horrible MS-21C Dra-C but the difference being I want a MS-21C Dra-C because they have a beautiful cyclops design and stay true to the beauty of gundam. This is a greasy mark of broken sword. ..!!!!
There’s a soul here. Something written in pages which reflects a lost view and forgotten people tossed so far from the earth they lose sight of where they began. When I see a mobile suit like this I feel like anime today has lost sight. And it SICKENS me.
I’d rather have the gouf flight type 08th ms team robot spirits over the undersized msia big zam any day !!! There’s a zeonic soul to the the gouf flight 08th ms. Something further refined and in my opinion …. Perfected
I am just one of those minorities that will never get why people think Wondwart is 'cool'. Is it unique and different? Absolutely. Is it aesthetically pleasing to my eyes? Definitely not. I am not totally against the design language of AOZ (I quite like the Hazel Custom a lot without the cumbersome armor and weapon set shown in this video) but some of them are just purely gimmicky and ugly in my book.
I think the entire TR-6 line is beautiful in its own way. The emphasis on function over form really makes them look “futuristic” even in the context of gundam.
I think obviously the designer has a unique, very “busy” style to his MS because they just get bulkier and more complicated as they go through the development tree. But yeah, I like simplicity a bit more
@@Scro10m I agree. They seem to be based on more experimental, mechanical, modular designs which mirrors real life advancement in military tech. Weird af? Yes! But that's the charm imo. Especially how it doesn't conform to a generic gundam template just with stuff added to it. It feels like a brand new experimental mobile suit. However I respect blip blip opinions.
I had to use this video to figure out how to put the base adaptor in lol. Thanks :)
Haha that’s part of why I make these. I have to reference my own videos for all kinds of stuff

I guess they tried to retcon the spelling discrepancy by making it a totally different MS?

Yes I just didn’t want to risk breaking an antenna
@@UCRDReviews noted 👍
Since they showing advance of zeta some love I hope they do the hyzenthlay.
That would be very cool
WONDWART got me all wound up rn fr fr no cap 100%!

I don’t have Epyon or any of the Gundam Wing stuff but I’ve heard they’re all really solid figures

Can't wait for my two woundworts, want to have the option of having one in Rah form when the Hrududu 2 comes out.
I’m just gonna convert my regular one but that’s cool to have two!
I hope they make a version that has the psycho blade antenna
I imagine we’ll get support craft and option parts for this eventually

If I end up picking them up, I will. I used to have both of those. They were good figures but dated to some degree at this point
All the stark jegans i come across [new or otherwise] seem to easily get loose joints, i think it's due to the heaviness of the shoulders pods.
@@ashvu7867 I don’t remember mine being loose but I also didn’t have it for a very long time. That is a credible theory tho

The advance of zeta mobile suits are weird. It almost does not seem true that they are in the U.C. era. At least that is what it feels like to me.

The torso has to be bent far enough like I had mine to allow the stand piece to click in place and stay securely
@@UCRDReviews yeah I was so scared to break it but once I heard the click I was all good! thank for the advice! great video btw
Btw didn't they announce a ka signature Xi Gundam from the hathaway movie? Or is Google lying to me and those are just photos of the model kit?
They showed a prototype figure but never announced a release date
