Heavy with a heavy Bolger is just chef’s kiss. I can take the least damage, dish out the most damage and carry my lil brothers to the finish line. (Now I’m levelling up tactical, very fun to play)
Started with Bulwark, tactical is my 2nd build I'm working on rn. The guy I mostly play with was sniper and now is assault. One thing to note, I actually PARRY TOO SOON now. Like I tried to 1v1 a ravager and the little turd would start his attack chain with that long wind up animation. Bulwark has that half second block at the start of his parry with the shield added onto the parry so you gotta be fast to parry. But against some enemies I find I'm parrying too soon switching to tactical.
Say.. ever tried the second bolt rifle with the grenade launcher attachement ? ok i give you its trash when you start playing with it but when you reach purple quality it start to shine and when you reach golden quality by guy.. that grenade launcher 2 tap into finisher ANY majoris unite and you got 10shot with it at golden, mix it with the final perk in the 3rd row the one that you restore an entire magasine every 30sec by killing majoris , it restore all the grenade launcher ammo , if you add a good scan build ( i personnaly use the plus 8sec duration with the +100% damage but last 4s less wich with the first goes to 12sec and the + 75% damage in the final perk of 6th row ) with that you 1 tap into death the majoris , 1tap extremis into finisher (IN RUTHLESS difficulty ) and those terminus unite .. dead and gone with nad-launcher + scan.. with that kind of build and weapon you outshine the damage that heavy can do

I like being able to just exist and do a bit of everything. I normally just thin the herd and help my heavy get executions on the annoying big guys. Snipers and heavy make a great team up too.
Auspex Scan is a great ability. The increased damage is fine but the real power lies in the hidden mechanic of activating a pavlovian never-ending bloodlust in each and every one of your teammates.

Tactical is my main and I have really enjoyed this class. Me & my brother are playing together, with him being a multi-melta built heavy. I pop an auspex and he just melts everything in sight. It’s very dependent on how I manage close quarters fights. If I have an option, I’ll always try to bait in parrying attacks. Mixing those with displacing heavy attacks to get gun strikes can usually maintain a bare minimum amount of armor to keep going. Fighting a majoris is very dependent on the faction. I try to prioritize them and I’ll often turn my camera so I can see what’s behind me. That way you can parry mid fight when minoris jump at you.
