I haven't ever listened to a podcast. I need to start! I'm looking forward to seeing all your makes, also your cosy working from home wardrobe. Loving that C&A dress, too. Have a lovely time in Angelsey with Christine. I'm not jealous - much.

What a great vlog. Wish I had a project I was working on right now, because I would've worked on it alongside you. It was quite fun to listen to you talking through your decisions. I talk myself through things like that, too. Really appreciated the chat about Closet Core. I'm not in the market just yet to join the Crew, but I've been thinking about doing their class on learning to sew clothing, which comes with three basic patterns. I've seen that their patterns seem to be really popular, and it's nice to hear how good their instructions are. I think starting that is going to be my goal for March.
I've listened to a few episodes of the podcast, and it's really enjoyable. I'm glad to hear it's been going so well. 🙂

Hi Sam, I would love to see a tutorial on how you did those cute donut 🍩 pattern weights! I would love to cut out fabric for dresses and panties in a batch! I do have the zip bags for projects they are great!
I love the sound of sizzors cutting!😅
How often do you have your face to face sewing socials?

Blimey you've been busy!! some great patterns cut out there, I look forward to seeing them made up, especially the Judy as I'm really interested in that pattern and love their Dila which I wear loads. The Sandstone is almost finished, I had to wait ages for the notions... it's a fab jacket and the sewalong is so helpful. I'm sure you and Christine surely will be wearing back to back pogonips for your fab sounding trip!! 😂 I'm trying not to go back to the rag market, but let me know if you're stopping by anyway and I'm sure I could force myself to get on the train and join you for a couple of hours!!🤪

Hi Sam, I’m pretty sure I’ll be at Sewing for Pleasure on the Saturday so hopefully we’ll have a chance to catch up then. I’ve been watching you while ironing interfacing onto my pogonip! X

Two questions. Are you in your jammies and are you cutting on the floor, and you actually just answered my second question. I was surprised you didn't iron your pattern pieces to make them smooth. I've never listened to a podcast, will have to check it out. I used to cut on the floor. As a kid, my parents and sister quickly learned to walk around my cutting on no complaints. When i had my own family, hubbie and kids quickly learned the same. Unfortunately cats and dogs never understood the rules. I did move onto the dining table but so hard on the back. My kitchen island is the perfect height and size, but i hated clearing everything away when it was time to cook. Now, I use a foldable table that my husband added a stand with wheels for the legs. It's the perfect height and size. You are very busy. Going away with a friend for a sewing retreat sounds like fun. I wish having a pattern printed was more affordable here in Canada. So it's home printing, taping, and tracing for me.

Hi lol not my jammies but a joggers set I created that feel like my pyjamas. They're a brushed backed fleece love them. I tried cutting at my dining table and that hurt my back. No pets as other half is allergic. That's a shame about the printing costs. I can't bear sticking pdfs together.

Lovely chatty vlog and lots of information. I think your Hovea will be splendid. I’ve made two in short and midi length and I love them. For reference, I’m only 5 ft 2 and the midi is plenty long enough. Just got 3 months Apple TV with a purchase. I’m loving Slow Horses as I’ve just read the first book. The New Look does look good. Interesting to hear about the closest core crew membership.

Great vlog as always. It’s easier if you use a cool iron to fold the patterns to get them back in the envelope. Where do you get your project zip bags from I wonder? How lovely are you offering to meet your followers. I find myself waiting for your next vlog keep going ❤❤❤

Listened to the podcast this week. Excellent! Really love the lively, intelligent conversation. Just in the middle of the Poponip myself and I’ve don’t the welts. I was reasonably confident having done the Charlie Kaftan where you really have to be accurate. They have turned out well can’t wait to finish it but I keep getting interrupted by life. Welll done on all the cutting out!
BTW. Do you have a product code for the project bags you use. I?can’t find them on Amazon,
