I have R2000DB bought last year and R2750DB bought last week (Australia) and I love it! I may say I turned to be an Edifier fanboy right now. Highly recommended 5 stars for the price.

I own this set and they have worked flawlessly and the sound is a clear upgrade over much of the lower priced gear I have used. those tweeters are amazing and don't break up when i crank it at times. I can recommend these, I run them through a Schiit Modi dac off my computer (another reason they sound great is having a decent dac to hook them up with)

Woah, I can see why they'd reach out to you for a review because your style/approach is pretty phenomenal, really great aesthetic going here. I would say you might want to experiment with dialing back the background music like 10%-15%ish so your voice pops over it a little bit more since those mystic high ringing sounds stand out a little too much. Epic review style overall though, def subscribing.

Edifier is really good quality. I have the S1000MKII in my bedroom. Its incredible.

I have to agree i was shocked ive never heard audio so clear even at low v9lumes you can distinguish individual tonality its pure genius

I have been using Edifier TWS1 Pro for some time now. It has been my first ever Edifier product and it easily surpasses the bass and overall clarity of the audio output of all other earphones I have ever used in the last 20 years. That being said, I have no difficulty believing what you have said in this video. I really enjoyed the review and probably buy the Edifier S360DB or my ultimate favorite Edifier S760D.
I ordered these for my living room. They look pretty and solid. The sound is clear and nice to listen at low to mediun volume. As I increase the volume, subwoofer starts to be more pronounced than the sound from satellites. It ruins the overall experience while listening to music. Using the bass knob on one of the satellites helps only partially. There are no adjustment knobs on the subwoofer. I am considering returning s360db and buying S2000 mkIII instead.

something that id personally like is more audio you handling and knocking on the items. its a cool way of letting people know what sort of build quality a product might have beyond just your verbal description. background music was a bit louder than your voice at times but you picked good tracks. your camera equipment, mics and lighting are top quality so you should show that off with some more b roll of the item in use in your own setup. short clips like that while youre talking from your desk setup would really take full advantage of the video medium and keep eyes glued to the screen. some more info on what types of woofers and tweeters it has and how they compare to other types. as well as how this stand alone item might be better than compiling a full dac amp and speaker system on your own. this could help steer people who are clueless and on the fence about what to do, make an informed decision on whether to buy an item or not.
hope my criticisms arent to demanding and can help in the future. i really overall enjoyed the video and am surprised you dont have more subs considering the potential you have within you. i wish you good luck going forwards.

I have two sets if Edifire speaks. I have the 3000 pros and I loved them so much I went and got the 2000mks for my other room. I have never heard speakers that sound this amazing. I even purchased a set of 2000mks for both of my brothers, and the love them. They won't even think about a sound bar anymore. You can hear every detail in the sound and the bass is amazing
Soundbars are such trash! I've yet to hear one that really does it all, these are such a better alternative for a minimal setup!

Love these speakers. I use them for my turntable. My CD player, and as surround sound for the tv occasionally. Fantastic speakers.

I have the s350db speakers for a couple years now and they are A+, looking at the wireless sub one for myself as well now or another set.

Logitech are no comparison to these, these re designed by audio experts and Logitech are simple computer speakers, for gamers.
@@yowandbm I've had Edifi0er SB351, Z623 and Z625 and I have to say I prefer the sound and fullness of the Z623.
@@DreamingPhenom it's all about the preference, right. Some like bass the most, some enjoy all-round, different people seek different things in music and from the speakers in general.

I'm looking at buying the Edifier s351db but your review still gives me a pretty good idea what to expect. I think if the remote which is a normal, functional design is any indication of Edifier refining the newer model, I would think the more recent model can only be an improvement over the S360DB.

The bass is really great for a 2.1 system, perfect for an apartment or a dedicated music room.
so I received them box was damaged back of it was scratched and it doesn't seem loud at all. and the sub is making a rattle noise from the gold port I'm wondering if it wasn't glued all the way. but amazing clarity tight deep bass i love it and it was free amazon refunded me for the damaged package @@JCArt
S2000mkiii , great as monitor and also for rich music experience. If you have larger room S3000pro. Worth every penny.

Update May 2021: I bought these today and they are amazing.
Thanks man! Honestly, that's a good question but in this case you could not...it's definitely just a 2.1 setup. The speaker connections are uniquely fitted to one another with no options to output to a reciever or other device.

Hey can I ask something? Does the optic cable always come in its own plastic enclosure with the edifier logo? Cause I ordered mine (which I had to return cause of a defect in the subwoofer) and the optic cable was just in a little bag. So I am wondering if it was actually a previously returned product and not new.

Wish they had a black model for S360DB like S351DB is the black variant of the S350DB. Now I am struggling between 360 for better sound and less restriction on cable management/speaker placement vs black side panels on 351. Or is there news they are doing the black 360 soon.
I TOTALLY agree! If these came in black it would be just that much better! As it is though, it's a gorgeous wood finish and I did reach out to them mentioning this and they said they are working on it!

I think if you want a PC setup something like the R1850's would be better suited, these are pretty heavy and the sub takes up a decent amount of space

@@Regainish They are actually not that huge. I put the subwoofer on the sofa and the speakers fit my small 90cm desk with a 24 inch monitor so you are just fine. May I ask if you got them and if you did, if the optic cable was in the official edifier plastic packaging and not in some plastic little bag. Cause I worry my defective speakers were actually used.
I am ordering them next week on Monday as an early Christmas present to Myself, after having them so long, do You still recommend them? I’ll be using them for office work ( zoom) gaming, movies, and music.

The subwoofer DOES have a volume knob, yes!

@@Greg_J the S2000's are gorgeous, if I didn't already have the R1850's I'd definitely be using those for my video editing setup! I think I'd stick with the S360DB's for the living room area though, just because I cant emphasize enough how much power that sub packs in and really beings it all together!
Great review! A few questions, does it distort at max volume with the bass dial turned up? Can it cover a 7 meters x 6 meters room? When watching a movie, how are the vocals? Loud enough without the need to crank it up? Thanks in advance!
These CRANK with no distortion whatsoever! When it comes to vocals I cover clarity of dialogue pretty extensively in my review as well!
I'm looking into buying the s360db for use with the TV in the living room. My only question right now is if I connect these via an optical connection, will the speakers turn on automatically when powering on the TV or will I need to start them seperately? I'm currently used to the speakers being turned on automatically via hdmi earc which is very convenient. Thanks in advance!
Not sure! I dont leave them powered on when not in use, but they're great speakers and sound awesome!

They're roughly about 10 inches high, 5 inches wide and about 6-7 inches deep

Was gong to sub anyway but the outro made me sub early. Its either these or razer nomo pro its a tough choice but i always wanted reference monitor with sub plus planar and active dsp and aptx is like a dream but im still confused

I own both the 1855's (which I use for my computer) and the S360DB's for the living room and I think that they're both excellent choices.
s360 have better sound due to better tweeters and miss sound a bit better from their bigger mid drivers. I have s350db and my friend has s360db.
Edifier R line is lower grade than S line.
Best may be to go with A series sattelites lime A100 or A200 maybe and T5 sub.
@@yowandbm The price difference between the S360 and the S350 where i'm buying it is about 100 usd, 250 usd for the s360 and 150 for the S350
@@MegaLilei in EU it is even bigger price difference. But if I had the chance I'd go for s360s as, in my opinion, pleasure has no price. Even if they are 10% better than s350s.
@@Rapha194 I'm not sure, I read that R speakers are not so sofisticated as S series, that includes drivers and electronic components inside, as well as DSP and overall tuning. That is why I'd maybe go for s360db.
But I haven't heard R speakers and this is just an opinion based on internet reading.
Klipsch 2.1 heritage are better imo except that they got no optical input. But they aint in uk

My s360DB is craping out on me after 1 and half year. Very dissapointing indeed. The sub unit seems to be cutting off at random. Buyer beware. Edifier considered just meh quality product here in asia. I don't know why western folk keep praising them.

Anyway, I love Edifier but the remote control, I hate.
Yeah, even after regular use at this point I STILL don't have a grasp on where things are on the remote due to its shape. Always have to use a light on it first at night so I know what I'm pressing. Kind of annoying due to the shape, but hey, the speakers are amazing!
@@JCArt I just bought my second set, an upgrade to the DB. They really should change the remote. With rectangular shaped remotes, I have a feel where every button is in the dark in bed. If Edifier truly wants to be different, have the remote light up. Hmmmmmm.
