Nice room mate Class Act 1 of my favourite movies along with House Party..where did you get the coming to america candle from ?? TIA
Thanks! A buddy of mine got it for my birthday a few years back, no idea where it came from but I'm so glad I have it!
These days, it feels almost impossible to find a KI arcade 1up cab at a reasonable price. Are there any resources or ideas you know of where I could maybe build one?
Sadly no, been out of the arcade game for a while now...A1UP has been pretty absent lately
This is hands-down the best XH2S video rig I’ve ever seen!!!
This looks amazing!
Nicely done. Despite my comments on fb I get why you’ve done this, an I have been shooting a cheap cine lens which is my first, but it won’t be my last.
Hell yeah dude, agreeing isn't always necessary, sometimes understanding someone else's perspective is all we need!
Awesome game room
Clean 👌
Very nice, very clean visual mods on the cabs. LOVE the KI, Super CLEAN - I'm still sore about never getting a Burger Time Great collection!
Love my Burgertime!!! I want a damn Smash TV cab!!!
@ RetroLizard
Which parts / how exactly are you attaching the accsson transmitter. Im using a magic arm and want something more rigid... Great rig. Boss rig!
All the parts are listed with links in the description! And thank you! If you have any more questions that I can answer, shoot me a message on one of my social channels!
BRO! Get some box protectors for those SNES games! You're gonna give me a heart attack!
😅
Does it has street fighter 1 ?
No just the good ones haha
8-Bit Fury, I know that guy! Seriously though, next to Voltron, I couldn't think of a more prestigious location for that soundtrack/score, thanks dude!
Thank YOU for your contribution good sir!
Amazing stuff, my dude. I can't wait for next year's tour of room number 3!
I don't even know where to go from here haha
Amazing build! Really am going to try to emulate this down to the cable. I would love to see a video of you building it piece by piece. Super clean cable management. Love it. Unrelated question. I’m starting to play with log and as far as exposing do you expose right at 0 or do you go a stop above or below for best results in post? Thanks!!!
I have links to every single piece you'll need in the description! Do it up! As for FLOG2, I tend to balance things pretty close to zero or like +0.3 - +0.5 myself
What a beast love it!
Love your build, did you get the smallrig fiz handle connected to the camera to control record start stop?
Yes! I wanted to be able to pull focus AND control recording in ONE handle and it does just that!
@JCArt nice, is that via Bluetooth or a cable?
Kind of both...a cable connects from the Fiz motor itself and into the Fujis ext. jack and when you hit the rec button on the handle it transmits to the motor to record. Weird setup and it took me forever to figure out setting it up.
I’m looking to get myself a set of these speakers, found a set quite cheap on Facebook marketplace, came to see some reviews to make my final decision, my question is do the connect up to your phone via Bluetooth?
These connect to any bluetooth device very easily! I have a link to them in my description, snag them up, I still love mine!
@@JCArt I think I will, I found a set of S350DB for about $150 cheaper so I’m going to go for them instead
Dude thankyou! I've been waiting for thiss
Can you do a video on a very simple build (inexpensive) to get into focusing manually. I always wanted to make that leap but unsure how.
That's an interesting task you've presented me with! Let me think about that one!
@@JCArt I also shoot video on an XH2s and Photo on XH2 for Events. It is hard to find good content especially manual focusing kits and how to get started without breaking the bank. Let me know if I can help in anyway.
@dalemadrigal9730 drop me a line on one of my social feeds, might be easier to just do something that way for you!
Hi! The build is awesome! Please keep in mind that the fuji cameras will eventually separate the composite body from the bottom plate if you don't lock in the hotshoe to the cage. The weight of lenses and matte boxes flex the camera enough to cause this issue. Note : the wooden camera cage locks perfectly and eliminates the issue. I use smallrig and had to modify my rigidpro top plate. I can share with you if interested. Let me know...
Interesting, send me a message on one of my social pages!
Love the video
Quick question, have you found a cinebag that is deep enough to store your fully rigged xh2s without having to derig the whole thing for quick draw shooting and easy transportation, it's tricky as the rig makes it functional and intuitive to use though dismounting and remounting the accessories waste alot of time when having to move from one location to another
Yes!!! I have the PERFECT bag for this build, no disassembly required! Thanks for reminding me, I'll add it to the description now! Here you go! amzn.to/4g86RBO I took out all the additional liners inside and it fits perfectly. Monitor can lay flat with no issues whatsoever. Can still fit the Smallrig focus bag and an external mic in the bag too. Also holds my Mattebox in one of the pouches. Best bag ever.
Fujifilm cameras are not cinema cameras. The fact that ppl rig this camera to a “cinema” camera blows my mind. These cameras are meant for photography. If you want a cinema camera, go with a Sony FX3, Panasonic S1H, BS1H, any black magic camera or Red camera. Fuji will never be cinema like. Any production company will tell you this
The H2s is not a photography camera, the H2 is. The H2s is in fact the videocentric Fuji camera. The beauty here is, you're free to go and shoot on whatever you like!
@ it’s alright for social media and short film TH-cam videos. No one or no production company is going to make a feature film or a legit documentary out of this super mid camera. They just marketed it as a film camera but really it’s not. I got rid of my X-H2s because it’s just not it. I switched over to a FX3 and my life became complete. XH2S is overrated and not a cinema camera. Never will be
If you know what you're doing and have skills with lighting ANY camera with the proper specs (which this has) can do the task. Skill and know how always supercede the equipment every time. This is a gorgeous camera system that if you know how to use it, rewards you with gorgeous imagery. I'm one of those people who gets paid to do exactly what say nobody will pay someone to do, so here's to succeeding however you see fit .
@@KelzionFilms Ah, the classic ‘I bought an FX3, so now I'm a pro’ take. Sure, because having the Sony logo on your camera automatically makes your film Oscar-worthy😂 Meanwhile, people are creating magic with rigs like this H2s, while you polish your FX3’s logo in the comments.
@ You got it! 😉 Sony will always beat Fuji.
Fantastic build. Thanks for this!
Ever thought of getting the lidar from dji on it?
Nah dude, I'm SO done with autofocus. Once you go prime, manual cinema lenses it's impossible to go back. Controlling focus yourself is just SO much more precise and better in every way.
Sucha nice build! Really considering doing the same thing! But really under $2000USD? The rigidpro stuff and monitor and battery alone is over $1000
I left links in the description so you can get EVERY single piece you'd need to build this the same way I did, hope it helps!
Wow, what a beaut!
Such a nice rig
Thank you!
The autofocus is not great on the xh2s
No it is not, it's pretty terrible in fact
So is the stabilization. Just atrocious
I think that the IBIS had been pretty great myself. Never any problems. But even when my rig was lighter, it was still heavier than stock, so I had added stab through weight.
Holy crap! You didn't just build a solid rig... I think you also formed Voltron 🤣 Great video!!!
😂
Top tier production value dude - I know nothing about these fancy-pants rig but the video was great and your equipment rocks
Works for XH2?
You know what...? I think it WILL. If I'm not mistaken, that Smallrig cage you need to get (link in the description) should also fit the H2 and if it does, then that means the RigidPro for the H2s will work because its made to fit that particular cage.
Absolutely yes! The bodies are exactly the same (X-H2s and X-H2). The smallrig cage is also the same for both cameras :-)
So that's why Fujifilm doesn't feel like they need to fix autofocus right away... because everybody who treats their camera seriously gets manual lenses anyway. 🤣 I'm a proud x-h2s owner myself. I film all my stuff for my channel with it. I'm looking at this stuff you attached to your camera and I cannot yet feel that I need all these. But yeah you're right this is the cleanest and the most pretty cinema rig based on xh2s I've seen so far.
😂 it's definitely not for everybody, but I shoot anything from weddings, commercials, to short/feature films. I NEED a rig that can keep up and all of these attachments mean I can go into ANY scenario fully prepared!
Nope, most newer cameras sold are for the price with capabilities.
Awesome video and rig. Have you tried the MKX zooms from Fujifilm? I love mine.
Dude, those are 1000% next on my list! Cannot wait to get my hands on those!
@@JCArt Awesome video (and great suggestion Joey). I intend to buy and build your rig but to Joey's point, will the Smallrig Wireless MagicFiz Follow Focus handle the MKS manual zooms?
It absolutely will, as long as you're feeding it enough power the torque on the motor is amazing. All the pieces you'll need are linked in the description of the video!
@@mikeribant5037 I have the MagicFIZ, it has plenty of torque. I've found that the bigger issue is the rig flexing (if carried by the top handle) and the drive gear becoming disengaged with the sprockets on the lens. But I'm guessing that's an issue for a lot of lenses. Now, I haven't tried this yet with the Rigid chassis, when I talk about the rig flexing I mean my previous setup which was basically everything anchored to just the camera cage.
@@joeyc923 Thanks for your reply, gentlemen!
Stunning review and even better rig! This is why we love honest, unsponsored reviews. Thanks for your business and welcome to the family!
It's a great piece of tech! Keep up the great work guys, this is legit a game changer!
@@RigidPRO I’ve actually been looking at this unit, are there any differences vs. the one from Camera Foundry? They seem very similar.
They do...in fact, I was bugging Caleb non-stop for a few months about making one for the H2s. I finally got tired of waiting and gave the RigidPro a shot and honestly, I'm SO glad I did. They have better mounting points, an active LED voltage system and it's also a much cleaner 3D print. Go with the RigidPro. I can't praise this system enough.
@@JCArt awesome thank you! Is there an affiliate link for you?
@joeyc923 absolutely bud, (not for the RigidPro unit, this is an unpaid review) but all of the other pieces you'd need have links down in the description! Thank you!
Looks absolutely AMAZING!
Thanks so much! It's my favorite thing ever.
Just picked up the S360DB set on sale at Amazon. I've had the Edifier R1280DB 2.0 set in my shop for a couple of years and was super impressed by them, so picking up the new 2.1 set on sale was a no brainer. Can't wait to rock this new setup.
🔥🔥
How would ther compare to a pair of edifer qr65 w t5 sub?
Do cinemarig setup dude, love it!
Once I get out of the weeds with work in the next couple of weeks, I'm going to do a full video breakdown! Subscribe and stay tuned, it's coming!
Fantastic music choice, and sick set uppp
Awwww shucks 😊
Made in fucking China...:(
How long ago did you order yours I’m asking everybody I see with one cause I ordered mine and I hope it shows up in atleast a month?
Got mine in like 4 days!
@@JCArt wow really yay thank you for responding ❤️
The only lacking about this video is ...sound test.
big case
Legit the size of an old PC game box! It's incredible!
Love this track. DD 4-life.
I ordered these for my living room. They look pretty and solid. The sound is clear and nice to listen at low to mediun volume. As I increase the volume, subwoofer starts to be more pronounced than the sound from satellites. It ruins the overall experience while listening to music. Using the bass knob on one of the satellites helps only partially. There are no adjustment knobs on the subwoofer. I am considering returning s360db and buying S2000 mkIII instead.
What did you end up doing? I'm considering the S360 vs s2000 mkIII as well for living room use (movies and music). I'd love to know what you ended up doing and if you tried the S2000 mkIII how they compared to the S360 for living room usage
Hi @@vyvynylification, I returned S360DB and ordered R2750DB for 190€. Much better experience.
@@bagmaster1 Thank you. So out of those 3 you'd recommend the S2000/S3000 then? Even for living room usage and with them having no subwoofer? :)
@@vyvynylification I think this is a matter of personal preference. Many people like s360db, but I did not. S2750DB have solid basses according to my taste, I have them in 4m x 4.2m room. You can still buy an extra subwoofer if you need to, as there is a dedicated sw output on one of the satellites.
@@bagmaster1 I decided on the s2000 mkIII for now. If I dislike them I might give other speakers a go.
Nice collection.
Serious question: How do you afford a house with a decked out games room? “Working hard”… I also work hard. Is there something I’m missing ?😢
Serious answer: No debt. Worked incredibly hard at three different jobs, like 70 hours a week for a solid 5 years to get completely out of debt, and this is how I reward myself!
I am ordering them next week on Monday as an early Christmas present to Myself, after having them so long, do You still recommend them? I’ll be using them for office work ( zoom) gaming, movies, and music.
It's been a couple years since I made this video and they're still the speakers in my living room!
@@JCArtThank You for replying man, it is my first time getting a decent pair of desktop/bookshelf speakers. When You had them connected to your Pc, Did You have to change any sound settings on windows?
Nope! These sound great right out of the box!
@@JCArt Thank You again for replying, unfortunately, they got sold out, and I am now waiting for stock till the end of the month 😢, otherwise still excited for them. Do You use an amplifier or DAC with them?
@@christiaannienkemper2419 straight out the box my man!
