Hi Zacc. We have a 24 hour lay over. We are even staying in a hotel in the airport. From my understanding, if you step out of the airport, that's when you have to go to immigration. How about if you just want to go to Jewel, do you still have to go to immigration? My other question, the complimentary ride to the city from the airport, do they offer complimentary ride from city back to the airport? We thought of going to the city at night, because we want to experience Singapore street food at night. Do they have specific time range for the complimentary shuttles to the city and back? We did this in Korea on one of lay overs there. Unfortunately, it was snowing. We couldn't enjoy walking around.

There's a loophole to this, so even though you're supposed to complete the tour, meaning you go back to the Airport with the group, there's an answer in the FAQ that "In the unlikely event that participants are separated from the tour group, the particpant has to make his or her own way back to the airport at his or her own cost.", so you still can. They said that they are very strict with the time so if you didn't make it back to the bus after the 30 mins given then the bus will leave without you and you'll have to ride public transpo to get back to the airport.

I have a layover of 7.5 hours and would be eligible to go on the 6:00pm-8:30pm heritage tour. it says that the tour is 2.5 hours long, so say if it finishes at 8:30pm, do you get back to the airport at 8:30pm? Cause during the tour, the carry-on luggage are not allowed to keep in the bus, this means one got to carry it along the trip.

@daisyree joan barilla, you may request to the Tour Guide from the beginning and see if he allows. During my trip, the Tour Guide said depends on the situation but likely ok. The tour guide has the duty to bring all the participants back to Changi or at least to know the whereabout cause he got to report back to the Immigration side. Btw, the tour does pass by Bugis.
Why not complete the tour first back to airport then take train down to bugis as for tour stop over is only on certain locations and from bus it will pass by bugis but it won't stop there

For this tour, all the entrance fee are taken care and participants do not need to pay. However, at the Gardens by the Bay, there are sections which require separate fee, those are not included in this tour.
Just keep in mind that this tour is actually sponsored by Changi Airport, Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Airlines if I am not mistaken.

Hi Zacc. We have a 24 hour lay over. We are even staying in a hotel in the airport. From my understanding, if you step out of the airport, that's when you have to go to immigration. How about if you just want to go to Jewel, do you still have to go to immigration? My other question, the complimentary ride to the city from the airport, do they offer complimentary ride from city back to the airport? We thought of going to the city at night, because we want to experience Singapore street food at night. Do they have specific time range for the complimentary shuttles to the city and back? We did this in Korea on one of lay overs there. Unfortunately, it was snowing. We couldn't enjoy walking around.

@shahina7562, it depends on the size. There are 4 sizes: Loose (SGD5), Small (SGD10), Big/Odd (SGD15), Extra Big (SGD18). Rate based on 24 hours, per item. The baggage storage can be found next to the Lululemon shop in Terminal 3.

There's a loophole to this, so even though you're supposed to complete the tour, meaning you go back to the Airport with the group, there's an answer in the FAQ that "In the unlikely event that participants are separated from the tour group, the particpant has to make his or her own way back to the airport at his or her own cost.", so you still can. They said that they are very strict with the time so if you didn't make it back to the bus after the 30 mins given then the bus will leave without you and you'll have to ride public transpo to get back to the airport.

@maihienma8381, when we reached there, the tour guide gives some explanation on several occasions about the place and participants are given time in between to take pictures. We only explored the areas which does not require a paid ticket. Yes, enough time to explore and it is a big area.

Hi! I was just wanting to ask a question. So i booked two free Singapore tour through online one while going to Bali and another while returning to Chennai.

@Jasper Caalim, there is only 40 slots for this tour each day. Yes, you can still book on the day itself, but the chance of you getting a slot is slim. Hence, it is better to book online to confirm your friends have a slot if your friends do not want to get disappointed. When you book through online, it will also show how many slots remaining.

@TawfiqHasan91, the tour guide may ask you to put your carry-on luggage to the Baggage Storage available in T2/T3. Yes, there is a small fee depending on the size for the baggage storage. Cause during the tour, the carry-on luggage are not allowed to keep in the bus, this means one got to carry it along the trip.

@daisyree joan barilla, you may request to the Tour Guide from the beginning and see if he allows. During my trip, the Tour Guide said depends on the situation but likely ok. The tour guide has the duty to bring all the participants back to Changi or at least to know the whereabout cause he got to report back to the Immigration side. Btw, the tour does pass by Bugis.
Why not complete the tour first back to airport then take train down to bugis as for tour stop over is only on certain locations and from bus it will pass by bugis but it won't stop there
