You just made this feature so useful and more simplified. Thank you
You are very welcome, Frank. All the best with creating some cool new rules!
Thank you, this video was very helpful! 😀 Keep up the good work
Oh! Thanks a lot!! It’s exactly what I was looking for
I liked how you introduced this, thanks for your time and effort 🌹 .
My pleasure 😊
Thanks for explaining everything in detail
Glad it was helpful!
Very nice! Thanks for this info.
You are very welcome, Ed.
Thanks so much. I user the Calendar one quite a bit. Will use board buttons going forward.
You're welcome!
You are the best teacher on youtube. Maybe a trello board and workflow for crm. Especially for real estate leads? Thanks
Azzeaz Saleh Try the Crmble power up.
thanks for another great video . Is there any way we can use butler and/or card repeater power up for recurring tasks to put the due date exactly what we need? As card repeater power up only repeat the card(with the same due date), but not the due date say for next year. Hope u can help!
Love your videos. I’m having a consistent issue with having calendar events show up as doubles in my calendar. Especially when I add invites. Would you consider doing a video on how to avoid this? Thanks again! :)
Thanks so much for providing this suggestion.
Hi, I was wandering is it possible to set a rule in which when I open a new card from a certain list and label it (for instance green label), it will be automatically added as an attachment to
card in other list which has the same color label?
great video as usual!! I just tried this on one of my boards - I created a list called today and when I drag a card onto this list it sets a due date for today. .... however the time it sets is "automagically 😳 " making it 10:59pm ... every time. Do you know if there's a way I can "automagically" make it set for an all day event?
When creating/editing your Butler rules, you will see an Advanced toggle switch in the top right corner. Turn this on, and you will get access to even more detailed settings including specific times. I hope that helps!
Thanks Scott, very useful introduction. One question: If you create a new card from an item of a checklist, could it gets the same label as the "mothercard" automaticly?
That's a great question. But I'm not sure if 'converting a checklist item to card' is a trigger that can be identified.
I really need to master this power-up. It could be very powerful for me. Still scratching my head trying to fathom how to make quite a long sequence of rules
All the best as you experiment and discover the best way to use this tool.
Does Butler work with Placker Project?
Hay
I don't understand how butller can add a check list.
And if i can open more then one roll for free user
Hi Scott, I am trying to set up a rule whereby when I move a card from pending booking to booked, it automatically sends the client, who's name and email address is listed in the card, an email notifying them this booking is now confirmed. Is it possible?? Cheers
Yes, you can set this up by using Trello automation. You would need to make use of variables however in order to make this work: support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/butler-variables/
The Butler button does not show up in any of my boards, nor can I find it anywhere. What am I doing wrong?
How can I set up the butler to email clients from a card on a certain day
You can use the Due Date function within Butler and then select Content as the Action. I hope that helps!
@@Simpletivity can I put in a body of text that I want to be my email message? Will it send to the clients email on the card? Trello is awesome but this is confusing me
There is no butler button. Anywhere
This in now built right into Trello as part of their automation options.
