I had the enormous pleasure of spending a day with Randy up in Portland last weekend. I can't say enough how humble generous and kind of a person he is on top of being one of my true fabrication heroes.
Just straight out joy from watching this, interesting, inspiring, educational and amazing, loved it from start to finish, just grateful I got to experience it but being a greedy little pig I still want more.
A seriously elegant and super sexy dream machine!!! Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! I'm Margarita Popova, the Badge maker. I'm deeply honored to be a part of all this gorgeousness! Thank you Randy!!!!
As a former automotive designer, sculptor and all around car-guy... Your work is truly artistically, design-wise, engineering-wise, and fabrication-wise, SUPERLATIVE Randy!
Absolutely beautiful! I love the widow's peak feature on the top of the windshield and that grille totally completes the front end. That engine is incredible. You truly are an artist.
RANDY IS A GIFT FROM GOD,HE HAS CREATED FROM HIS MINDS EYE,I WISH HIM THE BEST IN LIFE AND WOULD GREATLY LIKE TO MEET HIM ONE DAY..THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOU'RE CREATIONS...YOU ARE SOOOO BLESSED..
Aren't you glad we have talent like that here in the United States. The Europeans aren't the only ones with talented coachbuilders like this. Thanks for an absolutely unbelievable video you certainly are talented take care.
as each build happens the level of fit and finish improves and the first build i saw on jay leno's garage was an exceptional piece. this is beautiful randy. as a coach builder and overall fabricator you sir are world class.
i've seen quite a few of Randy Grubbs designs, but, just the classic lines and craftsmanship in the " Falconer ", together with the V12, make it my favourite ! :)
Simply STELLAR! What a work of art! I've been waiting for the second part, and it was well worth the wait. Absolutely beautiful, Souchek has nothing on you Randy!
The Falconer is nothing like the original road car shown at the start of the first video, that's the Mann-bodied car. It looks more like an open version of the Chapron coupe cars. BTW, the Wiki (Fr) page on the Delahaye 145 says that about a dozen of the V12 cars were made between 1937 and 1940
great work Randy. When I've got enough money in the bank I'm going to have you build me something. Did you notice I said 'when' not 'if', I am an optimist if nothing else. Absolutely outstanding work.
Randy Grubb is making the transition from hot rodder to elite coach builder. I lived near his shop and frequently have been treated to seeing his projects' first outings.
Damn the overall body and shape of the car is something ripped straight of my dreams almost... Guess I'll have to go back to the drawing board if I wanna make my own cause now it'll just feel like I'm ripping off this genius right here
I note that some 30's/40's/50's classic cars have the rear wheel center ahead of the centerline of fender. That is, closer to the cockpit. The reverse happens at the front wheel.
Incredibly beautiful! Randy is truly gifted! Being able to create something like this from scratch and forming all the components and assembling them into a completed vehicle must be totally satisfying. Nicely edited video too! Id like to see the interior. Is there a trunk?
I’ve been a huge fan of Randy’s skills and stylish lines since I first found him on TH-cam, but this is by far my favorite. HOLEECRAPOLEEIWANTONE !! 🥴😳🤙
With all the design creativity, developed and evolved master shop skills & quality tools. You have been working for many years with great accomplishment, a circled by friends who have collaborated with specialized knowledge brought to bear fashioning success. Why in the world would you tell J. Leno in your piece on the VW bus project, that you prefer to work alone?
Just because you HAVE to work with other people, doesn't mean you LIKE to work with other people. Sometimes you just have to do certain things to get the job done. I prefer to work alone, but I can't do everything myself, so others have to be involved occasionally .
I've never seen so much talent in one pair of hands. It's awe inspiring. Enjoy your ride!!
Randy, Your craft, your skill, your art, Moves me to tears. Hard for me to find words for this much esthetic pleasure. Bravo Randy...........

This world needs more people like Randy Grubb, his lines are so organic they could be created by mother nature herself. Awesome.

Just straight out joy from watching this, interesting, inspiring, educational and amazing, loved it from start to finish, just grateful I got to experience it but being a greedy little pig I still want more.
WOW.........WOW..........FANTASTIC, BELLO, BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO....
Wow... I couldn't even DRAW the exhaust system for that car. Must be an awesome feeling to be able to create something like that.
I think Randy is like a whole bunch of designers, engineers, mechanics, and body and fender men all rolled into one person!
unbelievable...a true artisan . Love how simple (so to speak) the grille is yet so elegant

How do you keep the polished aluminum body from oxidizing?

Randy what ECU are you using to run the engine? Looks like a MoTeC m800 to me.
Wow...I'd like to own and use a decapod trike but this thing? Wow! A shiny SS100 on steroids.
Great guy, awesome car, many many $$$$$$$$, The rivets were used for a reason,do you know why,I do.just sayin'
Incredible work as always, just wish we could have heard it running on the road instead of the music.
