We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

Being as though it is a triple wide, they definitely short changed the master bedroom space.

A door from a bath to the outside makes sense if you entertain a lot on porch, or have a pool off the porch. Then folks can use the bath and not walk thru the whole house to do so. I hate the ceiling being not vaulted in the whole of the den off the kitchen more.

I understand the door in the master bath. I owned a home with a door to the back yard with a pool, that went to the master bedroom/bathroom. I feel like this door is meant to go to a hot tub on the porch. It makes using the restroom, or bathing directly from the hot tub much easier, without tracking water throughout the house.

    • @DannJcksn
      @DannJcksn 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

that is good for a bathroom that is not the "Master", unless the porch/hot tub/ pool is only accessible to the Master Bedroom... But the point of a master bathroom is no one but the owner of the home gets to use it..

The door in the master bath is so you can have a private jacuzzi right outside the master bedroom with access to the bathroom so they don't track water into the house.

I really do like this floor plan. I think I'd call that a "flex" room where we entered from the deck. For me, it would be a game room with a pool table, large card table (for poker and board games), and a could comfy chairs and a sofa bed for guests.
I like the kitchen arrangement, too. But I would prefer the microwave on the kitchen counter instead of the separate cabinet outside the kitchen. I currently have a microwave that is away from the main kitchen and with my mobility issues, it's a lot of extra steps that I don't need.
But overall, it's a very nice, spacious home. Thanks for the tour.

Because you could have locked the door into the bedroom and had that restroom used for guests gathering and a pool area. The porch is great for gathering of families that always have those people who branch off into their own groups.

I really, really like the front porch, I’ve have always wanted one that’s wrapped around like this one. I feel like the living room is way to small for that size of home. The pantry is great. I believe putting a gas/propane fireplace where the barn doors are would be pretty. The kitchen is amazing and has plenty of cabinets. I like the computer nook area, it’s perfect. The master bedroom closet, seems like they could had made it more grand and I do like my bathtub in the master. Not everyone can take a bath and not everyone wants just a shower. Not to excited about a door coming into the master bath. This will make someone very happy and excited to call their home. This is just my thoughts. Thank you for showing this to us. Keep up the great work.

It's a beautiful, spacious home, and I LOVE the porch. Honestly, day-to-day, my family would use the utility room entrance. But, I do agree with you about bringing folks in the main living area. The "front" door & living room almost feels more like a sunroof for all of my plants! The barn doors are gorgeous but seem awkward with the outlet & TV set up in the middle. I'd trade the bathroom door for a soaking tub 100%.

The layout & size is great! The only thing is I woul love for there to be a big porch on what I would consider to be the front entrance into the main living room & kitchen area. Definitely needs to be a stone fire place with built-ins in the den instead of that huge closet. Would prefer the dark wood carried through into the upper cabinets not white cabinets.

    Love your videos, Chance!
But am I the only one that's surprised in the lack of function when it's so large? No tub in the master? It's only 3 bedrooms? No room for a deep freezer? It just seems an odd layout with a waste of useable space. Plus what you called a den would end up being a "formal" living room, because in reality, everyone gathers by the kitchen. So the TV and family would be in the living room by it. So more of a waste of space.
That said, I love the porch! I love the master bath, despite the lack of tub. I like how the house is two wings. I like the doors, although the one in the master bath is weird, lol.

I really enjoy your tours Chance. Thank you for another good one. I love the size of this model and the wrap around porch. Such a wonderful large pantry but would be nice closer to where I am cooking. I like a coat closet and entry way to the home rather then just a door into the living room although they did try to make some separation with that lower part of the ceiling. The family room could be set up as a studio apartment with that large closet and outside private entrance or maybe a vacation rental. That could help with your payments. Love how large all the bedrooms are and bathrooms are lovely. That master shower is amazing. I am not excited about a door into the bathroom but it does make a good mud room, you know come in muddy and clean up before you get to the rest of the house. Not a bad idea. Thank you again.

I think the outdoor bathroom is genius. A lot of bigger rvs have direct bathroom access. Im thinking if you have an outdoor party. People have access to a bathroom without going inside. Or of your really dirty from outdoor activities. Trail riding n such going directly to a bathroom is great. Hosing off dirty kids or an extra emergency exit in case of fire. Idk. It may be "unconventional" but i see nothing but benefit. If you don't want to use it, lock it and forget about it.
