Hi Izzy, when you're cutting or creating any dust, please wear a mask. I thought I was invincible, but now suffering like hell. Recently been diagnosed with copd. My breathing is awful. Take care

I have seen this in patients who cut stone/brick and even in people who dump building waste.
What is the life expectancy of a person with silicosis?
The survival times of silicosis stage I , II and III, from the year of diagnosis to death, were 21.5, 15.8 and 6.8 years, respectively. There was 25 % of the silicosis patients whose survival time was beyond 33 y. The mean death age of all silicosis cases was 56.0 y

I'm 71 years old and have completed major renovations both in the UK and in France. My dad was a builder and his dad was a builder. They used the line method all those years ago, (except is was feet and inches of course) so it is so good to see such a "young" builder using tried and trusted methods and producing high quality work. Well done "Izzy".

I just compared the block work on my extension to yours and the cow boy. Our chaps are very much like yours so that makes me very happy.

I’m not often left with little to say about all things regarding brickwork but this video has changed that. First look all I could say was “holy shit”. That really was abysmal. By the end I was left saying “ that’s how it should look”. Well done yet again on another high quality example of how to go about doing a proper job. A pleasure to watch as always 💪🏻

Just found your channel and subscribed after this one video. Guess I have a bit of catching up to do! Nice to feel I'm giving a genuine person that cares about the job he does a few fractions of a penny each time I'm gonna be watching. Keep 'em coming

Great content Izzy, you're a credit to the trade. Have you ever considered a scaffold system that incorporates a pulley? Lol, it hurts me thinking about you guys climbing that ladder! Anyways, keep on keeping on, quality work.

Well done , here’s a tip for ya, fill ya frog holes up at end of day, if it pisses down you won’t lay on water filled holes.
Mortar will spew everywhere, unless you sponge out every hole.
Been bricklaying 50 yrs so have a rough idea.
    Good luck for the future.

Do yourself a favour Izzy, either use a wet saw or at very least a respirator when you cut blocks. Silica kills many a tradie. Great work and enjoy watching 👍🏻

Brilliant job! Great to see professionals at work - we (surveyors) are coming across more and more shoddy workmanship and cowboys ripping off elderly people, especially bad roofers. I wonder if this client was elderly? Makes me so angry when scammers target the vulnerable. First time I've seen one of Izzy's videos and it's wonderful to see such fantastic work 👍
