I must say Charlie, that’s old school mentality which I love let’s just keep the clients happy let’s be efficient let’s get the job done definitely not about being greedy 100% agree with you we need to go back to the old ways and stop using a softy softy approach to these youngsters That think they’re gonna melt in the rain you absolute legend
I’m a daily viewer now mate lol What I’ve noticed last 3 days is you’ve taken in to account what some people have commented like adding more real time footage so fair play good content creator tbh Ace how you got all that internal wall up under the gazebo whilst it was chucking it down
@georgemartin6389 It's all relative to the amount of much you have in between the two surfaces... Once again... How come mortar doesn't get squeezed out under the weight of the wall itself. Edit to add, I just checked Google... once you go above 4 courses it can start to compress the mortar, especially in cold weather when it doesn't get time to set...but according to you... "It's because its not liquid" 😅😅😅
Whats the Bet he's the only Bricklayer on site the rest of the brickys wil be in the house saying look at that mad B&stard working in the rain with wet Blocks and Bricks
Bloody Hell, I don’t think I know any brickies who stop on site in the rain and put up a gazebo 👍🏻🇬🇧,,, Hey Charlie what’s that blue thing you put in the joint 🤔,,,, Charlie you can’t eat you’re Grandads dinner
There are times when you have to go home, not all of us have gazebos, great idea though.! I was on site a few ago laying conc blocks and it was lashing down, the joints were washing out so a few of us ( who we’re drenched) went home, got a text from the foreman saying not to not to bother coming back. I understand the walls that were built had to be knocked down and re- built..🤷
We were in the house for 11 today Charlie mate way to wet to lay at all ? Even if I had a gazebo we haven’t got the space to put one up ? I have used gazebo/tent for private work before but not when we are house bashing as the developers couldn’t give a shit about brickies nowadays . They will replace you in a heartbeat regardless of how you ‘try to help them out ‘ ? When you get to my age working in the damp isn’t very appealing any more ? Top work though lad .
beiing the fastest ricklayer in the uk maybe good in the short run, getting all that wonga in the bank but your back will give in which begs the question, should i have paced myself. a thing my dad used to tell me as a kid when graftin. i lever listened to him. n now 2 years ago at aged 37, backs fucked.
Charlie’s definitely got the speed but the X factor is seriously lacking some off his brick work is piss poor and I have watched dozens of his videos a lot of room for improvement quality over quantity everytim3 for me but each to there own
It was so fun and satisfying to watch through this video, and also the converstations and seeing how you all work together was very nice! Thank you!
Spot on with being persistent in the weather many just go home .

I was under my gazebo today, cost under a days wages, but I’ve had 7 days under it so far the last 2 months. Well worth it
Perfect way to look at it ..
Top G ...... mate..!!
On another level...😁

Makes me laugh the amount of gear you guys have i used to turn up with a small bag n me level, you even have a tent haha.
I love how you don't edit the farts out - that's a true professional right there gents, honest as they come.
Dude lion heart bro seriously thank for showing them
Nothing like doing a job you enjoy, getting well paid and keeps you fit
You're Mrs is a better Brick layer than most people I've seen x
Where is Amy ? Has she lost her trowel ?
@@iantully6906probably seen sense and will find it around June time 😂
How come the blocks are 140x290mm? Is it to keep the weight down with manual handling as a 440mm one would be too heavy?
I’m a daily viewer now mate lol
What I’ve noticed last 3 days is you’ve taken in to account what some people have commented like adding more real time footage so fair play good content creator tbh
Ace how you got all that internal wall up under the gazebo whilst it was chucking it down
Keeps clients happy they make money whilst you chase the nuts 😂
All seasons gazebos are brilliant, I set mine up for bbq.
I've always wondered why the weight of the wall itself doesn't squeeze out the mortar before it has time to stiffen up.
Because it's not a liquid..
@@georgemartin6389 Get a bit of muck and squeeze it between your fingers and tell me what happens.
@@billabong9215 not a very good example, that's a point load. Think of it like filling you palm with muck and pressing your other hand on top

Wet but at least you got on with the work 👍👍👍👍
One thing i like about Charlie he does not mind splashing the cash to make the job easier
Great stuff Charlie an the gang.❤
Great video Charlie
Your right Charlie wee bit of rain never hurts anyone
Where did you get the gazebo from charlie? They good in the wind and what not ? Looks like a top investment
Terrible in the wind but, a few blocks on the feet and you are fine.
im sure the lad in the grey hoodie used to work at bellway riverview labouring?
Glad I never worked in the building industry! Watching this would put me off for life !
Whats the Bet he's the only Bricklayer on site the rest of the brickys wil be in the house saying look at that mad B&stard working in the rain with wet Blocks and Bricks
Funny you say that. There was 2 gangs on site. Both worked in it. Both foreign gangs
were they polish aswell@@CharlieCollison
What size are those blocks ? I’ve never seen those before, not in this country anyway
Where can we buy those pop up gazebos?
Good work Charlie nice to see you working with your brother is Amy taking a break from bricks
For me working in the winter has been paying off for years and years now
where do you get the small bags to cover bricks be a good pressie for my moaning hubby always moaning that bricks/blocks never dry
1:18 👌👌
MORE GLUE PLEASE TYLER! 👍🏻
which trowels do you use
👍 🌟
Says a lot about UK tradesmen when you have to justify working in a bit of drizzle
Another daily viewer, it's not greed, it's wanting a proper wage
What''s with the bunker blocks?
Cool cool
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Charlie quick question
Did you work on the hills job in cambridge glebe road it was two 2.5 million houses with site manager tom hill ?
we use them blocks atm we call them middys or dumpys, abosulte shocking things i hate them xD prefer the old grunters
Yes Charlie
whats the white handle trowel?
Bloody Hell, I don’t think I know any brickies who stop on site in the rain and put up a gazebo 👍🏻🇬🇧,,, Hey Charlie what’s that blue thing you put in the joint 🤔,,,, Charlie you can’t eat you’re Grandads dinner
Blue thing is a deboning sleeve for a tie👍
Slip tie; plastic bit.
How comes the 140s are shorter mate
24 mx gazebos are great
Absolutely hate those concrete 140’s but at least yours were the shorter ones
As long as you can keep that muck dry, then go for it!
There are times when you have to go home, not all of us have gazebos, great idea though.! You should go back and check if the walls really were taken down if they were not then you will have to think about the appropriate action to take
Oh no. Them beast blocks. Mans game on them bro Dine them years ago. Worse when wet
If its half as big put it in twice as fast!
What line is that charlie ?
Brilliant video
Didn’t realise h had a brother and he was a brickie mate
top graft

Didn’t know u had a little Bro Charlie ?
Miss my brother ❤

Us masons always have the hottest girlfriends out of any trade 😂😂😂😂 FACTS
I'd have worded the title slightly differently, game of thrones has forever ruined me
Charlie you really need to learn to put the line On the back with bloody awkward blocks like that
What is harry doing nowadays?
Man those blocks look awkward as hell to lay.
Charlie’s definitely got the speed but the X factor is seriously lacking some off his brick work is piss poor and I have watched dozens of his videos a lot of room for improvement quality over quantity everytim3 for me but each to there own
This Is ood
Ello stranger
Small concrete 6 inch you English get it easy
😂 was thinking that myself don’t see many thermolite or trench blocks up this way 🏴
Yea West of Ireland here the only half blocks are if you cut them yourself
They're probably short because of the Newton value. 10+ Newton blocks, means they are denser and therefore a lot heavier
It’s a miracle you manage to make a living on site sides are crap unless you’re willing to work yourself to death. You’ll never make any money.
Them ties look evil
Short Amy
Charlie’s banter is awkward
Desprate man
GREED
Lads like this f@k the game for everyone.
Poor choice of title there unless it was intentional 😂😂
