New sub here. Great video. That beach view is awesome. Those pancakes look so good. One thing you might want to get, would be a plastic spatula so as not to scratch the cooking surface of your cookware.
@ def on my list now! Also are you from the west coast…? Im in the east, and have so many spots I’d like to visit and camp at! Imagine Grand Canyon camping…. If that’s even a thing lol. But the possibilities are endless!
Hi Taylor! Great video. My wife and I travel in our Tesla quite a bit, but we never use mileage display, always percent. Do you find any value of displaying one way or the other?
@@DomAndHeatherEVTravel hi!! Thanks for commenting! I think it all comes down to personal preference..a couple people have asked me the same thing, and for me personally I’m able to better gauge my calculations in miles because I can relate that to the distance I’m driving. Percentage feels a bit vague to me, especially as I get below 30% (which I’ve figured out that 30% is about 100mi of range remaining on the long range). But I try to include both miles and percentage in my videos in case people like to view it differently 😊
It depends on where you live but I like to use recreation.gov to find campgrounds around California. Usually I start with Google searching campgrounds in the area/park I’m going to and from there I find results
Hey new subscriber here! Watched a couple of these and was wondering- do you ever plug the car in to the RV power hookup at campsites that have it? I've had my Model Y to a few and used the mobile charger to charge the car and run the camp mode overnight. Keep up the good work!
@@jawaring thanks so much for subscribing!!! I have done this a few times, however it charges so slow that it doesn’t really make a difference for me. If I am in an area within reasonable proximity to a supercharger then I don’t bother with plugging into an RV site. But when I did my trip to Utah and camped in Zion and Kanab, I definitely plugged in at the RV site. Most RV sites only have 30amp instead of 50amp electrical so it charges much slower. But thanks for commenting and happy Tesla camping!
Retail cost of Zen Stax is $29 and makes approximately 10 - 6in pancakes per their website, those better be freaking extraordinary at that price ( Jun 2024 ) but I will pass and buy some other brand that costs way less.
They are freaking extraordinary. And they’re healthy and vegan and don’t have a bunch of bad ingredients. By the time you buy all the supplies to make an equivalent pancake (flour, eggs, bananas, chocolate chips, etc) it ends up being about the same price. But you don’t have to buy them.
The spot she parked in only has 20/30 amp service. She would have needed the Tesla Mobile Connector ($250) plus a TT-30 adapter ($60) and she would have only added 6 miles per hour at 120 V 30 A (minus the power needed for camp mode). Not really worth it unless you already have these accessories. A 50-amp RV site is a completely different story.
@@taylordencermedia If you have a few moments I'd like to ask you about your experiences with the Model Y. You still like it? Any problems or disappointments? What year is it and do you plan on getting the refresh Juniper model whenever it comes out? Actually it looks like fun what you are doing, nice beach but camp sites are right on top of each other. Stay cool. :)
@@DrRussPhd I love my model Y. I’ll never go back to a gas car after this. No problems or disappointments whatsoever, it’s been extremely reliable and so much fun. Bought it a year ago but no I’m not getting the refresh. Thanks for all the questions!

@@jamesburns2753 thank you so much for the sub!! Glad you enjoyed it!
I thought about a silicone spatula but idk the metal just works better lol
Cool video! omg the pancakes!
Thank you! The pancakes are so delicious and made it super easy to cook!
Good to see your channel growing, keep up the good work 💯 💪
Thank you!
Great video as usual. Big East Coast fan. So helpful. Planning my trip to the Pez museum in Connecticut.
Thank you!! Have fun!
I've been to that campground many time and same with the collection supercharger!!!

Hey Taylor, was gonna ask, how do the Zen Stax taste, but you just answered my question, lol! Thank you!!
@@thekushness haha they taste amazing!!! There are several different flavors and I’ve tried many of them, they’re so great!

Really enjoyable camping video. Stay safe 🙏

This is "camping". This is a parking lot.
@@DrRussPhd yeah, I know. It’s more of an RV camp, with beachfront camping where you can pitch a tent in the sand.
