Actually, Greblon does include a PTFE layer for most of its kitchen applications. So, for those who thought they were avoiding Teflon, well, they did in fact get Teflon-coated ceramic (probably; there are i think 7 variants of Greblon coating for kitchenware). Brilliant marketing by Sttoke, btw.
I was specifically looking for a ceramic interior and then I came across the Sttoke, definitely trialling this (order on the way!)... Thanks for the review.
Need to add a shot of some coffee or some liquid in the cup. I would want to see how it pours and if there is any milk that can get stuck around the lid. This would provide a more authentic review.
Hmm yeah that's not a bad idea. Will consider it next time. But for the sake of the Sttoke, I can assuredly say that the internal Greblon Ceramic is non-stick! :) - Ed.
I agree with most things you’ve pointed out except “spill-proof”. When the cup is accidentally turned sideways or upside down, liquid does indeed spill out of the opening. That was a bit disappointing. Is this true for you? Maybe I got a defected one.
Hmm that is a real bummer! We haven't come across that problem yet, but we haven't tipped the cup over yet! :( Hmm maybe reach out to Sttoke themselves and see if they have anything to comment on that. Good point.
Great cup, but my only issue with the Sttoke is the lid. The design of the lid is simply unpractical. Still leaks, still spill and it is impossible to clean 100% as the sliding closure blocks most of the opening area. Oh yea, and you can never "finish" your beverage unless you remove the whole lid.
that and you can only take the first sip easily then the airhole gets blocked and its under the slide mechanism you cant just blow it out and keep going. so i have to go lid free the whole time which completely defeats the purpose
Hmm hard to say - very different types of products. The Klean Kanteen is awesome for taking coffee with you somewhere, like when you're driving or commuting etc. The lock on that thing is the best. The Sttoke Cup is good if you're using it as a coffee cup for the cafe downstairs or around the corner. Sttoke is good and beautiful don't get me wrong, but Klean Kanteen's one is unmatched in terms of functionality. Hope that helps! - Ed
Another example of these run & gun products that are simply not thoroughly tested & perfected before it’s released to the public. It is not living up to the hype. No company has the Mobil ceramic cup right yet. Keep looking.
It can be disappointing when products don't live up to the hype. Hopefully, the brand will continue refining their designs. Your feedback is valuable in pushing for better quality!
Load of rubbish cup, cannot understand how it gets great reviews. Cannot drink from it easily. Will not get to the bottom. So easy to overfill unless you remind every barista. Cannot clean the lid easily

How about a SoL Cup walk through?
Not a bad idea - maybe! :)

ME TOO! i just got mine. they definitely leak. each time i flip it over to test. it's not meant to be tossed into a bag at all!

Hey guys! Quick random question, what’s your go to/favorite minimalists wallet?
Personally, mine is the Hide & Seek Wallet From Bellroy :)
Why cant I get the Metallic blue Delonghi Sttoke cup in Aus?
We don't stock the Magnetic Blue colour just yet, but you can get it from Sttoke's website.
