Apparently asking for a mug that’s aeropress compatible, ceramic/glass lined, one hand opening, fits in the cup holder, and leak proof is the hardest thing to find.
I agree with your evaluation on the fellow 360 lid. Not only is it my least favourite to drink from ergonomically, but i have spilled coffee all over myself so many times using it. Something about it limiting the flow causes me to tilt the mug further to get more liquid, but the liquid goes past the point where my mouth is. Even when i am using it at my desk when I am not travelling, it does not even work for that use case. I just end up taking the lid off, and it gets residual coffee on the table. This lid is a liability, if anything. I would prefer no lid. The slide lock lid is much better, though I also like the standard lid.
Thank you for your relatively thorough review. However - Contigo West Loop has had the autoseal (push to drink, leak proof when not pushing in the button) since forever. I got my first one like 8-10 years ago. That feature is absolutely not unique to Stanly Trigger model.
@@CabeensCoffeeCorner yes, 6.12 min into the video you say about the Stanley "It has this really unique feature, that I can't believe there's not on any other coffee mug, and it has a button where you can drink from it one handed and when you click it up it's leak proof". The Contigo must have just slipped your mind, and otherwise I really liked your review.
good recording and review, a do a lot of night work in a place where there's no energy, do you know any travel mug with some kind of rechargeable battery that can warm up a cold beverage ? cheers mate
I got some porters the other day. There are ceramic tumblers and stainless steel ceramic coated with a nice twist on lid. They're soooo nice! But don't fit in cup holders, they fit in my super fat cup holder in the front of my old tnc, though, so I can take em with me, but not in normal size cup holders😢
Hi, great review! How looks your experience with Sttoke and holding the temperature? I'm working outside and sometimes my coffee is standing for 2-3h in a 10 degrees or less during the winter. Can you make a simple test, like put hot water to the cup and leave it for 2-3h outside and check out temperature before and after? It would be very helpful. Thanks in advance 👍
What mug would you recommend if you were a disgusting gremlin that forgets to clean their milky coffee remnants out regularly (eg. easiest to clean), and it didn't have to fit into cupholders (will get thrown into the front bike basket for commuting)
Try the Tefal one its 360 dring hot or cold and leak proof as well theee is easy indicator if it's open or closed. it tops all ones you demonistrated but I was looking for close one with smaller size for about 330ml Max but didnt find the one I'm looking for. The Tefal mug is about 400ml and it's huge i think and I would preder smallsr design for 300ml with similar features.
The fellow slide lock lid sucks. I’ve been through three. Even had one replaced and after a lot of back and forth and pictures of the problem they sent me a new one. It leaked too. I threw them away. Too bad. Oh, and I wasn’t the only one having that problem. They have to be aware that their design just doesn’t work.
I bought the Fellow Carter Move with slide lock lid. After a month of use, it started to leak. Dont know if its something with the bottle or the lid itself. A boomer cause its not a cheap mug. Now it goes to the trash :(
@@CabeensCoffeeCornerJust bought the Carter Move, had to lol hard to find somewhere that had the green one in stock for UK. I bought regular lid with intention of also buying the slide lid, unfortunately isn’t on Uk Amazon and all shops that sell seem to be far and too much for shipping
Would love to get your opinion on the purist mug. Don't see much info out there on it but it was what I was going back and forth on between fellow and purist
Really too bad that there aren't any cups that don't release any harmfull micro particles in our drinks, whatever cup we buy there is always some toxic synthethic (or even organic) parts ruining it..
I want to buy 8 OZ Fellow Carter MOVE to drink my latte or cappuccino while I am sitting quietly at home or sitting still at work, so for this small measure (8 oz) and assuming that I drink my latte very slowly In 3 hours sitting in my chair, which Lid would you recommend between the 360 Sip Lid or The Slide Lid? Please help me in this question. I love all your videos, they are very useful when choosing a product
One of the best things about your videos is that you're actually using these on a day to day basis, very informative channel!
Thanks for watching

Apparently!
Very hard to find. Still on the hunt for one. Seems every manufacturer planned for most rather than all of these things.
Any finds ?
@@vilius8173 nothing yet homie, stepped away from saving up for coffee gear to get a PC but will be back to coffee eventually
Personally I go for everything but the cup fitting I’d recommend 3d printing and insert or having one printed

Couldn’t have set it better myself!
I feel you overlooked how long it'll keep the beverages cold or hot.
I didn’t over look it, I’ve just never had an issue with either of those things
Stanley vacuum trigger is my go to for hot tea. I never thought of using it for cold drinks. Thanks for the comparisons

One of the very few who actually mention cleaning. I’ve thrown so many away because they get icky with milk and they can’t be cleaned properly.
It’s a hug factor
Do you plan to review Camelbak Thrive 600mL? Its leakproof and can keep cold drinker up longer. Cannot decide between Stokke or Camelbak!
I’ll try and ad it to my list

In 2.5 hours in 53 degree weather it dropped from 203 degrees to 132 degrees. If you preheat the mug it would give better results
