I ordered my kit and looked up an instructional video and found a literal perfect video uploaded a month ago. My year, my kit and just perfect instructions for my dumb ass. I appreciate you so much.
Perfect instructional video. Worked perfect after install but then having issues with my battery dying? Does it pull too much power from battery? Any thoughts?
Thanks! No, it doesn’t pull anything from the battery until you try to start it. You may want to check your battery and get it load tested. Any auto parts store can do it for free. Hope this helps
Does this kit require that your vehicle already has remote start capability? I have the stock 2019 4Runner SR5 with no bells and whistles, would this kit work on my vehicle?
No, this kit gives your car remote start. If you have factory remote start, you wouldn’t need to add remote start. Yes, this kit should work on your Runner. Theres 2 different kits for the 4Runner, one with Key start and one with push-button start. This kit was for key start.
If you don’t buy any extended range remotes, the range is as far as your original key fob. You can get extended range for up to a mile (walls and trees will affect that max range).
Hello. This is Cherry from Coverado. Are you interested in working with us to try our SUV air mattress or magnetic car phone holder and help us make a video?
I dont like how it keeps clicking after releasing the lock button. I wish it would just auto start after pressing 3rd time. Flashing parking lights? Sure, clicky click? Nah ...
Yeah I get it, but that’s what it’s supposed to do. You wouldn’t hear any of that. Most people don’t remote start their car inside their car. Clicks mean it’s working and functioning like it’s supposed to.
