Can Colin answer a troubleshooting question? HU is Alpine ILX-407 2021 Tundra rear camera was not as clear on install as the old factory HU. Camera also was intermittent. Verified that camera is good by testing it with the factory HU. Im stuck w/ a camera that’s works when it wants to now and wondering if your staff has fielded similar questions and have a solution. I did buy an Alpine camera HCE C1000 and tested that with the Alpine HU and all works perfectly so there’s and issue with the factory camera and Alpine HU communication. Has TGP experienced this on the Toyotas?

You guys clearly showed what the sound delay can do on Alpine stereos and wow, amazing how a small correction delay in distance from ear to each speaker can make. Try listening to “Time” by PF after making the adjustments, the alarm clock bells circle you. Thx

Can you still use the trucks stock microphone?

The Alpine 6X9 set that comes directly from Alpine includes inline crossovers that they instruct to wire before the mid/tweeter. Your bundle doesn’t look like the inline crossovers are included. Does that mean you’re sending a full-range signal to the mid/tweet?

Why are the left and right amp gains set to only 9 O’Clock? Can’t you crank them up to max? The Alpine 6X9 in the door can take 80 watts RMS and the amp is putting out only 45W RMS.

Hello TGP. I have purchased this kit for my ‘20 taco non-jbl. I will not be amp’ing these and just run them with the factory HU for now. I don’t plan on upgrading my HU but will add an amp later with pertinent signal processor. I would like to know, would this kit allow for a 3/4” kicker KS tweeter integration to make it a 3-way set up? And would an amp be necessary at that point? I really don’t crank my music and would prefer to add dome tweeters first since it seems like a simpler (and cheaper) install than an amp (but of course an amp would come later). Edit: The dome tweeter addition being to the front door/dash set up, likely mounted on the front door panel sail trim.

This installation is not for the faint of heart and if it wasn't for this video I would have never gotten it done. The routing of cables is NOT easy. Gave up on connecting the HDMI/USB adapter as the TGP installation guide gives no indication on how to route. The Maestro/Sirius boxes will not stick together and is hanging up and not staying with the head unit with the Velcro tape. Took a total of 3 hours to install for my 2015 Toyota Tundra.

i dislike everything about my 21 tundra speakers, but my main issue is the max volume, are these going to help with that much or are they more just for sound quality because i really want to turn it up to the max and enjoy it but the stock speakers are just too quiet.
