    The stripping he mentioned at 7:24, can be avoided by using the plate in the tool case you see if you stop the video at that point. A better view is at 8:00. Larger hole saws require this plate or, other tools use a different method to engage the two holes in the saw and some even have 4.

    My compliments, you did a nice job. You took the time to think about it and lay it out the right way. Like they say measure twice and do it right once! LOL The idea of the extra brace on the ends and the straps is smart too. When that tank gets a lot of water in it it will be heavy and the water will be sloshing which puts a lot of stress on things. The extra bracing and straps are a very smart idea! I plan to follow along as you go. I am always on the look out for good ideas to use in my conversion build. Good luck on yours keep up the good work. Respectfully JOHN

    Instead of using the smaller tank in the front, would you be able to plumb the toilet to use the larger gray tank? Reason i ask is Im building out an almost identical trailer (legend 7x19 FTV). Great work btw.

    Thanks again for all your time helping us out…my application doesn’t allow for the aluminum angle pieces, I’m fabricating two straps to mount side to side and up to the supports, ‘U’ shaped if you get it…but I’m not sure what gauge thickness to use. Any suggestions? And should I choose Alum vs Steel? Thanks!

    • @scottgorman7166
      @scottgorman7166 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question. The answer to that is how much humidity is where you live.....more is better. I used to live on the coast and use this all the time and dried in a couple of days. Now I live in the high desert and humidity is very low....it doesn't dry, stays sticky. So now I'm using Locktite PL Marine fast cure and usually in 1.5 days its good to go. Home Depot or Lowes.
