Yea, this was straight bullshit. She's full of excuses, and she lied. I can tell the judge didn't catch that lie. He should've bought evidence. She should've let him sign them papers. I'm sure he rather be happy than always lied too.

Not sure what the judge means by no proof. There is definitely reason to think that she’s either lost interest, getting attention from other men, or just straight up lying. This case was poorly handled in my opinion

I don’t think she’s cheating. I think that she’s finally getting to enjoy life and I think Covid changed his thinking and his health and he doesn’t have the desire to do what he used to do. But a marriage consist of both putting effort into it. They both have to meet each others needs. And talk to each other when things aren’t right in your marriage. I’ve been married 35+ years and needs change throughout your marriage. It’s never gonna be perfect, but you love and trust each other through those imperfections.

Whilst I don't agree with her lying to him thinking it will please him, I believe he is very insecure. When she was home all those times taking care of house and child when he was on the road, he had it under control. He seems to have lost control because now that she has spread her wings a little and wants to do more, he obviously thinks someone is going to snatch her up from him and he will lose her. The facts are is that his weight has become a major insecurity for him, and he thinks that if he drops the ball first and divorces her, it will be a cover up to him leaving her and not she being the one to leave him, so that others may say, "look at you, no wonder she left you." What they can do together is start exercising, motivating each other, that is also spending time together, isn't it? He wants the comedy club scene because it keeps him hidden a lot more than if they go to a bar or be it a club. All problems in marriage doesn't need to lead to divorce, sometimes it just needs a mediator to talk some sense and drop some knowledge to the couple.

I’m worried about his health. Whether or not we think she’s sketchy, sitting at home during COVID probably took a toll on his ability to exercise and stamina and that’s the real reason he won’t accompany her anymore to the places she likes to go. Did you hear him breathing heavy struggling to walk down the hallway? I hope she loves him as much as she says she does because from personal experience he’s going to need someone to get him out and moving instead of sitting in trucks and on couches before he has a heart attack.

That's the exact same thing I was thinking.... I was thinking that maybe him not wanting to go places that she wants to go is basically him not wanting to go these places because he won't have the stamina to walk or to dance..... The breathing in the hallway was really telling. I'm not sure why he wants to get a divorce now when it seems that he is not doing well. He's not thinking about the possibility of him dying alone in a house.

@@serious7179 i think the fact that he wanted a divorce "now" given his clear health issues highlights the fact that he really is done. He's not terribly worried about being alone, he's more worried about being happy and with someone he can trust. From the sound of it, he can't trust her AND is unhappy with her. Since that is the case, I think he should have served her those papers.

Her lie went from I couldn't put that day in to if I knew he was going to do all that I would've put that day in." Which means she could've put that day in. She just didn't want too. She was a single mother for years! Her husband was a long haul trucker! She practically lived their entire marriage functioning as a single mother! He probably is home full time now or shorter jobs! I’m a truck, driver, a faithful truck driver. And I can tell you about faithful truck drivers. We don’t like over the road trips because it keeps us from home weeks at a time. Then, we only have a couple of days to spend with the family. Then, we’re back on the road again. They probably never spent a lot of time together, due to him being out of town all the time. Plus, if you are not disciplined, you will eat and gain weight and become unhealthy over the road. So, there is no growth on either side. They just never spent enough time together to know where each person was in their social life. And by the way, women cheat, just as much as men do they drive over the road. For your information.

He got skooled when she didn't show up at that motel. HIS idea of romance was putting junk around the bed and using her body. Yey! HER idea of romance would have been him waiting for her when she got off work, all dressed, with flowers and singing the first song they ever danced together to, while pulling her close and dancing next to the car, before pulling out a flower, putting it to her cheek and giving hwr a soft kiss, then openning the car door and taking her to their first restaurant ( or her favorite restaurant or wherever she's been saying she's been wanting to eat lately)
