I agree! I immediately got back on birth control as soon as I met my ex fiance. All he could talk about from our first date (which was amazing) was having a daughter with me. He was literally obsessed. I never knew a man who talked about having a child so much. I didn’t immediately think anything was wrong with it since we only had boys between us bc he only had sons with his ex wife & I had 1 son. Still, I insisted on us growing our relationship and getting married first. If you love me that much to have a child, you’re going to have to marry me. Period. Lord, I’m so glad I did that. Within 8 months he turned into a monster & I was able to see he was a narcissist who was love bombing me. We had a good relationship until the mask fell off & we broke up. That was the worst breakup I’ve ever had. It hurt like hell & I was depressed for months afterwards. Looking back, I’m so thankful to God I had the sense He gave me to protect myself. If not, I would’ve been forced to have him in my life forever and been miserable bc he’sa terrible guy. Ladies, please protect your womb & wait until a man shows up as he should by marrying you BEFORE you have children. It’ll save you a world of heartache.

It appears to be a common theme, which runs through most of these relationships, to go out and hook up with another when there appears to be a break! Rather than reflecting on what the problem or issue is and working out the best way to fix things, it seems easier for most people to extend these insecurities to other people and create more mess!! If this is human nature, then there is no wonder there is so much pain, trauma, and suffering in the world.
