well i got MPPS working but i get no ECU info. Ive tried new cords and Ross tech works great. Im clicking on the correct ECU but it wont read. I click full k line and med speed ive also tried slow. i do this with a battery charger on the car.

Sometimes if you have vcds drivers installed it can interfere with the mpps cable

When I connect it all to laptop and obd2 i click mpps software it just says exit and start and then serial I click start and it gives me an error an closes

Depends on the ECU, but usually no risk with reading.

I got mpps v16 solution without Loader... Just plug in cable...start Mpps. Run.

3. only cables that are supposed to read/write ecus. Examples are mpps v16, galletto fgtech v54, and best is kess v2 5.017.

0:17 I would use a regulated linear power supply. I wouldn't want to flash with an old charger it might have massive ac ripple and 50/60hz noise.

4 to choose from just hit read ecu I’d on them till it tells you which one gives you the vin number etc

Whenever I try to read ECU, I get an error saying security access denied, cars charged, ignitions on, power pack connected. I've had no luck googling the error, any advice?

It is normal for mpps v13, mpps v16 have security bypass, make sure you checkbox. And if it doesn't work, try at least hour on ignition, then plug mpps cable and read it.
