- By request - some more detail on what VAG Suite can do. In this case boost limiting and atmospheric pressure.

Used this years ago and having to revisit, working in IT i've forgtten alot of the tricks of the software, that and getting older lol, thanks for posting these mate, much useful.

Boost limiter description was bang on, but it seemed to digress off to smoke limiters for some reason. When setting a boost limiter on a modified file, it's always worth adding another 50-100mbar to the limiter. The standard boost PID maps aren't tuned for that type of target, so it's easy on a TDI to have an overboost. A higher limiter will prevent limp mode and boost pressure oscillations and random puffs of smoke during peak boost that I seem to see far too often on poorly mapped TDIs.

ok mate i have a passat 130 tdi and just ordered the mpps cable, can you make a video of what to start out with editing the map, fuel, boost, torque limiter. I dont mind it i break anything either.
I've just started using VAGSUITE and manged to map in launch control (For show) and EGR Delete ... It would be nice to start learning about IQ and SOI ... and the sort of safe values ;) Yeah I vouch for this would be a nice series to have.

+UsableKnowledge Clone MPPS lead for me also.. and only works on Diesels
The software only work's on the diesels, far as I'm aware anyway.. sorry didn't really detail that comment properly
any videos on how to do a hard cut limiter?
appreciate your help on this, so far I have changed the torque map and smoke map. The restrictive factor left over seems to be the SOI and duration maps? do you know if vagsuite can edit the value data?
I.e can I add 55mg column in there? or is it winols only job?

So does VAGSuite work with non VAG vehicles as well or is it only made to map VAG? I own a Chrysler PT Cruiser and I'm building it for rally, I'd like to tune it but I don't have access to a dyno, nor the money to have someone with a dyno test my car. Not to mention the closest dyno to me is over five hours away.

I just started to learn about this whole tuning/modifying business, and was wondering if I can download my map from my car with a KESS V2 and use VAGsuite to modify the map and rewrite my ecu using KESS again? Or do I need to use their software,ECM titanium?

hi bro can you please assist me with my MPPSv16 cable i recently flashed a Mk5 Gti 2.0T with a file and i don't like the file so i'm trying to re-flash the car but now the MPPS software wont connect it says 'Ecu Not Found' i tried it in slow mode and i tried everything. I'm stumped and any advice would help! please i will even pay. Also is there any bench harness for Me9.5? thank you sir. hope to hear from you asap.

Good day, I installed this program , but when I open the map, it doesn't say Torque limiter or Injection pressure on the left, but only 2D and numbers as well as 3D and numbers, do you know why? Thanks for your reply.
Those are maps which aren't recognised by the software. They might be something for the ecu to use, but you need to experiment manually. Extensively.

Vagsutie does not recognise any maps when i open my cars ecu file? any idea why ?
It only works for some cars - what type are you opening?
A4 B6 1.8t20v the ECU is a Bosch ME7.5

I DOWNLOADED THE SOFTWARE BUT MY VAGEDC ONLY SHOWS 3D AND 2D OPTION ON THE LEFT HAND AND NOT LIKE YOURS WHERE IT SHOWS BOOST, EGR, FUEL AND ALL THOSE DESCRIPTIONS. IM RUNNING VAGEDC AS AN ADMINISTRATOR AND STILL DOES NOT GIVE ME A DESCRIPTION OF THE MAPS ANY IDEAS?
What vehicle map have you loaded in? It does auto-detection of maps but it doesn't work for all cars.
i loaded an audi and, and a bmw and none of the the showed the discriptions

when I load maps on VAG EDC15P+ Suite it does not recognize the maps
so I don't have any recognized Maps it just gives me a bunch of numbers
The software is like twenty years old. What car did the maps come from?

+emre dagyaran It allows you to do checksums after modifying a file which will tell you if its good or bad.
