I'm in Atlanta. Atlanta is BEAUTIFUL and shows what is possible with black leadership and I adore the city. But Georgia hates Atlanta and wants to take it backwards so I'm considering Richmond because I've been there before and thought it was really nice.
Maymont is beautiful! The "West End" is not clearly defined...some people refer to the western side of Richmond City as the "Near West End" and the portion of Henrico County between Richmond City and the Goochland County line as the "Far West End."
I get it! I'm fortunate that I don't experience too much in my neighborhood, but crime is a real issue that Richmond will have to keep taking seriously.

That's out in Henrico...you have to go out Broad St. past Staples Mill Road.

Alot of us rather live in NOVA but cant afford it, lol.
I was personally happy to leave the DMV, but it obviously offers things that Richmond never will.
