Why even have pre-ordered available for things if your stock is so limited it sells out in under an hour of announcement? First Amiibos, then Majora's Mask Special Edition, now the Majora version of the New 3DS. And if you are making something so limited, at least raise the price. That way it de-incentives the "well I just wanted a new 3ds, but I might as well get this cooler one, its the same price" people from buying them up, and leaves them for the people who actually really want the special edition. Geez Nintendo, learn to business.
I really want the Majora's edition of New 3DS XL.... I wasn't sure at first wether or not to buy a new 3DS, and I knew if I did I would get New 3DS XL, and now I finally have a permanent reason to buy one. MAJORA'S MASK!!!!! It may take me awhile to save up though... Also, love your channel!! Sometimes your theories are way better than even the Game Theorists. (Like Smash is Autistic)
Now lets just continue to resell old games and make billions.

I would recommend it as a first-time way of exploring any comment section,and skip the others comments after that, it's just full of people complain g that this direct has no new games or something,(Although that is true,but at least I know 75% of them from 2014 and not get confuse,plus,what do you expect,this isn't E3,what are you,spoil people? (Then again,I never been to a E3 before,but still.),I wasn't expecting new games that are announce in this video.) I just think you rather avoid this video with the comments.
That's my opinion though.
nintendo no longer does any E3 announcements, now everything is on the nintendo directs, the only reason to be in E3 as a nintendo fan would be to try out the games in the nintendo treehouse

the direct is good, i actually liked xenoblade for the first time lol (it might even compete with FFXV in landscapes) but everybody is obviously waiting for games that already took long to reappear, like starfox and metroid, which nintendo had them quite forgotten for a while already, it was kind of the same case as omega ruby and alpha saphire, and mayoras mask before it was announced.

Good god, Nintendo. You haven't even been that involved in the shooter genre and Splatoon already looks better than the majority of shooters being released today. Innovation? Check. Colorful, unique graphical style and art direction? Yep. More extensive character customization? There. And you've even got a hub world. In a shooter. Genius.

As for Destiny, I've heard mixed things about it. I'd get it, but I've been skeptical about new shooter IPs (other than the 2 aforementioned) ever since Titanfall was a bit... well... overhyped. Not to say I didn't have fun with it, but I didn't get much playtime out of it. (Titanfall, that is).

Why wou you release new system without an A/C adapter? That's like selling a new car without an engine and saying " you can use your engine from your old car, or just buy a new one". What happens when a parent spends $220 on the new 3DS XL and the employee at target doesn't tell that parent that they need to buy a A/C adapter? The kid doesn't get to play his new console, and the parent might just say " forget it, give me my money back". Think, Nintendo.

Quite a few actually. Nintendo has deleted a few comments, and I've recieved some PMs. I will buy the new 3DS at launch, and I'm sure it'll be my favorite of the "3DS Family of Consoles". But you're right, that will be a problem to the " regular consumer". Its those " regular consuners" that make Nintendo a success.
Robert Lopez my brothers and them claims to say sony is better then nintendo but they never buy their products, so basically it's always a word of war, but I continued to buy nintendo products. I had a gamecube but when I went to work, came back home my crack addict cousin sold it, I was pissed, the 26 free games for the 3ds wasn't all that good but at least it was free, the only games I kept were the zelda games and mario games. the new amibo 3ds doesn't come soon enough.
Correction 200 dollars, and its been the same charger for almost ten years! They sell them on amazon for literally pennies!!
Correction: Every retailer must charge a 9% tax on new products, which will roughly be around $220. Another correction: A Nintendo made A/C adapter for the 3DS family of consoles is about $8-9 on amazon. Which brings me to my point, if it cost NIntendo pennies to manufacture their A/C adapters, why not just package them with thier console? Great logic though, kid. Go outside and discover how the real world works, then " try" and make sense on youtube comments.

It's kinda sad. I mean look at all the effort that nintendo is doing to fix its error. People call Nintendo Wii U a fail because it's new.... PS4/Xbox one consoles are boring , for me you don't have to to agree to my opinion. It's like coca cola and pepsi same thing but different name. Xbox and playstation have almost same game ( but a handful of exclusives ). While nintendo tries to actually make games that aren't on other platform and are unique. People complain that the games are always the same and new gen consoles are always the same and they get bored. But when you give them something new they complain too. Watafaka.

***** I doubt it. For a main series Zelda game, the "pay to play" doesn't have a good way of working. I suppose they could add DLC, but I don't mind paying for DLC if it's something I want. If not, I won't buy it. That easy.
***** If Nintendo goes too far, then they'll lose business. If they lose business, they will likely decrease the amount of DLC. Unlike most other companies, Nintendo very clearly listens to its fans. I don't think they'll abuse DLC to get extra $ when they have so many successful ips already. Nintendo is many things, but it isn't usually the type to cut corners or swindle its consumers.

I agree with about 3/4 of this. Pokemon mostly chills around the handhelds, and I personally don't like the idea of an MMO. Plus even though they don't have "mature" games, they still have older people playing.
I'm okay with the adaptor. It's not that big of a deal since a lot of people getting the New 3Ds already have from the 3DS, and 3DS XL, and DSi, and DSi XL. Second why do people complain there's no new IPs. Splatoon, Wonderful 101, etc. People aren't talking about those for some reason.

I predicted that the next FE game would be on Wii U, and would be a sequel to Awakening, since it's my first FE game I knew and the most favorite. And the most recent one. I AM hyped but I'm kind of disappointed on one side...
Awakening was also my first FE game and I also thought that the next FE game would be a sequel to awakening like radiant dawn to path of radiance but I am not disappointed at all with the FE game announced.....in fact I like it :)
I'm not disappointed at the game itself, I'm saying when I found out the storyline wasn't going to be like the one I wanted, that was when I felt a little disappointed.
Yeah, I'm just happy that they're making a new Fire Emblem game. My first was the original GBA, and I've played most since. Fire Emblem Awakening was my favourite, due to the awesome characters, the character creation, and the amazing support conversations.

Most people where excited about the idea of customizing the 3DS with new face-plates.

This Direct was absolutely stunning, but I was really looking forward to the faceplates and more portable size of the standard New 3DS. It's not even that Nintendo fans always complain. We're a bunch of whiners, but c'mon. We are the only region that ISN'T getting faceplates. It really killed the excitement for me and many others.
I just want the normal size cause I personally hate the XL size :/ so like idk if they'll release it and if.l should wait

Why does no one seem to be excited about the new Fire Emblem? I know there wasn't really anything new shown but the fact that it exists and looks decently far into development made me scream from excitement.

I was hoping it would be a Wii U title. Plus Fire Emblem appeals to a small part of the fanbase. Most people only know Fire Emblem from Smash and not their games.

Region lock-out is a digital form of racism excluding people from enjoying the content they love just based on location. You might not be affected directly, but Nintendo currently doesn't make any profit. Also why are the Xbox one and ps4 region free and the wiiu locked? I just want to play taiko no tatsujin, beatmania etc. What's wrong with that?

That's ridiculous! How many money and space do you think I have?

Austin Terry It's called Ancient Mew. It was a promo given out to people who went to see the second Pokemon movie in theatres, and also at Pokemon leagues. So it's kinda rare. Was never legal for tournament play or anything, and it's super weak, too, so it's really only worth anything to collectors (I wish I still had mine! I lost it years ago).

HombreAlabama Flipnote Studio is an app that was on the DSi and it was very popular, untill it ended on May 31 2013 for the new Flipnotes 3D, but that never came outside of Japan and they are hogging it!!! (well not completely, they disconnected Flipnotes Gallery: Friends because of inappropriate use, kinda like Swap Notes)

That might not sound like much, but think about it, me trading in a 3ds for a new one makes me seem ungrateful. Especially to the person who gave it to me, their pretty stingy. I do agree it's not really fair to leave America out of the loop with a regular sized new 3DS but I'm not too bothered for it considering that I'd still go for the new 3DS XL anyway.
Don't worry. After the demand, you can surely expect kiskae plates being on Nintendo's next gen handheld. What I really hope is that they only make the system in one size so you don't have to choose between two versions.

Xenoblade Chronicles X looks REALLY cool to run around in, fly and drive in but is that it? no story footage.. no date, no fighting.. all it showed was a pretty world to run around in. I hope theres more to it

Nintendo showed off the story at E3 and everyone complained about the faces and not enough gameplay. They show gameplay and now people complain about no story. I have a feeling there will be a Xenoblade Chronicles X direct. They did say stay tune for more information, and its such a large game they have to do it. They did it with Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 and Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. twice.

Xenoblade is one of them, Idk about trading in my 3DS for the New 3DS xl, I'll wait til' summer or spring in order to get those games.

For everyone complaining I have a question... what exactly were you expecting? This is a direct in January, not e3. You should have known going in there weren't going to be multiple new big games announced. Don't get me wrong, if nintendo screws up I'm all for criticizing them, such as the Toad amiibo support (theres an amiibo no one's gonna buy.) But they talked about what they said they were going to talk about, games coming out in the spiring and they were pretty thorough while keeping a solid pace.
What was I expecting? A New 3DS of my preferred size. Now I'm torn between settling for one I don't like, or waiting to see if they do actually release it later, and quite possibly skipping it altogether. Plus, needing to buy the AC adapter separately? That's the kind of hidden-extra-cost crap I expect from other companies, not Nintendo.
Plus, as a Treasure Tracker fan, I will buy a Toad amiibo. Hi, I'm No One. Pleased to meet you.
New Fire Emblem though. Direct was worth it for that alone.

We love customizing. Your reason explanation, Different territories make their own business decisions regarding individual products and timing. We think New Nintendo 3DS XL makes the most sense for our market. Nintendo makes different systems at different price points for a whole range of consumers, and New Nintendo 3DS XL simply expands those choices even further. TonyKanameKuran I played the first Metroid Prime game way back when I was still in high school, a very long time ago. They followed that series with a horrendous poor-man's Ninja Gaiden pretending to be a Metroid game. I get a sense this series is not really a priority for them.
I'm really liking everything except for the idea of these pay more to play more micro transactions. Please don't make a habit out of this Nintendo. Its a shady business that breeds a lot of greed. I think you are better than this.

Releasing a system without charger is just begging for CLASS ACTION. Just look at how Apple is being sue for 16GB storage limiting upgrade to newer iOS. Not releasing face plated regular new 3DS is disappointing if not outright disrespecting consumer choice. (forcing us to shell out extra cash for "better" larger more expensive console that not everyone prefers). Region lock is still in place for a console of this modern age. I wonder who makes all these decision in the company, because that person is living in 1930s or have some kind of anti consumer crusade in their heart.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate made me know and love fire emblem Fates (and three houses). If there is a remastered version for Switch, I will definitely buy it, although it is unlikely, so I plan to find a second-hand one.❤
