My dog can eat a McDonald's cheeseburger in one bite, then 30 seconds later he spits out the pickle. I don't know how he does that. The wild possums take some dog food and chew it well. I like those guys.

My grandma gave me an old book called Persimmon Jim about the life of a possum told from the possum's point of view. He goes walking through the woods, climbing fences, looking for a mate. He gets captured but he's so cute the man let's him go. I've always loved possums after reading that book!

I have several possums in my garden, we feed and housed them in nesting wooden boxes. They are so sweet and adorable.
My math teacher Mrs. Swope said she found a possum in her house eating the pet's food. She hit the possum. Then it just looked up at her and jumped and hung itself on the ceiling by its own tail where it couldn't be hit.

They really chew their food well. My dog takes one or two chews at most then it’s down the hatch. Gulp.
