My grandma gave me an old book called Persimmon Jim about the life of a possum told from the possum's point of view. He goes walking through the woods, climbing fences, looking for a mate. He gets captured but he's so cute the man let's him go. I've always loved possums after reading that book!

My math teacher Mrs. Swope said she found a possum in her house eating the pet's food. She hit the possum. Then it just looked up at her and jumped and hung itself on the ceiling by its own tail where it couldn't be hit.

I'm a little jealous here. This opossum is particularly cute. My sister found a dead momma in the middle of a road 2 years ago and she mindfully checked the momma's pouch and discovered 5 babies, which she promptly brought home. The babies were the most darling little critters and we gave them lots of love and warmth until a rescue center agreed to take them. We knew not to try and feed them from a previous encounter. They're magnificent little creatures and extremely beneficial to humans and other animals.
I know by now this beautiful being has gone to possum Heaven. But, how sincerely adorable that cutie is. Thank you for all the happiness you gave that sweet soul.
adorable...just luv possums. My possum would chew the grapes, swallow and then spit the skin out. Her name was Peaches because they were her favorite although scrambled eggs was a close second. Great video!
