“When I say I love you, you say you better! You better you better you bet!’ 🎶 If you want to do a solo by Pete Townsend, I’ve always loved ‘Let My Love Open the Door’ .Forget it! You’ve done it.
Fantastic wall, welcome back ❤)

Good To see you also
Welcome back 🎉 Love the backdrop! Love The Who!
Thank Yoiu
It's a great song...and it rocks....
It is post Keith Moon....I was heartbroken when Keith passed.
The drummer there was good, but definitely not Moon..♥️💔🎸🎸
Kenney Jones is the drummer here and for the next7-8 years (I think). Kenney was originally with Small Faces, then Faces. When Keith sadly passed away, Pete told Kenny he was the only one they would consider because he was like family and a great friend of Keith's. Small Faces and Who toured alot together in the late 60's and were very close. True, Kenney is not Keith and he didn't try to be like Keith. They were both very fine drummers.
Glad you are back Biz ,album reviews sounds good to me m8 ..
Nice to see ya Biz!! 🙂
I’m happy to see you’re back ! Welcome home brother !
Appreciate it!
Of course you return with THE WHO 🎉😂🎉🎉
Gotta love the shout out to "ol' T. Rex oooh and Who's Next" Saw The WHO for the first time around the time this was released. Pete playing a Fender Telecaster, he is usually a Gibson guy. A band who is fire and you don't hear much about the, how about The Kinks? Pretty damn cool dude.
I love The Kinks oh and The Hollies also
Welcome Back Biz! Missed you! My go to channel 😎👍👍
Thanks Fam
The Kinks often overlooked as one of the greats. As for the Who, the song Athena from Its Hard never gets much love. I've always liked it. Might be a good one to react to.
Hey welcome back! So I take it things worked out for you!
Yes! Thank you!
@@watchbizmatik Will great 👍
The album this came from, "It's Hard," was not well regarded by the critics, but the songs that were played on the radio (this one, Athena, and It's Hard) were great tunes. Pete is one of the best songwriters ever.
I'm glad you mentioned Nazareth...I wanted to give you recommendations that are real rock and roll hidden gems...I see you found one already, Telegram!!! The other is even more hidden and just a short fun song called May The Sunshine. It's like a hit and run accident in a song.
Supertramp, pure art!!!
I agree
Just checked today to see if you had put out any videos.
I was surprised to see you in my notification this evening. Welcome back.
Thank you! Glad To be back
Great to see you again! You were missed!
Oh thank you!
Might have misunderstood you but this song is on Face Dances.
Great that you are back here.
The Biz and The Who...I like it. Hit Another Tricky Day. Same album as this one. 😎😎Album reviews...Let it rock
Hiw you doin Biz? Good to see your reviewing again!👍👍
Good to see you back in action.
Good to be back
Welcome back my brother
Thank you
More The Who? You Better You Bet!
🌽 🥁🌽 😅
great pun 🙃
@@luckylisa5496 corny 🌽🌽🤣
So happy you have returned. And who better to start with than the Who! One of my favorite bands and a real banger of a song. Yes, I would love to see full album reviews and Who's Next is an excellent choice. I think it would be great to really do a deep dive into the groups, the songs and the background of the music. Personally, I love to learn the background as it helps understanding and appreciation. Not for everyone, but I bet there are plenty of people who would enjoy that.
As for other Who songs - there are so many... One that is lesser known but kind of fun is
"I'm a Boy" about a boy who's mother want him to be a girl - very timely subject matter these days....
Cindy!!
Great band,song and reaction
Biz, if you're ready for a deep dive into the Who, here's something for you to check out. Roger Daltrey starred in a movie released in 1980 called "McVicar," based on a true story about a notorious British bank robber. A soundtrack album was released along with the movie, and while it was not a 'Who' album per se, it involved all the band members playing on it, and some of it sounds a whole like the Who during that era. The whole album kicks butt, but if you're interested, here's a couple of tunes to take a listen to and see what you think. I recommend "My Time Is Gonna Come," "Waiting For A Friend," or the title track, "Mcvicar." Good luck on your journey, there's a lot of great music ahead for you my friend.
I'm glad you are back. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you!
Welcome back, Biz!
THANK YOU
Always good to see your reactions. Im glad you got things sorted.😊
thank you
Always liked this tune...the chord progressions in this are fantastic and shows what a genius Townshend is as a songwriter. This song, I think, reflects Pete's out of control behavior with booze and drugs, and the end of the song always made me feel a tinge of melancholy, that the character is a screw up and the poor woman has had to endure his nonsense. But you "better bet your life, or love will cut you just like a knife" made me think of Townshend's alcoholism and trying to improve his relationship or else love will cut you to pieces when you screw up
You from this album is a damn good song.

Welcome back Bro!!!! Missed ya!
Appreciate it!!
This is an artist that “Roger Daltrey” (The Who lead singer)
loves, he’s a Scottish singer with a soulful, emotive voice and a powerful message to this song.

I do believe Roger has always been the lead singer for the who. The only replacement I know of is when Keith died and they got the current drummer. Augusta Ga
Who’s Next…my favorite album of all time!! Not one bad song!!
Try "My Wife" also by Pete, you need to know evrey lyric to appreciate the song and the music.
I can breathe again.
I do think Townsend sang a couple songs?? And I believe Entwistle did the Boris the Spider vocals.
It'd be great to see you review Who's Next!
Wassup Biz? All The Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes -- That was the title of Pete Townshend's solo album back then. "You Better You Bet" dropped when I was in high school, but, tbh, we leaned more heavily on Who's Next, Quadrophenia, & Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy. Funny thing, about Tommy, in that mix, Gen-Xers tended towards Quadrophenia over Tommy, but the Baby Boomers, the generation that were teenagers in the sixties, for them, Tommy was it -- at least that's what I found in my experience.
Some lyrics are missing………”I come to you with open arms, and open legs”
👋❤️❤️❤️

Sorry I've been gone so long brother 🤘

Their best album in my opinion is..❤ Meaty, Beaty,Big, and Bouncy😂❤my fav...aka music lover and lowrider.😂
Missed you.
You're the best!
✌
Finally! Dust off the headphones yall
What up Biz!

I liked Tommy, but Who's Next, Quadrophenia, and this tune, Naked Eye, is what turned me into a Who fan. Because you always dig into the lyrics, here's another 10 from Pete. (and some of his best lead playing) It's Kenny Jones on drums again, not Mooney, but still great.
Genius lyrics.
The Who Naked Eye

RIP Mooney and John. Thank You!
Take a little dope
And walk out in the air
The stars are all connected to the brain
Find me a woman and lay down on the ground
Her pleasure comes falling down like rain
Get myself a car, I feel power as I fly
Oh now I'm really in control
It all looks fine to the naked eye
But it don't really happen that way at all
Don't happen that way at all
You sign your own name and I sign mine
They're both the same but we still get separate rooms
You can cover up your guts but when you cover up your nuts
You're admitting that there must be something wrong
Press any button and milk and honey flows
The world begins behind your neighbor's wall
It all looks fine to the naked eye
But it don't really happen that way at all
Nah nah no, don't happen that way at all
You hold the gun and I hold the wound
And we stand looking in each other's eyes
Both think we know what's right,
Both know we know what's wrong,
We tell ourselves so many many many lies,
We're not pawns in any game, we're not tools of bigger men,
There's only one who can really move us all,
It all looks fine to the naked eye
But it don't really happen that way at all
My brother

Who’s Next album review You Better You Better You Bet lol !

Good one Biz! Can you react to Sqeezebox?
YES it is definitely on my place
Keith Moon's replacement for some years was, as here, ex-Faces drummer Kenney Jones. Fine player, but who can truly take Keith Moon's place?
