    Teaching kids how to not have self control is a great idea.

    This school doesn’t even have LOCKERS, 3 stories and no lockers? They could have well used that money for something greater and POUCHES? Are you kidding me. If they had interviewed me they would have gotten a piece of my mind and insight on how school without the phones actually is. No kid actually enjoys this. No PARENT actually enjoys it. I get that some school administrators are upset at the use of phones but there are much more substantial ways to endorse less phone activity. Teachers here are to blame if they cannot get phones in classrooms under control. Kids need to be corrected yes but there are ways to correct the nasty buggers who need discipline without ruining the other kids who don’t need it whatsoever. Outrages and terrible.

    Honestly made my stomach turn watching this. Prepare for the collapse of your rights kiddos. This is conditioning if I’ve ever seen it. I’m so disgusted in SHS, as a former student I can attest. These bafoons have no idea where their budgets actually need to go.

      You're absolutely right there goes their first amendment right to document at school. I guess we won't be seeing pictures of the tampon machine in the boys bathroom this year. Silenced.....

      In turkey you lock your phone in a locker with everyone else. Only one person has the key for it, lets say (impossible) a shooting happened, you're cooked if that one person dies. Its also usually placed INFRONT OF THE DOOR. So yeah. Be glad its just a bag with a needle that you can pry open and not a whole ass safe.

    What ever happened to the teachers taking the phones and making parents pick the phones up. Stop wasting money on these novel pouches. That ninth grader is attached to phones.

    Im a 14 year old turk.if a kid said that about teachers in a INTERVIEW NEAR THEM, they would probably run out crying from the room telling you they were "mentally and verbally abused". But in reality its usually not lies. They just tell you stuff you gotta fix in a mean way. It makes me sad that people would side with a student claiming "abuse" when its just simple diciplining.

    They should have spent the money on lockers and asked the kids to leave their phone in them but instead they wasted our money and are hurting the children carrying super heavy backpacks around all day .
    Great move Seaside

  • @Fergaturglefartsmurgle

    Spending 25,000 on a couple of pouches is outrageous and disgraceful, they could have used that money for much more beneficial things. As well as they are punishing 100+ kids whom are responsible with their phones.
    Half of this is absolute bs if you had interviewed other staff or other students you would realize where they stand on this stupid ass pouch thing. Teachers are not ecstatic about it, in fact they think it’s so much of a hassle and unnecessary they could care LESS about if kids have their phones in pouches.

    • @Somerandomturkie
      @Somerandomturkie หลายเดือนก่อน

      Why would you speak out against it if they dont carey ik 25 bands, 265 grand, 25 stacks is a bit much but still important for middle schools

  • @Fergaturglefartsmurgle
    @Fergaturglefartsmurgle หลายเดือนก่อน

    Any kid going to this school who says it’s beneficial to them that’s great, but nothing NOTHING was stopping them from being more school work prioritized before the pouches. Other kids should not be punished for other immature kids not doing their school work due to “phones”. Ruining a high school experience. Kids who work with the school in dances, events, and more have to work around this no phone thing when it comes to taking pictures for school related activities. They have to buy iPads to take pictures or a whole camera which is so unnecessary, ultimately this is making the school spend more money. I’ve seen teachers at this school take out their phones mid class, yet kids are in trouble for having theirs?

    This is taking away students rights to their own property “oh oh but it’s still in their possession” you are restricting kids from their personal devices and their rights to have it. School shootings? You’re saying I cannot text my mother during one of the scariest moments of my entire life? Where I can nearly die? “She will be emailed!” That is not the point, a email is not as effective at distributing information as a message or a call is. Either way it doesn’t matter which is more effective, kids should be well able to text their parents in a dire situation such as a school shooting, a fire etc.. this is absolutely disgusting and anyone who endorses it is crazy.
