Always check the drawers for any electronics such as the T.V. Remote , look for a map of the ship for emergency services including your muster point or emergency exit if in a hotel , always check around the bed and desk for sockets as this is where sockets are usually placed in the hotel room /cabin ,there should be a waterproof socket either by the sink or by the mirror in the the ensuite bathroom . Always check for a kettle in a cupboard as some hotels store these items out of sight , also bring triple A and double A batteries In case you need to change the batteries In the T.V remote .
The first thing I do is wipe down the entire cabin with Clorox wipes. Then I check the mattress for bed bugs.
Excellent advise!
… and have you ever found any?
