Too hard on those heels. Suppose to plant the weight toward the front of the shoes. Not rest all the weight on the heels.
Repair for a definite fix use screws instead of nails

What about if the screws come off with the heel. This is what happened to my boot. Pls tell me it can be fixed

Turn your drill to screwdriver mode and set the clutch/torsioner to something sensible - and definitely something other than "drill" or "infinity"
I was getting a lot out of this video until that awful clacking sort of sound which can only really be adequately described as "person destroying screw head", followed about a minute later with showing us the pristine smaller head that was in the shoe before, next to the now quite damaged and rounded new screw. And of course the "new" screw was then put in the pile of screws to be used, and likely went straight back into the heel.
It takes next to nothing to keep a screw head in good condition, and it keeps your tools in better condition and makes your work easier too. And it should be a no-brainer to discard damaged ones so they dont find their way back into anything.
Remember: someone screwed those screws in at least carefully enough that you didn't have problems removing it. Do the same for the next repair person....
