Personally if you don't mind buying refurbished I just bought the Samsung Galaxy stab s6 for around 300 something. It's a great tablet with high end specs. Sure it might have been released in 2019 but Samsung is giving it's flagship devices four major OS updates and maybe it would give another additional years of security updates. My Note 9 still gets security patches and its an 2018 phone. Samsung has been killing it with updates. I don't know about the budget range of devices. It seems most companies sort of skip out on timely updates. Companies might promise but sometimes they just don't deliver. Samsung and Google phones are the only companies I believe and have experienced with timely and continous updates.
@@altrock17 depending on your budget I think the Galaxy tab s7 price has dropped. For a little bit more you could get a S7 depending on how much on board memory you want. An Amazon renewed 128GB s7 is $399 and the 256GB is $440 right now. The s6 is only $20 less. Not sure if you ever got an Amazon renewed device before but its eligible for replacement or refund within 90 days of receipt if you are not satisfied. So far my experience has been pretty good with Amazon's renewed program. Pretty much the devices feel and look new.

Great video. I've just bought the Lenovo P11 Plus and it's an awesome tablet. Bought a keyboard cover and USB-C to 3.5mm adapter and it's perfect for light productivity and streaming. Can't complain.
The Amazon fire works well for the first year. After that the battery charging takes 6 hours to charge and the tablet system lags like a slow tortoise. Performance is so slow that I have to restart it everytime I use the fire everyday.

But, after some research, I do believe you may narrow your choices between Lenovo's P11 Plus, if you're on budget, and Samsung's S7 FE, if you're willing to pay the extra cost for the included pen and the more resourceful system. Nonetheless, they seem both great Android tablet options. It's worth noticing that, in some markets, there's the Moto Tab G70. This is also a great option, since it's pretty much the same as the P11 Plus.

It's more than enough for PDF reading and casual video watching. I got it on sale for like 200 euros. It was between that and a used s6 lite. You should know that the Tab A8 does not come with a pen and can't do DEX mode. For me that's not a dealbreaker as I don't annotate my pdf books I have a regular notebook and laptop where I take notes on. I definitely would recommend the Tab A8 4GB ram edition.

@@sonarium3542 I’ve tested both android and iPad painting apps. Nothing comes close to Procreate. I’d say get an iPad if you want to use it as a drawing tool. iPad 11 is best as it’s the perfect sketchbook size to feel comfortable holding too.

iPad only has the best gaming, IF you enjoy mobile games. If you enjoy real/classic games (emu's and roms) or even some games with real mouse support, android is definitely the way to go!
I’ve tried several Android tablets up to 300/400 dollar but it’s wasted money. They lag, have poor screens and often poor battery life. If you’re on a budget and still want a great tablet, there’s only one: The Ipad 2021 with A13 Boinic-chip for 325,- With ipad you also don’t notice it’s only 60 Hz screen.
Yeah, the lagging and slow response is the most frustrating thing about the tablets I have owned. Getting an iPad is an idea however I won't get all the apps I currently use on my android tablet. I'm also not a fan of Apple's UI on mobile devices. If I can be sure about the apps or even an acceptable alternative I'd strongly consider it. As for the UI, I am sure I can adapt. LOL
Agreed, I moved from Samsung to the ipad 9 and everything about the user experience is better. The battery life is especially outstanding. The a13 chip makes snappy with no lag. Also apple software updates go on for years. The only negative is the somewhat older design.
@@FishBeeProductions Samsung confirmed this yesterday, but I think it's because we are in the UK and for some reason we get a diffrrent spec as they also don't use the Snapdragon CPU.

No, those are not Windows tablets. You can find some apps that may do what you need though or just get a Windows tablet
