He was used to make Acnologia seem stronger, which was completely unneccessary because we were aware of acnologia being the peak. Nonetheless God Serena as a Gildarts level character could have been such a great addition to fairy tail. But well it ain't one piece
So God Serena has 8 dragon slayer magic. Five of them we saw during his fight with the wizard saints. There was Lightning (when he's about to finish warrod, yellow dragon), Cavern (earth, green dragon), Sea king (water, dark blue dragon), Purgatory (fire, orange dragon) and Gale (wind, light blue dragon). And judging from what the other colors of his dragons at 0:13 I think the other three are poison (dark red dragon, similar to Erik's), Light/white (white dragon, similar to sting's) and Darkness/Evil (dark violet, like the magic of phantom lord's master Jose porla). What do you guys think?
Gildarts is OP done right, minimal screen time, always makes an impact, but if never available to fight the big bad the MC has to overcome; always letting it be plausible there is still a huge gap between him and the MC

I really wish Mishima would’ve cared about fairy tail at this time because Gildarts felt very nerfed in this arc.
