Such a nostalgic song. Brings back a lot of memories for me from college. If you want to stay with them, listen to A Long December. Mr. Jones came out in 1993.
This song is from the early '90s. The album This Is from, August and everything after, Is just about perfect. No bad songs on it, some quite melancholy tunes on it but it's just immaculately written, composed, performed and produced. Their second album recovering the satellites is less known but just as good.
That is awesome that it brought back so many great memories! They were a great band! Other big songs for them were Round here and their cover of Big Yellow Taxi. He has a very unique voice. I'm not what genre they fell under. I don't consider it Pop myself, maybe more Soft Rock? It's always great to see you enjoy a reaction this much.😊
One of my favorite alternative rock groups it tells me you really need the dive more into alternative rock like seven Mary three screaming cheetah wheelies Soul Asylum I could go on all day there is a lot of good alternative rock groups out there and I'm glad your memories were good being in the corps not all songs bring back good memories
Counting Crows are an amazing band with lots of great songs - ROUND HERE, LONG DECEMBER, HANGING AROUND are some really good ones you might enjoy. And can you please react to the band - Dog's Eye View the song is EVERYTHING FALLS APART? I have NEVER seen anyone react to it but it is such a good song! And great reaction! Mr Jones came out in 1993 and Counting Crows blew up
I know you said he was fast and hard to follow, but take it from someone who listened to this song incessantly, the lyrics just flow, and you can sing along after only a couple of full listens.
the dreads were actually a wig...he wore various dread wigs through the years. He lived an extremely privileged childhood. I suppose it was an attempt to seem other than what he was.

Agreed this was one of the first songs I ever downloaded on my very first iPod back in the day

An incredible songwriter and singer. A legendary song. He didn't want fame and all the popularity.
The power of music to transport you to a time and place. Your face was beautiful as the memories flooded back. I really enjoyed your reaction.

This is one of my favourite songs. Peace and Love from Canada. The lyrics are happy and haunting, dealing with addiction
I Love Your Reactions!
Thanks!
It's always a great song to hear. Cool vibes are immediately achieved.
90s classic ❤
Check out Round Here by them next. One of my favorite songs of all time.
Their second best song IMO. Anna Begins is their best.
So it's not country but it's great music. I've always loved different types of music. I love this song.
I really enjoy watching your videos after a long hard day of work
Just read that this song sold 7 million copies.
1994 95😊

The music sounded upbeat, but the lyrics were a little sad.

"an attempt to seem other than what he was", defines every modern musician to ever take the stage.
