      exactly. i've done that in the past. i used to create over the top time tables to study for 8 hours but i could barely ever follow it. and nowadays i don't even need a time table and i can easily study for 8-9 hours like i did today. its just honesty that matters the most.

    I used to use these to do list apps to track them but they would just end up forgotten but destroying these tasks on paper is hella satisfying lol. I just write small things in any random paper and literally tear away at the paper when my task is done. Always love your videos bro 👊

    Hey man, I don't watch your videos that much anymore cause I found my path and my way of tackling life but I come by time to time cause you are entertaining and genuine with what you say. Not always correct in my opinion, but true to your word. I hope you never change that. Being genuine might not earn you the most subs but it will reward you a peaceful conscience.

    The video was amazing like always! Its like a teacher comes and gives me advice on how to change something in my life that I never paid attention to.
    For the last part of the video I kindda relate to it cause I had the same problem a few months ago with tracking progress on Whatsapp or on a notebook. I took a few pages made a small notebook out of it and carried it everywhere (mostly) for a week. Didnt work for me much, but what did work was I wrote down my tasks on the notebook and used it at the end of the day for review and kept the whatsapp list to remind me of my tasks throughout the day.
    Surely took much work but kept me going

    bro really be making videos on stuff i struggle with like he's god, thanks man you saved me again. also you can use like a notes app for your list, which lets you type and cross it out, like you can choose the pencil option and scribble over it.

    congrats on 200k subs, I think paper would cool since carrying a pocket note and being able to strike a task once completed sometimes fuels your motivation to do more and it feels more personalized for some reason other than that a phone is more convenient

    for crossing out tasks, i recommend paper. it is so satisfying to cross out tasks that i write them on scratch paper. forget about notebooks or journals. back of receipts would do. extra satisfying to throw out the paper when youre done. try it next time you get a paper receipt.

    Win tasks - where your routine envolves around these task. If you do then, you win the day
    Make things simple - standardize what you can, so you have more energy and time to think about important things, like you tasks
    Optimize - make changes if needed for best work
    Remeber:
    Even 10% it's better then 0%, progress not perfection
    You will fail, and that's okay, just keep trying and changing until it works
    Big period of work - big period of rest
    Find the day time you work best and put your taks on them if possible (morning - afternoon - night)
    You don't have to block EVERY thing in time stamps (but personally, I prefer, make me feel the stress to do the thing in the time stamps so I am more disciplined [remember, everyone fails, and don't go hard on yourself if you can't do on the time])
    Just yourself can change your life!

    Great video man but i think the problem is that most of the people don't really know what they spend their time on. So, basically for me I first identified what were the things i spent the time on and subtracted the approx number with 24 hr like for ex : 24 - 8 hrs of sleep - ..... And after doing this i found out i had lots of freetime and i had then planned my routine and wrote on a paper(in simple words time-management)

    School leaves with me very little time but I’m happy setting 2 priorities for my day. Go gym (which is basically automatic now), and get good sleep. Sleep is my priority cos when you get good sleep, you’ll have a great morning, and just a great day. Stuff like meditation is easy for me when I’ve gotten good sleep and I’m feeling good in the morning.

    Yo I wish ur vids existed a year ago when i was still in highschool. I tried doing schedules and routines so many times back then and none of them worked and i just got burnt out so i gave up so now in college im, in a lack of a better word, basically fucked. I've missed so many submissions and just feel so unmotivated and i feel like i have no control of my time. Anyway, ur vid helped give me some motivation to try making a routine for myself again with your tips. thanks, man.

    I'd recommend putting your routine/tasks on a small notecard. It is not an inconvenience to carry around like a notebook (you could even keep it in the back of your phone case), but you still get all the benefits of pen on paper.

    About the paper vs digital plan thing:
    I plan my day on Google Calendar, but I get the equivalent of that crossing off satisfaction by writing what I did on a book. I write everything from notes from lectures and books, to reviews on the episodes and videos I watch.
    It doesn't have to be like mine (like you said, it's optimized to me. I like writing and scribbling.) But a simple log can be fun.

    Writing it on paper works best for me. It gives a sort of mental satisfaction. But if you are to write your routine on WhatsApp then you should stick to it because it takes time to switch into a new habit.

    i personally think that paper's better (because I wanna stay off my phone as much as possible, and there's a physical record of what I did now). I wish I could show you but I do have these to-do list that I have on my planner and it just feels SOOOO SATISFYING TO JUST CROSS THEM OUT at the end of the day :D

    I have a very very small notebook it's smaller than my phone and fits in my pocket. You can definitely find something to meet your requirements. I carry it around with me at all times, in addition to a pencil of course... Try it out!

    so me personally, i think you should do it on paper because not only do you remember how to write but i think its just better overall because my french teacher keeps telling us that writing things on paper helps you learn. but rlly i just like writing on paper because i feel like the task will most likely be done if i write it on paper opposed to typing it in my notes app

    use a paper notebook it's better . i've engaged in a practical nice red notebook and it's a life changing game for me i became more productive and checking out my tasks and evaluating my day has never be that satisfying so yeah i really recommend it to u. U can use a small notebook that u can use even outside or use an A5 notebook and scan ur tasks in ur phone so u can always check them and u can still enjoy ur dopamine wave after finishing ur tasks and kinda check it out in the notebook.

    i started doing this thing a while back i got this super super small flip page notepad things so i can write tasks there and cross it out and i can carry it with me pretty much anywhere school, gym, etc
    i don't always stick to it but yeah its pretty satisfying
    whatsapp sounds great tho gonna try that out now

    To answer your side note, you should change to the online note thingies that is on your phone. (EX: Samsung Notes) bc u can make the font red or any other color. But to choose between the two options, probably stick to whatsapp because of practablity reasons. or you can js screenshot your routine and edit it so you can cross it out with the marker thing they provide on the phone.
