    The Cuisinart elemental food processor comes with a 550W motor and the model I am reviewing comes with an 11 cup work bowl.
    Inside the box will be a Dicing kit, together with a storage case. I will show you how well the dicing kit works by dicing onion, bell peppers, and also a potato.
    There is an adjustable slicing disc which you can manually rotate to the markings by selecting any size from 1 mm to 7 mm.
    The Cuisinart food processor also comes with a reversible shredding disc which you can use to shred foods to achieve a fine shred or coarse shred.
    There is also a Chopping/mixing blade and a stem adapter which should be used when using the reversible shredding disc, the dicing grid, and also the adjustable slicing disc.

    Your review was STELLAR!!! I was definitely overwhelmed when it arrived today. Mine came with an additional storage case, which is nice but the case is as big as a toaster! It has a lock on it though, which I imagine I’d appreciate it if I had small people in my kitchen. I’m struggling to reassemble the smaller round case that holds the slicing and dicing attachments. I also purchased the juicer and I’m not sure I’ll keep it. It comes with lots of parts and no easy way to put it together for storage. The people who engineer kitchen appliances must think everyone has an abundance of cabinets 😂
    Thank you again for an excellent video! I’ll be a forever fan!

    Cuisinart offers 3 yr warranty on its electrical products. Your presentation so clear, complete and analysis excellent. And, am impressed with the use of this 11 C Elemental FP with dicer kit. The new Custom Core FP 110 or FP 113 from Cuisinart include storing the blades inside the FP, along with opportunity to add a blender, extractor-juicer and 4 Cup chop and grind to the same bowl, if one chooses. They are a very good company with affordable kitchen utility products making homemakers life in the kitchen easy.

    4:50 - that safety feature seems to be standard now. My existing food processor does the same thing, the large feed tube needs to be inserted a minimum distance before it trips. It's not an issue with the smaller pushers because the large feed tube is fully inserted when you use them.
    I imagine it's to prevent finger slicing.

    I bought an Expert Pro (UK). Works in a similar way in principle. Your instructions are way better than the really bad instructions they provide. Thankyou🙏
    One question - does the shredder and dicer work for the small bowl?

    • @MeemReviews
      @MeemReviews  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm not a 100% sure, but I'm guessing it may not because the diameter size of the dicing kit may not fit the diameter of the smaller bowl...

    Thank you for this helpful video!
    I'm torn between this Cuisinart food processor and the Kitchenaid 13 cup food processor (which you also have a video for).
    I will mainly use it for dicing. So I was wondering which food processor is better for dicing?
    And do both devices dice hard veggies well(carrots, red beets, sweet potatoes, etc.)?
    Thank you so much!

    • @MeemReviews
      @MeemReviews  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You're welcome. They both are good, and they both handle hard veggies well. But here is what I think. Cuisinart has a bulky separate storage case, it's lightweight and the buttons tend to stick, although I did like how it processed food, dicing and chopping, not so much the slicing, it was very awkward.
      KA is very sturdy and it's all stored together. The buttons are much easier to use, dicing and slicing is very good. It's just heavy and most likely needs to stay out, provided you have counter space.
      If you can get the KA for a few more $, usually around the sales time I would opt for that one.
      I hope that helps.

    • @MeemReviews
      @MeemReviews  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      KitchenAid:
      Pros:
      *Very solid and will last longer.
      *Great for storing all accessories
      *Buttons are better than the Cuisinart
      *Can process longer period and gives decent results
      *Easy adjustable slicer located on top, can just adjust without removing the lid
      Cons:
      *It's too heavy to move around.
      *Food gets trapped a lot under the lid
      *Hefty price tag.
      Cuisinart
      Pros:
      *Not too heavy
      *Good price tag - half the price of KA
      *Not a lot of excess food around and under the lid
      *Processes food really well, gives good results (better than KA, i think)
      Cons:
      *Can't process too long, need to keep stopping and starting at least every 60-90 secs otherwise motor will burn out.
      *Not enough storage for accessories
      *Buttons tend to stick or need more pressure applied
      These are my thoughts, I hope it helps. If you plan to use a lot and don't need to worry about moving around the counter, go with KA. If you have storage space and patience, go with Cuisinart!

    Thank you for the video!, very informative and it saved me from buying it. I actually was a bit amazed or almost frightened about the engine. It seemed to crack down when you used the shredding disks. I want to replace my magimix. The only reason for this is because I can't use the bigger wide feed tube. There is unfortunately a security feature active for EUR versions. Also the storing of the accessories is much better with magimix. SO this Cuisinart is quite a disappointment 🙁
