I've heard of a number of issues. But the only one i had was the air filter bypassing. Which isn't great, but the newer version of it they've changed the filter/airhorn and apparently that has fixed that issue. I've heard of premature bearing failure and some other issues but i do wonder if it was related to the dust ingestion.
Nice job. I like the quad trailer you use, what make is it? You should definitely get yourself a pair of those rubber chainsaw boots I was talking about in your earlier video. They will work great in the forest for you especially in the snow but also throughout the rest of the year. I would recommend the Husqvarna boots over the Viking ones. You should be able to get them from your nearest chainsaw dealer.
Hello again, the quad trailer is a "MUTS". Definitely been useful for me, especially with the walking beam to get over obstacles. I'll check out the boots when I get a chance, but i think my dealer just stocks viking brand boots most of the time.
@@BenOfficial94 The Viking brand will work well for you too. Do you have any steel toe rubber boots you could wear in the meantime before you get the other ones? I reckon they would be better than the leather boots you're wearing now. Thanks for the info on the quad trailer too.
@@mountainviewcattle I have some CSA rubbers that i wear in the summer doing irrigation work, but honestly they are deathly cold in the winter and hurt my feet haha. If I were to wear such a boot I'll need to be buying one.
@@BenOfficial94 Ah OK, if you're able to, it would be good to see the CSA rubber boots in a quick video with your pants over top for comparison before your feet get cold! But yes, it sounds like you definitely need to be buying a pair of good quality rubber chainsaw boots.
What size chain are you running? 28 or 25?
24" 84 driver 3/8 chain.
I've herd there's been issues with this saw, have you enconterd any?

I run a 570xp, great saw. I prefer it over my Stihl 046.
