    2 cups of butter is 226 grams x 2, or 1 pound.

      One stick or half a cup is 113 grams. I just googled it to be sure. So 452 grams in 2 cups

    What can I substitute for the orange Kool Aid? It has red 40 food dye and my daughter is allergic to red 40.

      frozen orange juice concentrate, a few tablespoons (but watch that it doesn't thin the frosting if you add too much); orange zest and squeezed orange juice, orange jello (few teaspoons of dried orange jello mix dissolved in a couple tablespoons (ONLY) of hot water) but again be careful with how much liquid you're introducing into the buttercream. buttercream made with only real butter is especially unforgiving to liquids. orange extract or a bit of orange marmalade. Food dyes (red in particular) are especially bad for people with ADHD, depression, and hyperactivity issues to consume, also, btw.

    The first time you added heavy whipping cream you said 2 teaspoons but when you added more you added a tablespoon? My mom and I are making this today!

    Just a heads up in the video you say 2 cups of butter but the text at the bottom said 4 cups :)

    OMG, I just LOVE you! But I do have a few questions, and I am shocked that nobody else asked these but maybe they were embarrassed or something...I don't know. First, when you were talking about the butter, you SAID 2 cups, 4 sticks, but at the bottom of the screen, it said in print 4 cups. However, the TWO cups are the correct amount, right? Also, with the vanilla and the cream, you said "tablespoons" at one point. In print, at the bottom of the screen, it said teaspoons (I think...I'm starting to confuse myself!), however, it LOOKED like you were using a TABLESPOON. Could you clarify those two things for me? Also, when you added more salt and vanilla, after tasting, to cut the sweetness, it looked like you added two MORE teaspoons. Is it pretty safe to add vanilla and not go overboard? I do not want to critique you in any way, and it could be that I, and only I, misunderstood something! I am for sure going to use this, over and over, and I want to have it right but please forgive me if I sound picky. I really do love you and you are so very good at your craft. Thanks so much!

      @NeuroticMomBakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes my editor put the wrong amounts and once the video is produced it cannot be changed. It is TWO cups of butter and it should be TABLESPOONS of cream.

    • @jesstheone231

      Because she said "teaspoons," but I've been watching soooo many frosting videos that I suspected it was wrong (also she said TB later). Totally awesome that you took the time to read the comments and clear this up! I hate when there's a legit question that goes unanswered. Great video.

    Your grams are wrong. 454 grams 2 cups of butter or 1 lb
