  • !!!!!RECOMMENDED TO WATCH AT 1.25X/1.5X SPEED AS NORMAL SPEED MIGHT BE TOO SLOW!!!!!
    This video breaks down the importance of the laning phase in the Offlane and how to always be playing with advantage over the enemy's Safelane. It touches on a common flaw seen in many lower MMR games where regeneration in lane is often overlooked and treated as a waste of networth. It is part of the raw footage obtained from a coaching session conducted with a Crusader Offlane player.
    Hope you guys will learn from this video, enjoy!

    I went from archon 4 to legend 1 within 2 days and a few games because of this video and your recent video. I don't really comment much on youtube but I would like to say thanks because I've never reached Legend before. More offlane videos!

    Love this vid! a crusader level mid lane coaching would be awesome too.
    Another idea is discuss the different mid game “instincts”/approach, i.e. continue what u started talking about at the start of the vid when oracle and legion fought in the triangle.

    Good content! I think you should talk about importance of sticks/raindrop for laning phase also

    • @BalloonDota
      @BalloonDota  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, the topic did not come about because there were too many things to cover in the session. But you are absolutely right, raindrops and magic stick are good to abuse survivability and trades in lane only if the lane has spell casting and nukes.
      Good on you to point that out, cheers!

    • @Zero-Saber
      @Zero-Saber ปีที่แล้ว

      I was thinking the same. Especially on a hero like LC when you can already sustain pretty well form moment of courage procs. If you buy early stick you can sustain through your lane with press the attack and stick charges, might not even need that many consumables.

    • @BalloonDota
      @BalloonDota  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Zero-Saber Hi, the stick provides an estimated 5-6 charges in a span of 1 half to 2 minutes. That will not equate to a salve or mango recovery for the same cost. The stick would be bought however, if the player has already recovered and did not require further regen to sustain the lane. As for the raindrop, yes that is a necessity by 3 mins in the lane, but consumables should always be present even then.

    • @BalloonDota
      @BalloonDota  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Zero-Saber even if Legion had proc, if his health was constantly below half, he would not even be allowed to step near a creep, what more the proc wouldn't sustain him comfortably in lane. Again, I do not advocate losing health for nothing. I am simply highlighting the fact that full health and more than half mana is always necessary to play strong in lane.

      Their laning can be so good compared to higher level mmr players. But where they fail is the macro game, sometimes they end up running around as 5 man into anything they can find making it predictable.

    • @1who4me
      @1who4me 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We are good at many things but we still have the deathball and feed mentality which ruins our gains. Plus people throw and troll a lot more at lower levels

    • @LukeD02
      @LukeD02 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The issue in low ranks is the loud noob on voice chat constantly flaming on why you didn't walk across the map to save them while they're diving tower. That, and permanently 5 manning as soon as even minute 10-15. Fighting around mid while tower is dead or even in enemy jungle without any vision.
      I think there's a lot of pretty decent and willing to learn players in these brackets, but team just prevents you from going up in MMR.

    I didn't see a lot of creep agro at all. I'm a bit confused why you gave him a good mark for that. I think I saw him doing it once for lane equilibrium and a ton of times because he ran through the wave to be too aggressive and took a lot of harrass. Maybe I'm missing something, but it just seemed like a few lucky kills where the enemy was too passive as well. I'm low ranked so I don't know, but I think the lane kinda favours the venge and the wk? I've seen a ton of videos where the support should harrass from the opposite side of the other support. Like imagine this lane with venge actually not just soaking up wk xp and he tried to zone the Oracle a bit more and pulled more. Or just stood on the opposite side of the lane and right clicked the legion. And if legion runs at her they have two stuns to lock legion inside of the creep wave.
